Hotel con colazione a Nanchino

La posizione del B&B è eccezionale; sia Laomendong che il Tempio di Confucio (Fuzi Miao) sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. Nelle immediate vicinanze c'è anche il Museo delle Mura della Città. Il servizio è discreto, anche se sarebbe stato molto apprezzato un aiuto con i bagagli durante il trasferimento. La pulizia della camera è buona, e la stanza è spaziosa e luminosa. La colazione, sebbene non abbondante, si distingue per la sua pulizia, il buon sapore e la freschezza, con una quantità giusta per non sprecare nulla, il che è un punto a favore. Xiao Mai è molto docile e i bambini l'hanno adorata. Nel complesso, sono molto soddisfatto. La prossima volta che sarò in zona, tornerò sicuramente qui. Consigliatissimo!

Sto viaggiando a Nanchino. Vorrei condividere la mia esperienza. I vantaggi di questo hotel sono: 1. È vicino all'ingresso della metropolitana. Ci vogliono circa otto-dieci minuti a piedi senza dover attraversare la strada. La stazione di Xinjiekou è vicina a tutte le principali attrazioni. 2. Ci sono moltissimi centri commerciali nelle vicinanze, tra cui Deji, Golden Eagle, New Department Store, Central, Golden Wheel, Friendship e marchi alimentari di lusso. 3. L'hotel è un edificio separato. L'ascensore sale al piano superiore con una tessera e non c'è attesa. L'ascensore è veloce e il robot per la consegna del cibo lo consegna rapidamente in camera, il che è molto comodo. 4. L'hotel ha buone recensioni per l'accettazione dei pacchi. Prima del mio viaggio, ho ordinato 15 pacchi e li ho spediti all'hotel. La reception li ha ricevuti tutti. Più tardi, hanno trovato due pacchi mancanti e il robot li ha consegnati. Uno era in ritardo, quindi la reception ha gentilmente rifiutato e lo ha restituito. Mi hanno anche dato dei souvenir di cioccolato al momento del check-in e della frutta al momento del check-out. Mi hanno persino dato dei timbri nella hall. 5: La pulizia della camera era abbastanza buona. Ci sono dei lavori in corso nelle vicinanze, ma il rumore non è forte. Ho prenotato una suite per 2 notti al giardino di Marriott la notte prima di venire da Xi'an perché volevo visitare Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng e altri luoghi turistici vicino. La posizione del giardino non è male, è proprio accanto alla stazione di metro Hedingqiao, e molti cabine alimentari e negozi di comodità sono solo in basso. Il personale di accoglienza è carino e utile e può parlare molto bene inglese, senza dubbio. Il peggiore era il concierge. Uno dei concierge ha giocato sul suo cellulare ogni momento. Ho preso Didi o il metro almeno quattro o cinque volte al giorno. Ogni volta che passo l'ingresso, suona sul suo cellulare. La parte più frustrante era quando ho ordinato di uscire dall'app. L'uomo di consegna ha detto di mettere la macchina sul concierge proprio accanto a quel tizio, ma qualcuno ha preso il mio pacchetto, e non l'ha notato. Sì, come potrebbe sapere se era preoccupato per il suo telefono?

I booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations. We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby. We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed. Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel. This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance. We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again. Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed. When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet. Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

Quando arriverai, trova Frankie: lavora qui e è assolutamente brillante, gentiluomo e conosciuto. Il posto è enorme e ci fa qualcosa per tutti, sia tu sia in famiglia. Però, i bambini di fine settimana sono troppo numerosi, quindi non si aspetta che le piscine siano belle e lussuose. Qualunque cosa, il prezzo è molto utile, e il servizio in camera è molto veloce quando hanno il personale di lingua inglese che prende la vostra chiamata. Le strutture sono grandi, la vista è semplicemente respiro, e i taxi locali e i camion didi possono facilmente entrare all'interno per cadere o prendere. Oh, e lo spettacolo della fonte è anche eccezionale!

