Hotel 2 stelle a Nanchino

Ottima posizione! C'è un McDonald's proprio sotto e la maggior parte delle attrazioni turistiche sono facilmente raggiungibili. Sulla strada per la stazione della metropolitana si passa davanti ad 'Xu Ayi', dove c'è sempre una lunga coda. Ci sono tantissime bici a noleggio proprio sotto l'hotel, rendendo super comodo raggiungere la metro in bici. Anche ordinare cibo da asporto è semplicissimo. Il personale è molto cordiale e l'ambiente è pulito e igienico. Tuttavia, quando ho soggiornato, su quattro servizi igienici alla turca, tre avevano un avviso che diceva che si bloccavano facilmente. Inoltre, uno dei due rotoli di carta igienica vicino al lavandino era spesso rotto e non veniva sostituito tempestivamente.

La camera era molto bella, tutto era pulito e c'erano molte strutture, come scarpe, toletti, tovaglie, ecc. Ci era un sacco di spazio, tra cui un bagno con doccia e lavatrice, con detergente. Nella sala soggiorno/sala extra, c'era un ufficio con un kit di caligrafia e una piccola cucina funzionale. In quella altra stanza c'era anche un piccolo spazio ispirato giapponese con un set di tè e alcune foglie di tè. I proprietari ci hanno fornito alcuni trattamenti dolci, che erano molto carini. La posizione non è molto accurata, ma la signora dell'hotel è venuta a prenderci per la strada e siamo stati molto impressionati e soddisfatti di questo. In generale, consiglio di prenotare questa stanza per un viaggio a Nanjing, sicuramente torneremo qualche giorno ☺️

I was initially asked by the hotel to leave a five-star review, but after my full stay I can’t do so in good conscience, and I have since adjusted my rating based on the second half of my booking. This was a two-part stay (two separate bookings of five days each), and while there are genuinely strong positives, the overall experience was significantly affected by ongoing service and cleanliness issues. There are still clear strengths to highlight. The location is excellent—quiet, safe, and surrounded by good restaurants, convenience stores, and a pleasant park nearby. The rooms are also very well designed: spacious, comfortable, and equipped with useful amenities such as a washing machine. The layout and overall setup make it a very livable space. The staff were, for the most part, kind and helpful. One staff member in particular was consistently warm and welcoming. When issues were raised, the team did attempt to respond professionally, and I do appreciate that some solutions were offered, including a discounted rate for a future stay. However, there were repeated concerns that affected my experience, particularly during the second half of my stay. Cleanliness remained a consistent issue. Even after rooms were serviced, dust accumulated very quickly—so much so that items like my laptop would be visibly covered overnight. This raises concerns about the overall level of cleanliness and ventilation. In addition, housekeeping services felt inconsistent. On multiple occasions I had to specifically request basic essentials such as bottled water and fresh towels, rather than these being proactively restocked daily as would normally be expected in this type of accommodation. Service consistency also varied. Some days staff would check in or ask whether I needed room cleaning, while on other days there was no such follow-up at all. This lack of routine made the experience feel unpredictable for a stay of this length. There were also concerns regarding pricing and communication during an attempted extension of my stay. I had initially paid approximately 268 rand per night (already at a discounted rate). When I asked to extend for one additional night during the May Day holiday period, I was quoted around 800 rand. While I understand that rates fluctuate during peak demand, this felt inconsistent given the earlier discount offered due to the significant issues experienced in the first rooms. The handling of this request also felt quite rigid initially, although the pricing discussion changed once I indicated I would be leaving a review. By that point, however, I had already made alternative arrangements in another city. I also noticed a change in overall tone and attentiveness from staff following my initial complaints, particularly on the day I was trying to extend my stay. In that instance, even basic housekeeping services were not offered, which contributed to a feeling of inconsistency in service. Ultimately, I think this hotel has strong potential. The location, room design, and general setup are genuinely excellent, and there are staff members who are clearly committed and welcoming. However, the inconsistency in cleanliness standards, basic housekeeping expectations, and service delivery means I cannot recommend it as a reliably high-quality stay at this stage. With more consistent attention to cleanliness and service fundamentals, this could be an excellent hotel experience—but in its current state, it falls short of that standard.

