Hotel con bar a Nanchino

Ho scelto questo hotel per caso. È in una posizione molto comoda, il che rende lo shopping ancora più facile. È proprio accanto al Tempio di Confucio e a Laomendong, e vicino a Sanqibaxiang. C'è un negozio di snack al piano inferiore, che ho apprezzato molto. La hall è al secondo piano e il personale è stato molto cordiale e accogliente. Sono stati molto cordiali per un turista come me, e ho sentito il calore della città. Dopo il check-in e l'ingresso in camera, sono rimasto assolutamente soddisfatto. La stanza aveva colori caldi, il bagno era pulito e igienico e la camera era molto confortevole nel complesso. C'era anche un piccolo frigorifero. 👍🏻 Abbiamo ricevuto frutta in omaggio ogni giorno. Soprattutto, il personale della reception chiedeva sempre se c'erano reclami e come fosse la camera. 👍🏻 Non mi sarei mai aspettato che il servizio di Nanchino fosse così completo. Personalmente, se dovessi tornare a Nanchino, sceglierei di nuovo questo hotel.

Abbiamo avuto grandi aspettative per questo hotel, sia per la sua posizione che per il modo in cui ha guardato le foto. Infatti, l'abbiamo prenotato solo pochi giorni prima di arrivare. La posizione è davvero eccellente e molto affascinante, ma abbiamo vissuto diverse questioni durante il nostro soggiorno. Anche se la stanza era spaziosa, era sul primo piano, allo stesso livello della zona di ricezione e colazione, quindi era molto rumoroso. Altri ospiti erano anche molto inconsiderati, con le persone che chiamano le porte a tutte le ore e parlano al di fuori a tardi della notte. I letti erano molto confortevoli, ma la pulizia era solo superficiale. In bagno, abbiamo trovato falsi occhi appesi alla doccia, e sicuramente non erano minacci, non saprei nemmeno come applicarli. Nottiamo questo solo la notte prima di partire, il che significa che il bagno non era pulito correttamente né all'arrivo, né durante il nostro soggiorno. Un altro sfondo era la sala colazione. Era in una stanza molto piccola, e non molto diversa per i gusti occidentali, soprattutto rispetto alle opzioni cinesi. Per esempio, lo yogurt sarebbe scaduto e non era mai stato riempito. Non c'era spazio sufficiente per tutti gli ospiti, quindi alcune persone si sono fermate a mangiare sui divano nella zona di accoglienza. Abbiamo dovuto condividere una tavola ogni giorno con alcune gentili donne cinesi.Anche la pulizia nella zona del colazione non era sufficiente, e il personale non era molto amichevole o utile. Sii preparata con molta pazienza e un buon traduttore, come anche alla ricezione non parlano inglese, tranne per un dipendente che ci siamo incontrati solo all'arrivo. Non lo consiglierei.

Questo hotel è idylico e si rilassa. Chiunque abbia progettato queste camere dovrebbe vincere un premio. E' uno dei più incredibili interni che abbia mai visto per una stanza. E' assolutamente magnifico. Il servizio è piuttosto buono. C'erano problemi minori con la comunicazione al di fuori del desk, perché ho pagato un deposito sull'app e mi hanno pagato un altro deposito lì. E poi, quando ho fatto la prenotazione, c'era un altro conto. Ma alla fine abbiamo cancellato. Era solo un po' poco chiaro dal lato dell'app. La vista, ho chiesto una bella vista. Questa era una cosa che ho chiesto, ma non so se fossero completamente prenotate. La vista che ho avuto non era grande. Ho appena visto le auto arrivare e andare tutto il tempo. Quindi avrei voluto un'altra visione se fosse possibile. Il cibo era molto scarso. Non sono andato fuori. Ho ordinato due camere e era molto costoso. Ho pagato 68 Yuan cinesi o RMB per le ave e 68 per una tazza di tè. Le avevano molto, molto acqua. Non potevo mangiarla perché quel gran latte non sarebbe stato grande. Il tè era di base. Ho ordinato una salata la notte precedente. Era circa 38 RMB. Non troppo costoso, ma non aveva vestiti. Quindi la cena, andrò a mangiare. Non preoccuparti di ordinare nella stanza. Quindi, tutto quello che diceva, la stanza era bella. Era pulita e sicuramente rilassante. Qualcuna signora, ho chiesto un cavo HDMI e lei l'ha portata per me. Quindi il servizio non è male neanche. Quindi l'unica cosa che posso dire è che non ricevo la consegna di spazio.

