Il personale era benvenuto e amichevole. Dinushka Goonathalake ci guardava molto bene. La settimana scorsa, dopo aver soggiornato per una conferenza, siamo stati più apprezzabili di una bella stanza aperta al parco, che guardava la baia sul nostro ritorno da avventura a Arnem Land. La nostra stanza era sempre fresca e luminosa, la moderna bagno. Abbiamo apprezzato l'accesso all'aria aperta dal piccolo balcone. È stata fornita una buona varietà di tè. L'atmosfera è stata rilassata, adattandosi al sentimento tropicale di Darwin. Prepari colazione fresca sulla terrazza o all'interno e un ottimo caffè disponibile se desiderato. Aggiunge un bonus per le passeggiate di mattina e sera nel parco lungo la baia fino alla città e nei ristoranti vicini.

Not a bad hotel for what it is, but when i stayed here we paid about $150 per night, which is reasonable for what it is, anything over 200 would be pushing it, as its only a 3.5 star hotel over all. The staff were friendly when checking in, helpful and got us checked in no issues. There is parking available on site, and also an area to pull up in your car to unload outside the front of the hotel. The rooms are ok, but feel a little dirty. The carpet seems to need a good clean, and the bathroom grout needs a scrub or re-doing! Bed was O-K but the mattress has seen better days i am sure! Aircon was good and cold, so thats key in Darwin! The breakfast included in the room is only continental, if you want hot food its an additional cost which was a surprise. Continental breakfast was not to bad though, a few options, fruit, cereal, and coffee from a machine. Although its hit and miss finding a clean mug! Coffee wasn't great tasting, so we headed out to Vault nearby for our morning coffee fix. Not a bad spot, close to everything in the city and the waterfront, walking distance, or scooters out the front you can use for a small fee. Lastly, my towels in the bathroom were clean, but my colleague said his two towels had stains over them, eww! Thanks for the stay! good aircon!

I had a wonderful short stay,. Clean room aircon was cool and very modern room. Awesome outdoor pool and spa plenty of onsite amenities. Rstaurants and buffet breakfast and room service is a bonus being onsite. ****** and gym onsite, 15min walk to main street and hiring of bikes onsite too. Washing machine and driers available on every floor and a wellness centre. Will return and stay again.

This is not the Ritz Carlton. But it doesn't claim to be and I would definitely stay here again. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and an easy walk to most everything we wanted to do in town. There's a fridge in the room and a hot pot to make instant coffee. Yes you could hear street noise at night and if people on the street are yelling you can hear it in the room. But that was temporary and only one night for a few minutes. (can't control the population...). We didn't want to drive, and this made it easy to walk to all the bars and restaurants, the grocery store, bus stop, etc. Most of the upscale hotels are much farther away so you'd have to get transportation back and forth or just stay on their property. This worked out great for us and I'd stay there again. Just know it's not the Ritz (and Alice Springs isn't Sydney)...

We stayed here for 6 nights in an apartment. The first apartment we were in, was very nice modern, and a good size, the couch though was very low and uncomfortable to sit on, it was a click clack lounge. We also found the whole place was very dirty, the cleanliness was disgusting. There were dirty marks on the walls and cupboards, the floor was dirty, and the skirting boards have never been cleaned, the bedside tables were dirty, as was the drawers, I wiped them all down before putting our stuff in them, the bathroom cupboard had dead baby cockroaches in it, and smelt very strongly of insect spray. The bed was comfortable, but made a terrible noise when getting into it. The air conditioner in the lounge, did not work, because it was a public holiday they could not get an electrician, we were offered another room, which was a little smaller, so we said we would wait to the next day for the electrician, next day the electrician could not come, so one of the workers came and said he would clean it, after being cleaned, it still didn’t work, so we were offered another room, which we took. This apartment was bigger than the last, again it was very nice, they are modern, it’s a shame they are not cleaned and looked after. The same lounge, a click clack lounge, which is not comfy and too low. The floor next to the bed was disgusting, there was like orange juice or something orange and sticky, and also on the bedside table, so I cleaned that, but there was lots of dust balls on the floor and behind the curtains, the bathroom had mildew around the taps and sink hole, and around the toilet was not cleaned properly. there were dirty food marks around the dishwasher. The walls had dirty marks on them, and the skirting boards were also dirty. There is a laundry in the apartment, which was good. As for room service, I think we got it once the whole time we were there, and that was, replace our towels and empty the bin, the tea and coffee or the bathroom items were not replaced or refilled either. There were no blankets in the room, just a sheet on the bed, so we had to ask for a blanket. The noise in the corridors carry, Then there’s the staff at the reception desk ; there were a few different staff there each time we went, which were all not very courteous, and impolite. There is secure parking, but that comes at a cost also on top of your accommodation costs. The good thing is , the hotel is central, and walking distance to the mall, and supermarket across the road, and restaurants nearby. The downside is definitely the cleanliness , there is none. Very unhygienic.

I migliori collaboratori che abbia mai incontrato al mondo (e ho viaggiato 150 paesi finora!) sono molto utili e si sente davvero che fanno il loro lavoro con amore e passione e si sente a casa! Il cinema aperto è anche un bel cinema con stelle e vicino a una bella piscina. Molto vicino a tutte le attrazioni del centro della città e in un edificio di patrimonio romantico, con un bellissimo albero magico tenuto dai custodi indigeni. Puoi anche parlare con un amichevole membro della comunità autoctona per conoscere meglio la cultura. I proprietari sono un giovane coppia tedesca molto amichevole e qualificato che cercherà di fare del proprio meglio per rendere inoltrabile la vostra vacanza per aiutarvi in tutti gli aspetti! Le camere, i bagni sono super puliti e confortevoli, la cucina grande e tempestosa e tutte le persone che vibrano bene!

