The Amanda Hotel was recently renovated in 2023, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Luang Prabang. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Luang Prabang International Airport located approximately 6km away and Luang Prabang Railway Station roughly 12km away. Seeing Luang Prabang's sights from this hotel is easy with The Bamboo Experience, Luang Prabang Stadium and Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre all close by. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment and it was immaculate and cosy all at the same time. Double balcony; fully equipped kitchen, open plan dining area and lounge and a very comfortable bed but the absolute highlight for me was the free standing bath (beside the shower big enough for a whole football team). There is secure door entry both at the room and the building, parking available, free bicycles to borrow and they can arrange a scooter too (i think it was 180k LAK a day). There is a washing machine on the balcony whihc is also free to use. Comes in handy after a few hours out in the dust.