This is the first time I've had an absolutely 10/10 experience with any hotel. This particular hotel also outranks every other Marriott I've ever stayed at. I genuinely could not think of a single negative point. I was only in Nanjing for 2 nights, in town for a meeting, and I'm so glad I chose to stay here. Firstly, the room is exactly as advertised. Marriott hotels always have the fluffiest pillows, but this particular hotel had the most HEAVENLY pillows. The bed was so comfy that I ended up postponing my day plans just so I could sleep in! I didn't realise how desperately I needed that rest and recuperation, and am glad I chose to stay here and get what I needed. Also, this hotel does not skimp on the water - most hotels will only give you 2 tiny bottles a day, which if it's blazing hot outside, can be frustrating, especially if you want to boil water for tea/coffee in the morning. This hotel provides 4-5 complimentary bottles of water per day. In many ways, I felt like they anticipated what I'd need and would provide it before I even had the chance to ask. There is also an ironing board stowed in the room, which for me was a lifesaver as I had an important meeting. As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is indeed fantastic. I was so relieved to find that after a long train journey, I only needed to hop on the subway for 1 stop - I didn't even need to exit the building, as the hotel is located inside the mall connected to the subway station. The breakfast spread is not too bad either, with the highlight for me being the espresso machines. When I tell you this machine delivers the most divine coffee in 10 seconds, I am not kidding. It was one of my favourite things and a great way to kickstart a busy day. At check-in, the reception staff ensured they gave me all the info I needed. I noticed this is often skipped at other hotels as staff are shy or reluctant to speak in English, which results in foreign guests missing out on relevant info or complimentary perks - but the Marriott team refused to let language be an obstacle. I was glad to learn free snacks and coffee were available in the executive lounge each evening. While I was there, the executive lounge manager - I think her name is Sheila, apologies if I've gotten this wrong - took the time to introduce herself and ask if I needed anything. She was so polite and genuinely seemed to want to improve the experience for guests. To me, these small touches are what set a service-oriented luxury hotel apart from others. On my first night, I'd arrived pretty exhausted after having sat on a delayed train for hours, and I wanted to order takeaway as I didn't have the energy to go out. They have ******* lockers positioned right at the hotel entrance, which you can unlock with your phone and collect your deliveries. Being a foreigner who doesn't understand Chinese very well, I wasn't sure how to navigate this, but the reception staff went out of their way to help me, ensuring they stayed with me until I'd collected my parcel - it was not at all necessary for them to help me so much, but they did, and I'm very grateful for that :) I spent the entire month traveling in China and so, looking back, am able to compare all of the hotels and experiences from this trip. This particular hotel ranks 10/10 for me not only because of the location, but also because of the kindness and professionalism of staff. Things can sometimes be confusing or overwhelming for foreigners, and this was the only hotel where staff didn't hesitate to rush in and offer to help, no matter how small the issue. Even the gentleman at the coffee bar in the lobby was so kind and polite - and might I add, everyone at this hotel speaks English, so they really do cater to an international crowd. Housekeeping staff too were very sweet, always greeting you and asking if you needed extra bottles of water. Thank you for a relaxing, delightful stay! I hope to come again and stay longer next time.

Sono arrivato all'aeroporto di Lukou a tarda notte e l'hotel è proprio nel terminal, il che è stato comodo e veloce. La vista era eccezionale, con una hall e un atrio unici. Dalla mia camera potevo ammirare il piazzale degli aerei. Il check-in e il check-out sono stati gestiti con professionalità ed efficienza. L'unico piccolo inconveniente è che non ho trovato prese USB in camera.😅

Era l'ennesima volta che soggiornavo al Ritz-Carlton e non mi aspettavo che fosse così spiacevole. Parliamo prima dei comfort. L'arredamento è in stile Ritz, con un'atmosfera sobria e da hotel di lusso, giustificata dal prezzo, ma è ancora un po' indietro rispetto al Ritz di Tianjin, quindi gli do un 4. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, era piuttosto nella media, soddisfacente, ma non aspettatevi troppo. La varietà è limitata, non così ampia come al Ritz di Tianjin o Sanya, e il sapore era semplicemente nella media, molto ordinario. Il caffè era scadente, il personale di servizio era scarso e il servizio era inefficiente. Ho chiesto alla cameriera di riempirmi di tè, ma mi ha riempito solo una delle tre tazze vuote e poi si è allontanata. Non ho nemmeno osato chiamarla per un'altra, quindi ho dovuto chiamare un'altra cameriera disponibile. Ma ogni cameriera era uguale: mi ha versato solo una tazza quando le ho chiesto di riempirla, ignorando l'altra tazza vuota. Sigh, non voglio proprio dirlo. È così che ti insegna la tua azienda? Ogni cameriera del ristorante è stata inutile, con una maschera di fredda cortesia, priva di sincerità o calore. Tre colazioni consecutive sono state davvero deludenti. Il servizio concierge nella hall era leggermente migliore. Alcuni sorridevano, altri no. Non c'era alcun entusiasmo, forse solo un finto sorriso professionale. La consapevolezza del servizio e l'atteggiamento professionale degli uomini alla porta del primo piano erano leggermente migliori. Comunque, è difficile descrivere questo soggiorno, ahah. Un'altra cosa mi ha davvero irritato: mentre mi asciugavo i capelli, l'uscita dell'aria del phon ha bruciato il copripiumino e annerito l'inserto del piumone (la bruciatura era circolare, di 2 cm di diametro). L'hotel mi ha chiesto di pagare 780 yuan di risarcimento, ma mi hanno detto che era il prezzo di fabbrica più basso al momento dell'acquisto. Ho chiesto loro di fornirmi prove concrete del prezzo, ma non me l'hanno ancora fatto. Al momento del check-out, mi hanno detratto 780 yuan dalla caparra. Se il Ritz-Carlton di Nanchino continua a operare in questo modo, la situazione non potrà che peggiorare. Temo che la vostra performance sarà in fondo alla classifica.

