Review of Casa Faraona Luxury Residences, Madrid I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Faraona Luxury Residences in Madrid, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and comfort that truly set the tone for our stay. Incredible Room Experience The room we stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. Every detail was meticulously crafted, exhibiting a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The bed was heavenly, adorned with silky sheets that made it feel like a dream. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the vibrant city. Exceptional Service The service at Casa Faraona was outstanding. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs, making us feel like valued guests every step of the way. Delicious Breakfast and Free Cocktails One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful spread that catered to every taste, from fresh pastries to hearty options. Additionally, the complimentary cocktails were a lovely touch, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the ambiance of the residence. Prime Location The location of Casa Faraona Luxury Residences couldn’t be better. Nestled in the heart of Madrid, it provided easy access to some of the city’s top attractions, dining, and shopping. We loved being able to explore the vibrant streets and return to our luxurious oasis at the end of the day. In conclusion, Casa Faraona Luxury Residences exceeded all our expectations. With its stunning rooms, impeccable service, delicious breakfast, complimentary cocktails, and prime location, it offers an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and make more wonderful memories in this beautiful hotel!

L'hotel si trova in una zona caotica con strade strette. Le fermate della metropolitana e dell'autobus sono a 5 minuti a piedi. Meno di 24 ore prima del check-in, riceverete un modulo di registrazione online con i vostri dati personali e un codice di accesso. Il check-in non ha presentato problemi. Al mio arrivo, non c'erano posti auto disponibili; mi è stato chiesto di trovare un parcheggio in strada. La hall è molto piacevole, con un distributore automatico. L'acustica è molto elevata! Il rumore proveniente dal corridoio di notte era fastidioso, poiché la porta d'ingresso non è insonorizzata (anche la luce filtra attraverso la fessura inferiore). Anche le normali conversazioni e le grida dei bambini erano udibili attraverso le pareti e il soffitto. Tutti i comfort erano presenti, ma la mancanza di un bollitore è stata una grande delusione :(( Nel complesso, la camera era in buone condizioni, ma la parete dipinta di blu era graffiata, le tende automatiche non funzionavano e il piano cottura non funzionava a causa di un cattivo collegamento elettrico. La pulizia era buona e veniva effettuata quotidianamente, ma il personale era presente solo fino alle 15:00.

A me piace la posizione dell'hotel.È molto amichevole molto vicino alle principali attrazioni della città. Mi piace il cibo disponibile in bevande fresche e servite. Le camere dell'hotel sono molto pulite e sono tutti ben mantenute. C'è sempre qualcuno disponibile alla reception.È come 24 ore di disponibilità. Per chiunque, quindi, in caso di qualcosa, puoi solo entrare, controllare con loro

Vicinissimo alla fermata dell'autobus 203 per la stazione ferroviaria e l'aeroporto. Camminare non è un problema per noi, quindi la posizione è piuttosto buona. Ci sono voluti circa 45 minuti per raggiungere a piedi il Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, attraversando il Parco del Retiro. Il Palacio de Cristal è chiuso, ma la fontana di fronte è molto carina. Anche il ritorno lungo P.º del Prado di notte è piacevole.

Love the theater theme throughout the hotel. The spiral staircase is a work of art, and the overall atmosphere is very sophisticated and chic. It really stands out from standard chain hotels. On the location: Perfectly situated on Gran Vía! I was able to walk to almost everything. Near Callao, Sol, and the Royal Palace are just minutes away. The reception staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful, which made the stay even better. Many thanks to Roberto and Patricia at the front desk for their exceptional service. Roberto was incredibly helpful with recommendations and arranging luggage storage while I continued my trip to Morocco. Patricia’s warm personality, efficiency, and attention to detail truly stood out from organizing my wake-up call to advising on the best route to the airport to avoid morning traffic. Always kind and smiling, she really makes you feel at home. Lastly, a big thank you to the lady for arranging help with my two large pieces of luggage, and to another gentleman at reception who made my check-out seamless. I forgot their names. But I highly recommend this hotel not only for its excellent location, but also for its stylish art deco and theater-themed rooms, which I find very stylish and defo a nice break from the standard and generic hotel decor standards. Especially the staffs who truly make me feel at home.. Thank you!

