Hotel con colazione a Spalato

This is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality. My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable: * Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector.This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant * In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient. Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

La migliore posizione per visitare la vecchia città. Delizioso colazione e una vista meravigliosa dalla piscina. Molto consigliere camere con vista sul mare. Il letto è comodo e le camere sono abbastanza grandi. Si consiglia anche di chiedere una camera di livello più alto, la vista è impressionante quando si sveglia la mattina.

La posizione è buona nella zona del palazzo, ma potrebbe essere molto confusa perché l'hotel ha un allegato diverso che è a pochi minuti a piedi. E potrebbe essere difficile trovare l'ubicazione dell'allegato, per la persona che io soggiorno in nome Villa Donbric non poteva essere trovato sulla mappa di Google. Inoltre, poiché abbiamo un paio di bagagli grandi, cerchiamo un hotel con ascensore, ma l'allegato che ho soggiornato non ha facilitato uno. (Non sono sicuro che l'altra allegato abbia uno o no) La stanza è più piccola di quanto mi aspettavo, è un po' confusa quando apriremo insieme due bagagli. Il colazione è servito e buono, con diverse opzioni di uova. Suggerisco che la attenzione aggiuntiva sia migliore quando prenotare l'hotel circa la posizione e preoccuparsi per i bagagli. O suggerisco di prenotare il loro servizio di pick-up opzionale.

È stato un prenotazione urgente perché il nostro hotel originale non aveva la nostra prenotazione. Di solito passano un considerevole tempo attraverso recensioni ecc, ma con il Palazzo Azzurro (hotel?) è stato un caso di necessità. Purtroppo, anche se avevamo prenotato un doppio deluxe, non corrispondeva a camere deluxe simili a 4 stelle. Appreciate che fossimo quasi nel centro della divisione, con spazio a premio, ma la vista di una piccola valle con graffiti un minibar vuoto, non nemmeno collegato, una luce di buio irritante, penso dalla a/c che assicurava la stanza non era completamente buio. Dopo aver cercato di chiudere senza successo, andai alla ricezione, che aveva un numero telefonico da chiamare, e mi rinunciai e volevo buttargli una tovagliola. Anche senza bar, anche se ci sono pochi in pochi minuti. Delusione generale.

Questo è un controllo personale in hotel. Il personale dell'hotel vi dà tutte le istruzioni per ottenere la chiave. Ho avuto fortuna di arrivare alle 3:00 e incontro la persona responsabile dell'hotel. Mi ha spiegato tutto. Durante l'estate se aprite la finestra, l'AC smette di funzionare. Quindi basta stare con le finestre chiuse o sentire il calore con le finestre aperte. Il colazione era ok. Le crepe erano così grandi per 1 persona. L'omelette era anche buona dimensione. La stanza è grande. C'è una scatola di sicurezza e un frigorifero. Parliamo delle cose cattive: dovete andare in camera vostra e portare la valigia a volte al terzo piano. Il bagno era grande, ma aveva un forte odore. Il sapone per le mani era così forte. Molto forte odore. Perché usate quel sapone? È necessario cambiare questo (solo dirlo ...) . C'è un bar al primo piano che appartiene all'hotel. C'è stato un match di calcio e una persona si è girata sul volume della TV così alto alle 11 pm. Ho dovuto scendere per dire al personale che dovevo dormire. Costa un alloggio, ma cosa si aspetta da Split?

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Amphora from December 31, 2025 to January 3, 2026, and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, we were warmly and professionally welcomed at check-in, which made us feel immediately at ease. The room was very spotless, and the sea view was absolutely breathtaking — truly a dream. Everything was perfectly arranged and exactly as we had hoped. A special mention goes to the housekeeping staff, who were consistently friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The breakfast buffet deserves particular praise: it was one of the largest, most diverse, and highest-quality selections we have ever experienced. Due to how much we enjoyed our stay, we decided to extend it by one additional night, which was arranged quickly and without any issues. We can highly recommend Hotel Amphora and would happily return in the future.☺️

Great location, view was amazing and room was clean and nice furniture ! -Staff was very absent and you need a key to get in the hotel and in room. we forgot our key in our room and realised after dinner around 11pm and even though staff should be in hotel until 3am : no one was there . We had to contact by phone only but being Canadian we didn’t have a working phone . We almost slept outside. . We got help from neighbour restaurant. - staff supposed to start again at 7 am ; we left at 8 without checking out as again there was no one . - my daughter got her EarPods stolen in our room we could locate them with the Apple app and could see exactly where they were . Again no staff at all in hotel to tell them cleaning person stole. (We are SURE 100% they were stolen as they didn’t leave the room we never brought electronics with us anywhere and the location they were at was 7km away from hotel where we had never been. - they offer steaming service, I wanted to use it but they told my it took 1 week to fet my clothing back .. we were there for 4 days. Staff offered to bring a steamer to my room so I could do it myself . They never brought it… -there was a beautiful terrace on the 4th floor but we only found out about it on our last night . - we wanted to go to a beach and the staff said it was a 45 min walk and that’s only way to go. We walked . Finally when we got there .. we could have takes a trolley for 3euro …. We took it to come back. -
