Abbiamo trascorso due notti al The house all’inizio del nostro tour in Giordania. La struttura è un una zona tranquilla e moderna a poche centinaia di metri da Rainbow street. Si tratta di una costruzione moderna e molto ben rifinita con spazi interni lussuosi e belle stanze dotate anche di angolo cottura. Personale gentile e servizio sempre attento anche se qualche volta un po’ “rilassato”. L’hotel ha una bella piscina sulla terrazza intermedia con servizio di ristorazione (disponibile anche in stanza h24). La colazione è eccellente mentre non c’è un ristorante interno con servizio ai tavoli. La nostra stanza al sesto piano aveva un bel terrazzo con vista sulla piscina (e sulla città); uniche pecche la vicinanza ai sistemi di condizionamento del piano che erano un po’ rumorosi e qualche piccola carenza nella manutenzione (un paio di prese non proprio ben messe…).

Ottimo albergo, in un quartiere difficilmente percorribile a piedi. Come Intercontinental è davvero valido: servizio di check in e check out velocissimo, personale gentilissimo in ogni punto dell'albergo (in pochi minuti ci hanno addirittura portato il phon in camera e ci hanno chiamato per assicurarsi che lo avessimo già ricevuto), camere pulite e comode, piscina carina e colazione ottima e variegata (la migliore del nostro viaggio in Giordania - mio marito ha letteralmente amato il succo fresco di fragole). Con il senno di poi avremmo dovuto provare il ristorante libanese interno, ma alla fine non c'è stato modo. Magari la prossima volta!

Belle camere, comode, spaziose e con una bellissima vista su tutta la città. Ottima posizione centrale a pochi passi dalla raibow street. Colazione abbondante e variegata. Abbiamo soggiornato durante il ramadan ed abbiamo cenato in hotel alle 19:00 per l'interruzione giornaliera del digiuno, con musica dal vivo ed un buffet ricchissimo, ci è piaciuto molto, bella chicca al ns soggiorno. C'è anche una bella spa grande e luminosa, ad un piano alto, con bella vista sulla città. Unica osservazione non positiva è che alla reception e al ristorante può capitare di trovare chi non parla bene inglese.

Mi piaceva l'ostello di Cabin. Ho soggiornato solo due notti, ma erano solo quello che mi serviva. La posizione è perfetta. circondato da caffè, ristoranti e negozi, camminabile al cittadino, teatro e anime. Ho controllato intorno a mezzanotte e non c'era problema. Sono rimasto in una camera privata, che era di base ma pulita e confortevole. Lavanderia pulita e docce (con acqua calda). 24 ore di accesso all'acqua filtrata, al caffè, al tè. Ho avuto colazione la prima mattina, che era buona, ma la zona di cucina/hangout è grande. Le dorms sembravano anche buone e confortevoli - il tipo che aveva corretti cortine di privacy. Lo consiglierei certamente.

Clean basic hotel but one that really cares about its clients. Although only a one star hotel our stay was extremely comfortable. The inclusive breakfast was really nice and we suggest you book a room with an ensuite. The free walking tour of downtown Amman taken by Orwha was a real eye-opener and he was a perfect guide. (you pay him what do you think it’s worth). The hotel is a stones throw from the Roman theatre and the ancient citadel on the hill. It was very noisy throughout the night however as it was Eid and everybody was out celebrating until the Sun came up.

Apart from a nice-enough room (space to move around comfortably and also bigger rooms for higher prices) and a ”pretty good” breakfast, what I'll remember most about staying at this hotel is having met the ”excellent manager” of the place to whom I'll always be grateful for my 3 wonderful day tours at ”reasonable prices” in the hotel car driven by him (the first to Jerash & Royal Automobile Museum, the second to Mount Nebo & the Dead Sea, and the third to the ”3 desert castles” to the east) and who also provided additional great services (obtaining the Jett bus ticket to Petra, transport to that bus station in the early morning & finally transport to the Airport upon checkout for leaving the country). So yes, the ”best part” of staying at this hotel for anyone, I would say, will be meeting its manager (thank you so very much, Hani). And with that being said, another nice thing about this hotel I was quite pleased by is its location in the vicinity of the Old Town (just about a 5-minute walk to the right after coming down from this hotel) with plenty of miscellaneous shops including restaurants & small grocery places, and yes also located at a very short taxi ride from this hotel (just 5 minutes or so) is the city's ”number-one site” which is the Citadel (with also another great site which is the Roman Amphitheater pretty much right at the bottom of the Citadel hill).

I had an amazing stay at Carob Hostel in Amman, Jordan! The location was perfect, situated near the Amman Citadel with breathtaking views of the city. The affordability of the hostel was a definite bonus, and the facilities were great for both solo and group travellers. One of the best parts of my stay at Carob Hostel was the selection of tours available for booking. The staff were incredibly helpful in recommending and booking tours for me, which made my trip even more enjoyable. They were always available to answer any questions I had and gave me great advice on places to eat and visit in the city. The hostel itself was very clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. I felt at home during my entire stay and had the chance to meet other travellers from around the world. Overall, I highly recommend Carob Hostel to anyone travelling to Amman, Jordan. The location, affordability, and helpful staff make it an ideal choice for travellers looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future!