Ho soggiornato per una notte e avevo bisogno di un posto pulito dove riposare. L'ostello è vicino al centro e ci sono molti ristoranti e bar nei dintorni. La camera era pulita e ho apprezzato la presenza di un bagno/doccia privato da condividere solo con il mio compagno di stanza. La zona è anche tranquilla di notte. Non ho usufruito di nessuno dei loro servizi, ma offrono asciugamani, spazzolini da denti, pantofole, ecc. Pagando un supplemento, organizzano anche riunioni ed eventi. Sembra un ostello che offre un buon equilibrio tra relax e divertimento.

L'hotel si sviluppa su cinque piani e la stanza in cui ho soggiornato al quinto piano era un duplex, la cui spaziosità mi ha sorpreso molto. La stanza aveva uno spazio per giocare a giochi da tavolo, un bagno e una doccia al piano inferiore, e un letto, un bagno e un lavandino al piano superiore. Per quanto riguarda la lavanderia, ce n'è una nelle vicinanze aperta dalle 9:00 alle 22:30. Per ricevere la chiave dell'armadietto è richiesto un deposito di 5€.

La posizione è molto comoda, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria di Atocha, con facile accesso a tutte le direzioni. La camera è pulita e ordinata. La reception ha detto che è possibile passare a una camera più grande pagando un piccolo supplemento, ma la camera è un po' piccola rumoroso fronte strada. Anche lo shampoo, il balsamo e il dentifricio sono di alta qualità, la pressione dell'acqua è sufficiente, la reception è molto gentile e la colazione è buona. Il marchio Hardrock è garantito. La cosa strana è che nell'edificio l'energia elettrica sarà insufficiente e ci saranno interruzioni di corrente. Una mattina l'ascensore non funzionava, ma per noi non ha avuto un grande impatto.

This review is not about the €9 breakfast charge. I paid for the breakfast because I had eaten it. This review is about how I was treated afterwards. A simple misunderstanding over breakfast escalated into one of the most unprofessional hotel experiences I have ever had. After I politely suggested that the hotel communicate its breakfast policy more clearly to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future, a staff member, Yansel, began shouting at me from outside the hotel, called me back inside, repeatedly accused me of “trying to play with him,” raised his voice throughout the interaction, claimed that he was the manager, refused my request to speak with the General Manager, and aggressively handled my personal belongings. He pushed and kicked my luggage towards the exit, damaged my bags, repeatedly shouted at me to take my belongings and leave, and I also felt mocked while trying to communicate in English instead of being treated with patience and professionalism. As a solo female traveller, I found this behaviour intimidating and completely unacceptable. Guests should be able to raise feedback respectfully without being shouted at, aggressively confronted, or having their belongings handled in this manner. I later spoke with Raul, who was professional, apologised for the way I had been treated, acknowledged that there had been been a misunderstanding regarding the breakfast, confirmed that I was entitled to leave my luggage after check-out, and informed me that Yansel was not the General Manager or the manager. I appreciate Raul’s professionalism. However, that does not change what happened. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at Hotel Mayerling Madrid. There are many hotels in Madrid where guests can expect to be treated with professionalism and respect. In my experience, this was not one of them. As a solo female traveller, I did not feel safe after the way this situation was handled. For that reason, I cannot recommend this hotel and would encourage other travellers to consider alternative accommodation.

We came to the apartment at 3pm (check in time) and found out that a cleaner was still in the mid-way of cleaning. We talked to reception who immediately sent one more cleaner to help and said the apartment would he ready in 10 mins. We got into the apartment like 20 mins later and felt like that the floor might not have been mopped. I stayed there for 5 nights and found that the sole of my slippers were blackened, which always left dirty slipper print in washroom after shower. We had stayed in a 2 bedrooms 2 washrooms apartment. The furnishing however was very strange. While the master bedroom was equipped with 2 single beds placed together, the other small bedroom with only sliding door was with a double bed! My friend stayed in a 2 bedrooms 1 washroom apartment got a much better configuration which is a normal double bedroom and a twin room (as advised in website). Besides, the living room was a bit dark. On the whole, the stay was still fairly satisfactory. Reception staff was polite, helpful and efficient. Provision of basic cooking essentials including oil was good. Stuff in cleaning kit and toilet paper however was inadequate for a long stay. We needed to go to reception (opens only 0900-1700) to get additional supplies. Wish the cleaner would stock the place according to stay duration of the guests. The apartment is situated in a very convenient location. 5 mins to Metro Palos de la Frontera, 10 mins to Atocha train station, 2 mins to Carrefour Express, 7 mins to Lidl supermarket. There is also another big supermarket Dia nearby. Above all, the building provides free luggage storage facilities in 3,4 & 5 floors. You need €1 to operate the locker but you can it back when returning the key. That’s real convenient.
