Hotel con bar a New York

È stata un'ottima decisione scegliere questo hotel! Fin dal momento in cui ho messo piede nell'hotel, ho potuto constatare la meticolosità del servizio. La camera è arredata con stile, calda e confortevole, il letto è molto comodo e ho dormito bene la notte. Anche il servizio di ristorazione dell'hotel è ottimo: il cibo viene consegnato rapidamente e il sapore è buono. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo complessivo è molto alto, sceglierò di nuovo questo hotel quando andrò in futuro!

Quando a Brooklyn mi fermo sempre all'hotel Ace. È un lobby trendy e divertente con posti da sedere o lavorare. Grande servizio con camere moderne. Alcuni si trovano sulla statua della libertà. Near boutiques and restaurants. Very nice.

This hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there,and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-)  either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Le camere sono di buone dimensioni e dotate di tutti i comfort. Il ristorante in loco offre comode opzioni per cibo e bevande. Facile accesso alla Grand Central e alle linee della metropolitana. Ci tornerò!

Do 0 al servizio. La donna delle pulizie era gentile, ma il resto del personale era davvero pessimo. Innanzitutto, lasciatemi dare il mio verdetto: l'Indigo Hotel, proprio accanto, è in una posizione ancora migliore. È proprio di fronte alla stazione della metropolitana, a pochi passi (meno di un minuto). Sono passato davanti all'Indigo innumerevoli volte negli ultimi giorni e mi sono pentito di non aver prenotato. È anche più vicino alla Trinity Church, al Memoriale dell'11 settembre, al Toro di Bronzo e alla Statua della Libertà, e offre più opzioni di ristorazione. Ora, parliamo di ciò che manca a questo hotel, ed è per questo che gli ho dato un punteggio basso per i servizi: niente bollitore!!! Niente pantofole!!! Niente portaspazzolino. Capisco che non ci sia uno spazzolino da denti, ma io non ce l'ho. L'unico punto positivo è la bottiglia d'acqua minerale gratuita ogni giorno; basta chiedere alla reception. Stavo festeggiando il compleanno di mio figlio e ho inviato un'email all'hotel con una settimana di anticipo per chiedere se potevano fare un upgrade della camera o organizzare decorazioni per il compleanno. Non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta, nemmeno una settimana dopo. Mi hanno semplicemente ignorato. Ho contattato il servizio clienti di Ctrip e finalmente ho ricevuto una risposta molto ufficiale: ”Dipende”. Ho soggiornato per tre notti e volevo effettuare il check-out un'ora dopo l'ultimo giorno. Ho chiamato, ma mi hanno detto rapidamente e freddamente che non era possibile effettuare il check-out posticipato e che dovevo farlo alle 11:00.

La camera era come me l'aspettavo, non c'era il bar del caffè e gli articoli da toeletta erano nella media. Ma la posizione è eccellente, vicino a Central Park e alla Fifth Avenue, e ci vogliono solo più di dieci minuti a piedi per raggiungere Times Square.

Ho prenotato una camera con vista sull'Empire State Building, ma riuscivo a vederlo solo in coda, il che è stato un po' deludente. La stanza, anche se un po' piccola, è arredata con molto stile. L'unico problema è che l'aria condizionata è troppo rumorosa. Fortunatamente di notte non fa caldo, quindi non lo accendo. La posizione geografica è eccellente, è vicino a tutto. L'hotel ha un suo ristorante, che è delizioso. Più comodo per chi viaggia da solo

Positivo: Tutto fantastico. Posizione eccellente. La stanza è abbastanza grande. Negativo: L'hotel è molto grande, quindi c'è molto traffico nella hall e negli ascensori. La colazione è decisamente troppo cara. Gli arredi delle camere sono vecchi e usurati. Probabilmente prenoterei di nuovo lì perché ho trovato la posizione molto buona.

Managed to arrive early and allowed early check-in at 1pm plus instead of 4pm. The caucasian woman stationed at the check-in counter was not the most friendly person. I passed her my credit card and was waiting for her to instruct me to sign for receipt. After a long pause, i realized i have to do something with the machine, and asked her where do i click for the machine. She did not respond kindly. I understand not every American has travelled widely and tends to provide poorer quality services as compared internationally. Hereby pointing this out, as a matter of fact, the hotel need to understand not every country use the same brand of credit card machine/POS as the Americans. The hotel staff should not expect foreign guests to know how the machine or hotel works. Also, there is no instruction on the machine ‘Please sign here’. The staff should at least provide a verbal instruction for signature on the machine. If the staff cannot be bothered with providing verbal instructions, please paste a visual aid on the machine at the minimum. Thankfully, the asian guy during check out was much friendlier and tried to start a conversation, but i was having a cold so i tried to minimise interaction. The interiors were old fashioned like in 90s. Fortunately, the room was clean and lit with multiple lamps around the room. As with most reviews, I was charged twice on my credit card on first day and last day each. Asking for a refund through my card service now as unauthorised charge was made on the last day and it wasn’t even on the receipt/expense report. I would gladly just pay for everything on my Day one, instead of going through such trouble. No receipt for deposit or cancellation, unlike other hotels i have been to. Service and amenities are average. No slippers available in the room. Locker for valuables provided. Own coffee machine provided in-room, but don’t set high expectations as it’s not Nespresso. There is no in-room dining menu for reference, even if i want to get. 30$USD destination fee per night is compulsory but exchangeable for 2hr bike rental in central park for two pax or food in the hotel. It feels like the hotel wants to charge you extra but don’t want to provide the service paid. I didn’t bother to purchase food from hotel as the reviews were average. Recommend to visit Los Tacos No. 1 & Broad Nosh Bagels a few blocks away for breakfast and lunch. The best point and only positive point is the hotel location. Just behind MoMA and near proximity landmarks such as Rockefeller Centre, and two streets away from 5th Avenue and Central Park. Only stayed here for convenience as a friend was also staying in the same hotel for business needs.

L'hotel non è grande ma molto pulito e accogliente. Soprattutto la reception mi ha aiutato a chiamare un'auto per l'aeroporto. Era molto economica e conveniente. Ci tornerò la prossima volta e lo consiglierò a tutti.
