Hotel vicini a Gold Creek Station a Canberra

Non è prevista la colazione, la stanza è con due camere da letto, non so perché la stanza abbia un odore così buono di curry, le finestre sono aperte tutta la notte e altre sono ok. La camera è pulita, parcheggio gratuito, a 15 minuti di auto dal centro di Canberra, vicino al centro commerciale Westfield, molto comodo per mangiare e fare shopping.

Sono arrivato tardi, c'era un computer nella principale entrata per controllare, nessun segno che indicasse che era il computer per controllare e uscire. Per controllare la casella di sbarco per depositare la chiave non è segnalata e piccoli, i mattoni sul piano G sono sporchi. Il bagno condiviso era pulito, solo 2 cubi per doccia e 2 per toaletta . La stanza era pulita. Nessuna caldaia, mini frigo. La TV intelligente non era davvero intelligente, non c'è modo di farla funzionare. La posizione era buona, un sacco di parcheggio gratuito.

Ho visto le recensioni e non mi aspettavo molto. Mi sono sorpreso di essere onesta. La ricezione era utile, il check-in era veloce e facile. La nostra stanza era pulita, ben attrezzata e il letto, bella e morbido e abbiamo avuto le migliori notti di sonno. L'unica influenza era la toletta della zona comune, che era disgustosa, ma che è a discapito di persone sporche.

Ho dovuto partecipare a un funerale a Canberra e un amico ha raccomandato questo YMCA (Leumeah Lodge) in suburbano di Nicholls, conveniente a quel lato della città fuori Barton Highway. Questo alloggio è molto nuovo. Se il tuo GPS è vecchio, allora il n. 48 non è su di esso! Si trova al contrario di McDonalds e dietro KFC. E' bellissimo, senza spot, ben progettato con personale accogliente e molto utile. Ci sono 58 (differenti) e tutte le camere non fumatori, le camere più adatte, tra cui le camere a letto a fondo usate dai gruppi scolastici. In un solo posto, ho scelto la ”Reina” perfettamente adatta per un paio di persone - la camera, il bagno e la doccia tutti spaziosi, con i bagni e il secchio per capelli forniti; il letto matrimoniale era molto comodo. Condizionamento d'aria e WiFi disponibile con TV, sacchetti da tè/caffee e caldaia. È possibile ordinare una Cassa colazione la notte prima della ricezione. Parcheggio disponibile. Questo Lodge è molto superiore a molti hotel che ho soggiornato e il costo molto meno! È stato fantasticamente tranquillo per notte (giovedì).

Great hotel, clean and looks fresh. Bit far from city center, but not an issue of traveling with car. Profesy and friendly staff! Mediocre breakfast.

Just returned from a 2 night stay in a 2 bedroom apartment. Our room had 2 king size beds in two separate bedrooms both with televisions, bathroom, with shower/toilet and plenty of storage, lounge room, with lounge and 2 single seats, dining area with table and 2 seats, a washer/dryer combo and a well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage throughout the unit. Our dryer wouldn’t work and despite 2 people looking at it, no one could get it to dry. This was inconvenient as we had planned on being able to wash and dry clothes and towels. The TV in the bedroom with the window also didn’t work. We tried a different remote that turned it on but still said no signal. We advised reception on checkout and we’re told it would be passed on. As a regular Accor customer, I would have thought a discount might have been appropriate having pain $600 for two nights. Parking is also an addition $25/ day. Our wifi cut off in the morning before checkout time which I also found strange. Checkout was by 10am and at 630am, no wifi. The hotel is in a great location. There is no where to park and check in so I had to double park which was obviously not ideal. The lobby is also very small. The hotel was very clean and everyone we came into contact with was very helpful and friendly. We also didn’t get our room service, which again reception were advised about. The security thing you tap for entry to car park is on the passenger side which is difficult when you are in the car on your own! All these small issues aside, we had a great stay.

The staff at Pavilion couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful in letting us change rooms and responding to requests.But this didn’t quite make up for the fact that this hotel is in need of some serious TLC. We noticed at reception a tourist excellence award from Trip Adviser from 2012, which is hardly current. On the plus side: The huge foyer area was pleasant and welcoming. The king bed was very comfortable which is the main thing, quality linen. Bathroom towels were plentiful and soft and the shower over the bath had a non-slip surface and a useful help rail to get in and out. What needs attention: The desk and table in both rooms we had were chipped, and the curtains somewhat old and worn. The darkish grey paint also did nothing to raise the energy of what was already a dark room (215) with a tree outside. No plugs were provided for the basin and the bath, though these were supplied on request The restaurant staff were great, but the chicken schnitzel we ordered was really disappointing and poor value at $35. We would also have appreciated a microwave being available, if not as standard on request, as in many hotels. Overall a disappointing experience we would not repeat.

Questo è un hotel ottimo per i viaggiatori d'affari, poiché la posizione è all'interno di molti uffici e uffici governativi. Molto vicino (raggiungibile a piedi) ha un westfield che ha coles e woolworths. All'interno dell'hotel non c'è parcheggio, ma davanti all'edificio c'è un enorme parcheggio comunale aperto, pagabile dal lunedì al venerdì (gratuito nei fine settimana). Negativo - non aspettarti la pulizia della camera durante il fine settimana, gli addetti alle pulizie sono molto inesperti, non hanno cambiato le lenzuola o lavato i piatti fino a quando non ho chiesto loro di farlo. Anche il servizio di front desk è molto limitato.

Our room was spacious and clean with a beautiful bathroom. The bed was really comfortable but the pillow was too hard and lumpy. I really don't like the duvet only on top of the bed. Why isn't a top sheet used any more? The pool, sauna and club facilities were awesome. Great access to the lake for walks too. Parking isn't free. We used the 3 hours free section.

I went down with some friends for two days of Canberra races. The location was excellent. We got ubers everyday and generally they were $9 to get anywhere we wanted. The staff were friendly. The rooms were great. Dickson itself has some great pubs and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Overall our stay was excellent. Could not fault it.