La velocità del check-in alla reception è stata impressionante; anche durante l'alta stagione, tutte le formalità sono state completate in meno di cinque minuti. La risposta del servizio in camera è stata ancora più rapida: quando ho chiesto un cuscino extra alle nove di sera, è stato consegnato alla mia porta in meno di dieci minuti. La cosa che mi ha sorpreso di più è stata scoprire la mattina seguente che gli occhiali che avevo dimenticato in camera erano stati puliti con cura dal personale e posizionati sul comodino. Questi dettagli riflettono l'estrema ricerca della qualità del servizio da parte dell'hotel.

La stanza è piuttosto piccola. Una volta entrati, sul letto c'è spazio appena per una valigia. Il corridoio è piuttosto stretto, ma è molto pulito. Anche se piccolo, ha tutto. Ha tutto. Il servizio è molto buono e anche la posizione è molto buona. Si trova molto vicino al Tempio di Confucio di Xinjiekou e dista solo 500 metri dall'ingresso della metropolitana. Ho prenotato una stanza singola, adatta alle mie esigenze. Nel complesso sono rimasto abbastanza soddisfatto delle due notti trascorse lì. L'unico problema era che l'insonorizzazione era un po' scarsa e sentivo le persone che parlavano alla reception. Non ho scattato foto, ma quelle nella sezione commenti sono piuttosto reali.

Questa esperienza di soggiorno è particolarmente buona.Lo spazio della stanza è vasto, la luce è ben ventilata, la qualità dei prodotti di lavaggio è on-line e l'approvvigionamento di acqua calda è stabile.La reception gestisce l'alloggio in modo efficiente e il servizio è intimido.L'ambiente circostante è tranquillo, il riposo notturno non è perturbato, è un soggiorno molto piacevole.

Posizione: molto vicino alla stazione della metropolitana Jimingsi. Esci dall'uscita 6 e cammina lungo il sentiero per un po'. Questo tratto di strada è alla periferia della Southeast University. Ci sono molti studenti universitari che vanno e vengono e ci sono anche molti negozi di alimentari, il che è molto conveniente. Servizi: La reception ha organizzato per me la stanza più grande tra quelle disponibili. Tutte le strutture sono abbastanza nuove. La cosa sorprendente è che, ad eccezione dell'interruttore sul comodino, tutti gli altri interruttori sono sulla porta, comprese le due luci del bagno e l'interruttore per l'aspiratore. Non so se ci sia un problema di progettazione del cablaggio durante il bagno decorazione. Le tende non sono automatiche e necessitano di essere tirate manualmente. Altri possono essere visti nelle immagini. Il proiettore è sopra la finestra. L'interruttore del proiettore sarà acceso di notte. Non so come spegnerlo, ma non influisce sul mio sonno, quindi lo ignoro. Igiene: voglio lamentarmi dell'igiene. Dai un'occhiata alla nona foto e alla decima foto che ho pubblicato. L'immagine 9 mostra il bagno con doccia, dove i capelli dell'ospite precedente non sono stati puliti. L'immagine 10 mostra una macchia sul tavolo. Pensavo che non potesse essere cancellata, ma dopo aver bagnato un tovagliolo di carta con acqua, ho scoperto che poteva essere cancellata. Dimostra che la pulizia non è attenta quando si pulisce la stanza. Spero che l'azienda possa rafforzare questo aspetto. Ambiente: 1. Non ci sono problemi con il rumore. Ho prenotato una camera con finestra. Al piano inferiore dell'hotel c'è un asilo nido con finestra. I bambini sono rumorosi quando vanno a scuola alle 4 o alle 5 del pomeriggio. Non ho sentito alcun rumore dai bambini la mattina. 2. Non ci sono problemi con l'odore. Anch'io soffro di rinite, quindi sono più sensibile agli odori. Non ho sentito fumo o altri odori quando sono entrato nella stanza. Si dice che quando si pulisce la stanza ogni giorno, le finestre siano aperte per la ventilazione, il che è molto positivo. Ma di notte c'è un po' di odore di fumo nel bagno. Immagino che possa essere perché il loro canale di scarico è un canale, quindi se non c'è una ventola di scarico nella mia stanza, ci sarà un po' di odore di fumo acceso l'aspiratore e tutto andava bene. Servizio: il servizio offerto dalla ragazza della reception Xiaorou è molto buono. Ogni volta che chiedi aiuto, ti verrà data una soluzione. Una tazza di caffè a scelta: non l’ho visto, me ne sono completamente dimenticato, non l’ho chiesto e nemmeno il personale dell’hotel ne ha parlato. Per inciso, ho visto una bancarella di frutta sulla strada per l'hotel e ho comprato alcuni cachi. Nota che questi cachi hanno la buccia spessa, meno succo e non sono dolci. Amici che sono stati lì di recente. tieni presente che non comprare, non comprare, non comprare.