Posizione eccellente dell'hotel, sia l'uscita 2 che l'uscita 7 della linea 3 della metropolitana (stazione Fuzimiao) sono comode. Dalla finestra della camera assegnataci potevamo vedere il Tempio di Confucio. Siamo andati al Festival delle Lanterne di Bailuzhou e a Laomendong a piedi, ed è stato molto comodo tornare direttamente in hotel a riposare dopo aver ammirato le luci e passeggiato. Anche la camera era pulita, il personale di servizio puliva e svuotava i rifiuti ogni pomeriggio. Se avevamo bisogno di qualcosa, rispondevano prontamente ai messaggi e risolvevano il problema immediatamente. Anche la consegna dei pasti tramite robot era estremamente comoda. Ottimo 👍👍👍

Our trip to Nanjing left us with beautiful memories and a very positive impression. Largely attributable to the very pleasant stay at Swisstouches Hotel. We stayed in the suite from end May to early June. 1. Very clean and comfortable suite - About one of the most comfortable rooms I have had stayed in recent memory. Spacious, clean, well - kept, well - maintained. Reasonably priced. Whole place smelled good, no hint of musky odour, no tobacco smell, children had zero issue with allergy. Sound proofing was great. I do wish the kitchenette is better equipped with microwave oven, utensils and simple crockery. Not that we cook in the room, but I guess it is more convenient to have simple utensils available in the kitchenette. 2. Courteous, attentive and responsive service - Reception was courteous, patient and reliable. Restaurant staff were obliging and prompt (requests were attended to promptly, room cleaning staff were responsible and detailed. (I accidentally left the Do-Not-Disturb sign on, they left a note reminding me about that, and took the initiative to return in the evening to clean up the room - all without any request from me. I thought of just going letting the room cleaning pass for 1 day). Such conscientious work attitude is hard to come by. 3. Food was hygienic and ample - The buffet breakfast was amply stocked and spread was decent. Not an emperor's feast, but way enough to surpass expectations for most people. 4. Location was decent, safe - The hotel is situated in the outskirts of Nanjing city. So you get the tranquil, but you wont have the hustle and bustle. There are convenience stores and eateries well within a stone's throw. Ride hailing taxis are easily available too. But if you are expecting to walk to the tourist spots, you will have to stay in the heart of the city. I personally prefer a location like Swisstouches' . 5. Facilities - I only tried the swimming pool and gym. Very decent. Good enough for exercise and workouts during travel. Gym was well equipped, albeit a little messy. But that's more of gym users rather than the set-up. Swimming pool was well maintained and monitored at all times. Great for lane swimming. All in all, fantastic stay. Go back again? Big Yes.

Five-Day Stay in Nanjing Check-in Experience We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Accommodation We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit: Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property. RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games. **Ratings** Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities. Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days. **Things to Consider** It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center. If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include: - ATV rides - Fishing area - Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter) - Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry) - Train ride (30 RMB) The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car. **Challenges We Faced** My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available. However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

Questo soggiorno ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative! Dal drink di benvenuto offerto dalla reception all'arrivo ai dettagli curatissimi, come i cavi di ricarica e l'aromaterapia in camera, l'attenzione ai dettagli era evidente ovunque. La camera godeva di un'eccellente luce naturale, il bagno con doccia e WC separati era impeccabile e persino i prodotti da bagno erano di alta qualità. La sorpresa più grande è stata la colazione, che offriva un'ampia varietà di opzioni cinesi e occidentali, e lo chef ha persino preparato delle omelette fresche dal sapore delizioso. Verso la fine del mio soggiorno, ho dimenticato accidentalmente qualcosa e, dopo aver contattato l'hotel, mi hanno subito aiutato a restituirlo. Il servizio è stato davvero impeccabile. La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, proprio all'ingresso della zona panoramica del Tempio di Confucio. Lo consiglio vivamente sia ai viaggiatori d'affari che ai turisti!

L'hotel si trova proprio accanto al fiume Qinhuai, vicinissimo al Tempio di Confucio, al Museo degli Esami Imperiali e al Festival delle Lanterne di Bailuzhou. Essendo nel cuore della zona turistica, ho trovato un po' di traffico per raggiungere l'hotel in taxi dall'aeroporto la mattina, ed è stato ancora più difficile trovare un taxi per tornare dal Palazzo Presidenziale la sera, quindi ho dovuto prendere la metropolitana. La passeggiata non era troppo lunga, ma a causa del lockdown, delle restrizioni e della folla, è stata molto lenta. Durante il Festival di Primavera, il personale era esausto e la pulizia era nella media. Il cibo all'interno dell'area panoramica era mediocre e molto caro. Il vantaggio è che si può uscire più tardi; il panorama è proprio sotto, con meno gente, ma comunque vivace e bello. Uscire la mattina presto offre un'esperienza completamente diversa.
