Fantastico
CCallum TAn overall enjoyable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Amman, but there’s certainly room for improvement.
Pros:
- Rooms are enormous, and incredibly comfortable, with a good modern TV that allows streaming from your phone and a lovely rain shower. This really is the major highlight.
- Legend’s bar is very fun. Cocktails may be a bit lacklustre, but the massive screens, live music, and golf and racing simulators more than make it a great bar.
- The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, and definitely a great choice for dinner.
- Breakfast when available is very solid but not amazing (see the cons for more info).
- Hotel location is far from downtown, but next to all the other major hotels with good access to restaurants.
- Staff are courteous and helpful for the most part.
Cons:
- The breakfast restaurant is far too small for the size of the hotel. I had breakfast paid for, but missed it twice due to the restaurant being full. This really needs to be amended because the hotel itself was not even full. If you cannot attend the capacity of your hotel, this is a deep issue. Breakfast was solid, but still it was small compared to other 5 star establishments.
- New Year’s Eve was due to be the highlight of our stay, but we were left massively underwhelmed. We booked a table at Roberto’s, but despite being seated by 22:20, it took until 23:00 to get our appetisers, and we had not even had our main courses by the time the New Year came. This is unacceptable.
- A small but necessary point, in general the cleaning was fine, but one day we returned to the hotel at 16:40 to find we still had not had our room made up. We had to request this. I expect far more from a 5 star establishment, and the fact that I’m not sure we would have received a cleaning without our request is concerning.
Overall, I’m happy with my stay. I still think the Ritz-Carlton Amman is probably the best hotel choice in Amman, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My review and rating reflects how I feel based on competing hotels in the area.

SShengyanQWe stayed in four different five-star hotels during our Jordan trip, and if I come back to Amman—or recommend a hotel to friends—it would definitely be W Hotel. The breakfast is amazing, with an impressive setting and creative staff who even made waffles for me! The entire team is professional, friendly, and attentive. Bonus: all the boys working there, even in the parking, are young, handsome, and eye-catching—definitely a fun touch! lol

Non riesco proprio a stare in un buon hotel
Hilton è un business di fascia alta
Ma la stanza è piccola, 28 metri quadrati, un po' affollata
Quando ho aperto la porta, il water era bloccato.
E il controllo di sicurezza è super severo, anche se controlli solo all'ingresso
Tirò fuori l'adattatore e il cavo di ricarica del computer e disse che voleva controllarli.
Poiché era mezzanotte, li ho chiamati e ho detto loro di non rispedirlo indietro.
Andiamo a dormire.
Alla fine non mi hanno restituito gli articoli. Non appena mi sono addormentato, hanno bussato alla mia porta e mi hanno dato una tessera per ritirare i miei articoli, dicendomi che avrei dovuto andare a cambiarli la mattina dopo!
Sono davvero senza parole.
Sono rimasto per una notte e ho deciso di cambiare

I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Amman from Wednesday to Thursday, and it was a short but truly pleasant experience.
Right from check-in, the staff made me feel welcome with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie 🍪 — such a simple touch, but it set the tone for a great stay.
🛏️ The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially cozy after a long day, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and restful.
🍽️ I had the chance to try the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of local and international choices. Fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to start the day right.
📍 The location is convenient — close to restaurants, shops, and a good base to explore Amman.
Most importantly, the hospitality of the staff stood out. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and made sure my short stay was enjoyable.

UUtente ospiteL'hotel ha una posizione decente con parecchi bar e negozi nelle vicinanze. L'hotel stesso dispone anche di un ristorante e di un bar.
Siamo stati qui per due notti separate per facilitare il nostro viaggio a Petra e Wadi Rum e in un'occasione abbiamo prenotato una camera doppia e una camera doppia superior. Valeva la pena spendere un po' di più per la camera superior perché aveva una zona soggiorno separata, un letto più grande e una doccia più grande. Entrambe le camere avevano un mini-frigo e alcuni snack disponibili a prezzi ragionevoli.
Eravamo grati che il bar chiudesse a un'ora decente, quindi la camera sarebbe stata silenziosa, ma abbiamo scoperto che i letti non erano così comodi.
Ci sono alcuni elementi che potrebbero essere migliorati, ma abbiamo ritenuto di aver trascorso un soggiorno decente dato che era solo un posto dove dormire.

MMR101Great stay with excellent service I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Amman and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The reception team were efficient at both check-in and check-out, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free.
The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, offering a great blend of modern amenities and a relaxing ambience. I particularly appreciated the quality of the bedding, which ensured a restful night's sleep. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job of maintaining the room throughout my stay.
Dining at the hotel was also a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of international and local dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurant staff were courteous and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The hotel's location is another strong point - convenient for both business and leisure travellers. In addition, the facilities, including the fitness centre and swimming pool, were well maintained and added to the overall positive experience.
Overall, the Mövenpick Hotel Amman is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city. With its exceptional service, comfortable accommodation and convenient location, it certainly lives up to the Mövenpick standard. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

UUtente ospiteQuesta è una grande suite alberghiera a buon bilancio, una posizione fantastica e una grande stanza con TV frigorifero e aria condizionata, tra cui servizi di tè e caffè.
Il personale era amichevole e a un prezzo molto ragionevole.
La suite dell'hotel merita una valutazione di 5* a causa della posizione che è vicino a tutte le strutture, ma la camera da bagno era di scarso standard e molti insetti volavano intorno, soprattutto nel bagno.
Le acque di scarico dovevano essere ordinate, perché una notte l'odore era molto forte alle 1:00 del mattino.
Questo hotel afferma di essere amico di sedia a rotelle, ma purtroppo è solo amico di sedia a rotelle se non viaggiate da soli.
Ho chiamato l'hotel due volte prima di arrivare a chiedere le strutture per gli utenti di sedie a rotelle e mi è stato detto di poter entrare nell'hotel attraverso una rampa usata per il bagaglio, ma purtroppo la rampa era molto forte, anche se mi hanno offerto di aiutarmi quando necessario.
Non mi è stato nemmeno detto che la sala da pranzo non era accessibile, anche se c'era un ascensore nella camera da letto.
Sono stati gentili abbastanza da portare la colazione nella mia stanza, anche se era ingustosa.
C'era un capello lungo sul letto delle signore e la pulizia della stanza poteva essere migliorata.
Spero che la direzione prenda il mio parere e pubblica le informazioni corrette relative alle strutture per gli utenti di sedie a rotelle, soprattutto per coloro che viaggiano da soli come me.