Five-Day Stay in Nanjing Check-in Experience We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Accommodation We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit: Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property. RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games. **Ratings** Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities. Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days. **Things to Consider** It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center. If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include: - ATV rides - Fishing area - Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter) - Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry) - Train ride (30 RMB) The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car. **Challenges We Faced** My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available. However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

This hostel changed the idea I had of a great hostel! SEE OTHER REVIEWS FOR COMPREHENSIVE UNDERSTANDING CHECK-IN/STAFF: Simple & easy. There is a language barrier with most of the staff, but it's nothing a little patience, on both ends, and a translator can't fix. I was helped to my room with my bags. I personally enjoyed the staff and especially one of the cleaning ladies. She was truly a joy to see every day and seemed like she genuinely liked seeing me. They helped when my food order had issues, twice. I was helped getting I was running late for my train on check-out morning. ROOMS/FACILITIES: Comfortable, clean and curtain for the beds. I the rooms are reasonably spacious. The average person follows the general quiet in the rooms so you can sleep peacefully any time you want. The blanket is thick, some beds have extra little hooks. (Would be nice if they added them for all beds) Pillows are decent, towel and locker provided. Beds have North American & Chinese style plugs. The entire outlet system of the building seems to be that way. AMENITIES/GOOD TO KNOW Laundry detergent, toothbrush/toothpaste individually wrapped units and earplugs provided at no cost. Towel/bed sheet change upon request is offered if stay is 3+ days. The main lobby toilets are used buy restaurants guests from next door. The is security at night (not personally for the hostel, for the alley) Private homes are across the way so keep the volume low to quiet after 10pm. OVERALL/PERSONAL THOUGHTS ” I would recommend staying here for a short or long period. Excellent valut for dollars. I felt very welcomed, comfortable & overall relaxed. My only real complaint is the lack of fridge,microwave and a sink area. As a budget traveler it can get costly having to order or go out for every meal is super inconvenient. To be fair, you can ask for your items to be placed in the staff fridge at the bar. The downside is having to wait and ask for staff to get it for me. This was super frustrating when I wanted my food and had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to finally be able to do it. Not to mention the general inconvenience of not being able to go to a fridge at will. Even though there's a laundry area upstairs, many people will do laundry in the sinks leaving the bathroom floors constantly wet and countertops soaked. Not management's fault but could possibly be addressed in the rules. There are days where a gentleman will come sit outside the hostel or the general alley area with Barky McBarkerson his incredibly annoying dog that's constantly barking at everyone and everything. When they're directly on the property hanging out infront don't even think of enjoying the fresh air peacefully . I think there's a way for management to address bothersome behavior to their guest. IMO if management could somehow provide a common fridge and a microwave, they would be close to top tier hostel all things considered. Review based on multiple stays. Enjoy

Cleaning service should be improved. When you arrive in the room it is clear that they do not deep clean between one client and the other, cause the floors are not clean, there is dust, spider webs and there is heavy dirt in the corners of the room and behind the bathroom. Prp: the bed of the room I got was very comfy and soft. The room had a closet to store my clothes, and a big desk that was very convenient for me. The area around the building is very lively with a lot of restaurants and it's quite near the subway and train station (walking distance around 10-15 min). Cons:They should decide if they want you to provide an apartment or hotel service, they are not very clear what their aim is since they don't provide hotel service for short stays (like daily cleaning, they only take the rubbish but don't cleam bathroom and floors) but not even apartment service for longer stays (such as dish soap or a pot to cook, or things to clean the apartment on your own). They provide kitchen and washing machine with no cleaning products or kitchen appliances, not even soap to wash the mugs they provide (that were dirty). The people who work at the reception are friendly but completely disorganised. The first day I was locked out three times from my room cause they could not provide me with a proper keycode and finally gave me a key which I had to sit on the floor to open each time cause it was the emergency key of the electronic dial thing that there is on the door. One day I came back and the cleaning lady took out my electricity card even if I had food in the fridge that could have gone bad. They said that I should not use electricity and the A/C too much otherwise I should have paid more. They never stated this nor on the website or in person. After not providing me with good service, theh repeatedly asked me to give them good reviews and send them a screenshot of a 5 stars review, instead of asking me how to improve their service. Overall, when I booked the price was worth it but I would not book it again now that the price is more expensive.