Me & my husband loved it here, we stayed 3 nights but could have happily stayed much longer! We had an apartment with a king bed! It had everything you needed, I could have quite happily lived there, you have a full kitchen with microwave, hob, grill and oven. They provide washing up liquid, cloths, tea, coffee etc as well as soap , shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, they really have thought of everything! There was a shopping centre a 5 min walk away with a BWS too! The bus stop is a 1 min walk which was really handy, especially since transport is free until Jan 2023. I would 100% stay here again, it was a perfect stay and excellent value for money!

Excellent location right next to the Darwin International Airport. Good, friendly staff on hand. Late alcohol service is not available. But, they did take me in the golf cart to the bottle shop down the road to get my drinks.... Golf cart operator was nowhere to be found for my early flight, so I had to walk to the airport. Luckily it's not far....

We stayed at Doubletree Esplanade Darwin (116) for 11 days. We booked there for the location and the pool. That did not disappoint. The pool is the best in the area. The bar and restaurant are an attraction too. We had opportunity to eat there after 12 hour days on tour. We were grateful for the good service and food. As a mature couple we also enjoyed drinks by the pool. As walkers we found it extremely easy due to the location to enjoy the Mitchell st eateries and the local sights. We were however disappointed that our “ Double Guest Plus - HIGHER FLOOR - Water/ocean views” room was a double room on the second floor. At least we weren’t near the lifts but with the late flights into Darwin other guests could be noisy arriving and departing at night. The room was not as clean as we expected and we did need to request a clean replacement towel on the first day due to a dirty one being folded and left in our bathroom. The reception staff were helpful when we requested robes, toilet paper and new towels. Having stayed at a Doubletree in Los Angeles before we had high expectations. That this was in Darwin and was expensive in comparison to places we have stayed in at Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore we did feel disappointed. Overall we would probably choose to stay there again as the staff attempted to address most issues.

We did the winter soirée for dinner it was the most delicious meal we have had for a while Everything was cooked to perfection and the deserts were to die for Looking forward to their next event of this is an indication of the quality

Good budget accommodation. The kitchenette provided was good enough to get buy on. We could not leave the aircon on when not in the villa which I did not like. December is very hot day and night in Alice. The villa itself was clean and the pool is really the reason we booked having stayed before and loved the pool. A bit of a walk into town centre but doable. The reception has basic items available including alcohol. Great for families and groups and couples like us, will be staying here again. My only complaint is I stayed for 9 days and would have liked the room given a full service at least once during that time.

The Diplomat Motel is in a central location close to shops. Stumps Café is on site and open for breakfast and lunch. Staff are friendly and there is a reasonable menu and the food and coffee are good quality. Uncles Tavern is also on site and serves good quality bar meals for dinner. The tavern was busy but meals were available in a reasonable time and drinks available after a short wait in a queue. We stayed at The Diplomat for 2 nights in a King Room on the first floor. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was close to the corner of Gregory Terrace and Hartley street and whilst it was close to the tavern we didn't notice excessive noise other than some loud cars on the adjacent streets. The main room and bathroom were large and the air conditioning effective. There was a small amount of rust on the shower screen and some cracked tiles in the bathroom. The King size bed was comfortable but the sheets were worn thin and had been repaired. There were stains on the carpet.

Sono stati qui poche volte, perché questa è la nostra opzione preferita. Amichevole personale che si sono arrampicati per arrivare in una stanza presto mentre avevamo viaggiato in autobus nelle prime ore del mattino. Penso che la mia stanza sia stata migliorata per ospitare l'arrivo presto. Camera pulita, grande cucina attrezzata. Succhiare con acqua fredda in frigorifero e cubi di ghiaccio in tasca in congelatore ! Aircon x2 ha funzionato molto bene. Camera grande con bagno grande in seguito. Toilette fornite. Il letto era fantasticamente comodo. Lavatrice in camera così conveniente. Possibile mettere vestiti su cavalli fuori al sole. I vestiti si asciugavano rapidamente nel clima secco di Alice! . Gli appartamenti non sono vicini al CBD .. passeggiata. Tuttavia, certamente non è una opzione a notte. I complessi sono messi in pace e tranquilli. Sono già pianificati di tornare più tardi l'anno con la famiglia, come io amo questi appartamenti.

Le mutande erano di carta sottile. Le foglie erano economiche. Il colazione è stato fornito a me (Kathy e una coppia in un'altra stanza che aveva prenotato via il sito web di Kathy ). Le coppie avevano bacon e uova ho chiesto di fornire bacon e uova a cui Kathy ha risposto: “Non lo ottenete come hai prenotato attraverso l’aria bnb e devo aspettare i miei soldi” !!!! Era seria. Sì. E poi continuava a essere brutta e a ignorarmi davanti agli altri ospiti che riconoscevano le mie preoccupazioni con la sua atteggiamento. Ho discusso con lei di lasciare solo per essere detto che ero brutta e il mio comportamento non era accettabile. Ho ordinato la pizza e sembrava che fosse un evento disturbante non avevo seduto con gli altri ospiti al mio arrivo, ma non sapevo nemmeno che erano ospiti fino alla mattina, come pensavo fossero amici di Kathy. Ho avuto un sonno scioccante e ho dovuto inviare un messaggio a Kathy per rinviare il mio colazione fino alle 7:00 invece che alle 6:00, come già stato organizzato. Mi ha attraversato per quello che sembrava il semplice fatto che avevo prenotato attraverso il bnb aereo Kathy - devi toglierlo dall'Airbnb se non ti piace il loro sistema Devi anche essere attento a come la tua atteggiamento possa influenzare le persone