There is a language barrier with most of the staff, but it's nothing a little patience, on both ends, and a translator can't fix. I was helped to my room with my bags. I personally enjoyed the staff and especially one of the cleaning ladies. She was truly a joy to see every day and seemed like she genuinely liked seeing me. They helped when my food order had issues, twice. I was helped getting I was running late for my train on check-out morning. ROOMS/FACILITIES: Comfortable, clean and curtain for the beds. I the rooms are reasonably spacious. The average person follows the general quiet in the rooms so you can sleep peacefully any time you want. The blanket is thick, some beds have extra little hooks. (Would be nice if they added them for all beds) Pillows are decent, towel and locker provided. Beds have North American & Chinese style plugs. The entire outlet system of the building seems to be that way. AMENITIES/GOOD TO KNOW Laundry detergent, toothbrush/toothpaste individually wrapped units and earplugs provided at no cost. Towel/bed sheet change upon request is offered if stay is 3+ days. The main lobby toilets are used buy restaurants guests from next door. The is security at night (not personally for the hostel, for the alley) Private homes are across the way so keep the volume low to quiet after 10pm. OVERALL/PERSONAL THOUGHTS ” I would recommend staying here for a short or long period. Excellent valut for dollars. I felt very welcomed, comfortable & overall relaxed. My only real complaint is the lack of fridge,microwave and a sink area. As a budget traveler it can get costly having to order or go out for every meal is super inconvenient. To be fair, you can ask for your items to be placed in the staff fridge at the bar. The downside is having to wait and ask for staff to get it for me. This was super frustrating when I wanted my food and had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to finally be able to do it. Not to mention the general inconvenience of not being able to go to a fridge at will. Even though there's a laundry area upstairs, many people will do laundry in the sinks leaving the bathroom floors constantly wet and countertops soaked. Not management's fault but could possibly be addressed in the rules. There are days where a gentleman will come sit outside the hostel or the general alley area with Barky McBarkerson his incredibly annoying dog that's constantly barking at everyone and everything. When they're directly on the property hanging out infront don't even think of enjoying the fresh air peacefully . I think there's a way for management to address bothersome behavior to their guest. IMO if management could somehow provide a common fridge and a microwave, they would be close to top tier hostel all things considered. Review based on multiple stays. Enjoy

Cleaning service should be improved. When you arrive in the room it is clear that they do not deep clean between one client and the other, cause the floors are not clean, there is dust, spider webs and there is heavy dirt in the corners of the room and behind the bathroom. Prp: the bed of the room I got was very comfy and soft. The room had a closet to store my clothes, and a big desk that was very convenient for me. The area around the building is very lively with a lot of restaurants and it's quite near the subway and train station (walking distance around 10-15 min). Cons:They should decide if they want you to provide an apartment or hotel service, they are not very clear what their aim is since they don't provide hotel service for short stays (like daily cleaning, they only take the rubbish but don't cleam bathroom and floors) but not even apartment service for longer stays (such as dish soap or a pot to cook, or things to clean the apartment on your own). They provide kitchen and washing machine with no cleaning products or kitchen appliances, not even soap to wash the mugs they provide (that were dirty). The people who work at the reception are friendly but completely disorganised. The first day I was locked out three times from my room cause they could not provide me with a proper keycode and finally gave me a key which I had to sit on the floor to open each time cause it was the emergency key of the electronic dial thing that there is on the door. One day I came back and the cleaning lady took out my electricity card even if I had food in the fridge that could have gone bad. They said that I should not use electricity and the A/C too much otherwise I should have paid more. They never stated this nor on the website or in person. After not providing me with good service, theh repeatedly asked me to give them good reviews and send them a screenshot of a 5 stars review, instead of asking me how to improve their service. Overall, when I booked the price was worth it but I would not book it again now that the price is more expensive.
