Hotel con balcone a Spalato

This is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality. My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable: * Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector.This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant * In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient. Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

Mi piace davvero stare qui. La posizione è perfetta per me. Come persona di grande spiaggia, l'hotel è vicino a Bacvice Beach, è come un passo 8-minute. E è come 13-minute camminare al Palazzo Diocletian e il pier per il mio viaggio in barca. Il proprietario ha anche raccomandato alcuni buoni ristoranti per noi di esplorare e ci ha sempre chiesto se abbiamo bisogno di suggerimenti a Split. Sono davvero utili!! La stanza è anche molto pulita e mi piace il fatto che molte tole sono fornite nella stanza. Inoltre, quando ho detto al proprietario che andremmo a controllare alle 10 del giorno prima di controllare, il mio amico ha subito una diarrea e si è schiacciato in mattinata, il proprietario era così bello che ci ha permesso di controllare alle 11 invece!

Tony and Antonio were the perfect hosts. The room was spacious. The ensuite was as well. The accommodations location was perfect for me. It was near the train station the bus station the ferries the restaurant the sightseeing the open markets and also pharmacies. I cannot fault the room the location nor the superbly attentive lovely ladies in the breakfast room who made me probably the yummiest omelette I’ve had in a long time. Anyone travelling this accommodation is five star at probably what I would say a three star price Tony and Antonio are the best 

We were so happy to stay in this lovely apartment. It was beautifully decorated and had such a charming atmosphere. Although it's located a little uphill from the Old Town, the location was excellent. The shower room was spotless, and the apartment was equipped with air conditioning, so we were able to sleep comfortably at night. On the day of our arrival, we ended up checking in a little later than planned because our flight was delayed. We let the host know, and they replied very quickly, which gave us great peace of mind. If we ever visit Split again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality!

Non lontano dai punti di attrazione del gioco di diritto della vecchia città, la strada può essere raggiunta, è più conveniente.La stanza è pulita e igienica, e l'acqua è consegnata. L'unica cosa che deve essere notata è che ricordate il numero della stanza, altrimenti, guardate la carta, è facile riconoscere che è sbagliato. Potrebbe non essere familiare con i numeri dell'Europa, riconoscere quattro, sette e nove, non entrare nella stanza, tornare alla reception per chiedere il numero della stanza, sorridere.

Excellent location right in the centre of great restaurants and the tourism hotspots. The room and bathtub are great. Good wifi and television box for plenty of viewing options. Rooftop garden/outdoor area is amazing at sunset (see attached photos). A couple of things to prepare yourself for which are out of the control of the hotel owners: there are 90 steps to the floor where the rooms are so would not recommend if you are physically challenged, and the restaurants in the square do have music till quite late which is audible in the rooms so light sleepers may like to try ear plugs. Sound did not bother us and the walk up the stairs was good for our health! The whole of the city has bell ringing at various times during the day (7am, Midday, 8pm) No need to set an alarm to wake up in the morning!

Location was good as not far from the main train and bus station. Good communication beforehand from the manager asking me when I would be arriving and then providing details of the apartment and that it would be open with the key inside, so all worked well there. For a self catering style apartment no cooking facilities not a problem just thought there might be some, fridge, crockery and kettle in the room which were all good. Plenty of towels and bedding left for my stay. One thing was there was no communication about how to check out.

Pro - molto vicino alla Porta d'oro e facile da trovare. Check in è semplice. La stanza è al primo piano sopra il pavimento, quindi non è stata la cosa più difficile da sollevare i bagagli. Con - (1) la camera reale non sembra niente come le foto online. Le foto online (prese con la moda di lente ampia) mostrano la camera molto più grande e luminosa, mentre la camera è in realtà molto piccola e relativamente poco luminosa. Per una, il letto è letteralmente due passi dalla porta, e ci sforzavamo di trovare spazio per aprire i bagagli. (2) Uno dei letti nella stanza è in realtà un letto da divano, ma la proprietà non lo ha dichiarato quando abbiamo prenotato. Abbiamo passato molto tempo cercando di prenotare posti che non usano letti da divano, ma letti reali, quindi non possiamo aiutare, ma sentirci sbagliati e mal rappresentati. (3) C'è un po' di rumore. La proprietà è vicino alla strada e vicino a un pub con alcuni giovani raffinati a volte. (4) Le strutture sono minime. Ci sono solo una sedia, e la tavola è molto piccola. Tutto il resto è fondamentale. Niente di lusso su di esso nonostante il suo nome e le foto. (5) Non c'è ascensore alla proprietà. Non avremmo scelto questa proprietà se avessimo avuto una seconda possibilità.

La stanza non ha vista sul mare. Non è come un hotel, più come una villa, la sicurezza non è molto alta, perché ha 2 entrate. L'ingresso dalla piscina, chiunque può accedere senza problemi. La piscina era piuttosto sporca, ha un sacco di bug fluttuanti, e anche non è stato regolarmente pulito dal personale. Ha molti ristoranti vicino, e la qualità e il prezzo sono migliori di quelle pasti turistiche nella vecchia città. Il primo giorno è stato rotto, il secondo giorno ci hanno informato che è stato fissato, ma ha ancora un po' di problemi di sgorgatura. Credo che la Croazia non abbia una regolamentazione per il controllo a tempo determinato dell'ascensore, poiché non ha alcun certificato all'interno o all'esterno dell'ascensore. Se l'hotel mostrasse 3 stelle e il prezzo fosse più basso. Il lato destro del balcone ha un grande campo da tennis al livello 2nd-floor, è molto vicino, ed è piuttosto fastidioso che le persone possano guardare facilmente. La suite non vale quattro stelle, la spazzatura è super vecchia, ha alcune tinture su di essa. La chiusura della porta frontale sembra nuova, è sicura, ma alcune installazioni elettriche non sono state installate correttamente, sembra che si possa tirarle facilmente fuori. La casella di sicurezza elettrica non funziona con la password, l'hotel ha lasciato una chiave per l'uso. Il colazione è ben gestito per gli ospiti con una visita precoce, possono organizzare la scatola di colazione con 1 frutta, 3 pane e 1 yogurt alle 06:00-07:00.

Great location, view was amazing and room was clean and nice furniture ! -Staff was very absent and you need a key to get in the hotel and in room. we forgot our key in our room and realised after dinner around 11pm and even though staff should be in hotel until 3am : no one was there . We had to contact by phone only but being Canadian we didn’t have a working phone . We almost slept outside. . We got help from neighbour restaurant. - staff supposed to start again at 7 am ; we left at 8 without checking out as again there was no one . - my daughter got her EarPods stolen in our room we could locate them with the Apple app and could see exactly where they were . Again no staff at all in hotel to tell them cleaning person stole. (We are SURE 100% they were stolen as they didn’t leave the room we never brought electronics with us anywhere and the location they were at was 7km away from hotel where we had never been. - they offer steaming service, I wanted to use it but they told my it took 1 week to fet my clothing back .. we were there for 4 days. Staff offered to bring a steamer to my room so I could do it myself . They never brought it… -there was a beautiful terrace on the 4th floor but we only found out about it on our last night . - we wanted to go to a beach and the staff said it was a 45 min walk and that’s only way to go. We walked . Finally when we got there .. we could have takes a trolley for 3euro …. We took it to come back. -
