Hotels con balconi a Doha

"Hotel molto carino e confortevole. Tuttavia questa volta ho avuto un problema con il bus navetta: stavamo aspettando con un altro cliente dalle 23:50 alle 00:10 alla fermata dell'autobus all'aeroporto, ma l'autobus non si è presentato. Abbiamo dovuto prendere un taxi. Il mio consiglio sarebbe di mettere un ”nome dell'hotel” molto più grande sull'autobus, altrimenti è un disastro."

"It was great! We arrived very early ( before 7:30am ) and never expected our room ( superior room double queen ) to be ready. But indeed the night manager was there to extend a very warm welcome and served us drinks and damp towels to freshen up , then proposed to show us another room if we were interested so we had a choice. So he brought us to view both---the one we originally booked and a one bedroom apartment in another building that he thought we might want to see. We found the latter more spacious and brighter and the affable manager immediately offered us a complimentary upgrade even before we made our decision. So we eventually went for the apartment and within minutes all our suitcases were brought up. The nice apartment has a living room cum a dining area , and a small balcony. There is an open kitchen with complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge, plus assorted tea sachets and coffee capsules. Fresh bottled water replenished daily and it were the little things they put after housekeeping left that made the stay extra comfy e.g. the little book mark placed on one of our books, or extra velcro ties for our cables and chargers casually lying around the desk. The main bathroom is spacious with all the toiletries daily replenished while there is a separate toilet at one end. In the living room there is a nook with a desk and stationery, plus all the cables and cords for any type of phones and gadgets. We never had to ask for iron and ironing board because they were already provided, placed inside the wardrobe. The safe was not functioning properly ---failed to lock when we first checked in, but soon they sent some technician up and got it fixed the next day. Bedding is starched white , very clean and very white. Air con is at a comfy temperature although it was over 44C when we were there it was never too uncomfortably chilly. Concierge is pleasant and helpful and UBER taxis are convenient. There is a Harrods cafe just down the hotel pathway, a rough 3-4 minutes walk , plus other restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlours in the area. There is a Chinese restaurant that is under MO that boasts the best Chinese cuisine in Doha. The Souq Waqif is within walking distance, but the place only comes alive after 5pm when the sun is less scorching. In the day time hardly a soul is found on the streets. People just flock to malls. There in the souq you can find rows and rows of shops selling herbs and perfumes, clothes and shoes, as well as restaurants, cafes , grocery stores and souvenir shops. MO Doha is in a safe area even after midnight because at night there are security guards stationed at almost all street corners where the streets all link up and lead you back to the hotel. Doha people are friendly and nice , and Doha is a very disciplined and safe place so there is no problem for anyone , or specifically women , to venture out on their own any time of the day or night. MO Doha certainly has top security at every entrance and exit , the hotel is very clean and comfortable albeit the shower could be a bit more powerful. All in all, I would not hesitate to stay there again."

"What a super hotel and probably one of the best that we have ever stayed in! Hotel is extremely clean and modern, with all the facilities that you would need. Breakfast was amazing and staff went out of their way to make sure we felt like royalty! Our room was super nice and had a beautiful view overlooking the Doha Skyline - incredible. Staff were all amazing, always polite and helpful. Rooftop bar is great way to spend an evening with views overlooking Doha. Our best part was when we arrived early from the airport ( 9am) and we were taken to the breakfast room where we were given free tea and breakfast until our room was ready. What an amazing start - thankyou Alwady for an incredible holiday."

"We have stayed at this hotel almost every year either as Doha being our destination or a break point for onwards travel or return and all our experiences have been the best to say the least. However, as some say it takes one bad experience and all good ones get suppressed very quick. This stay, our first impression at the checkin left a bad taste to the experience. The hotel policy is that checkin is at 3pm and we know that from previous experience and booking details, however previously the staff were very polite in saying the room was wasn’t ready or they can check us in but a little later and on some occasions we were given a room early, however this time we were bluntly told checkin is at 3pm and to come back then. Baggage can be held. The checkin staff was either overwhelmed with work or angry about something but he did not show professionalism. He was getting upset with another staff member and was bluntly rude. Dashed off in the back telling another staff to stay in the front. We left our baggage and came back at 1.30pm with another staff at checkin and was allocated a room straight away and infect got an upgrade. I made the comment that I wish she was there earlier with him standing next to her. His reaction was, ‘sorry to keep you waiting’. I don’t think that was genuinely said as he had no sincerity in it and straight away start d chatting to some ladies that were on the counter. Room was good but we got a joining room and I don’t like those rooms as you can almost hear everything from the other room as the door is the only barrier. As the stay was for 2 nights, I wasn’t going to create any fuse. The amenities in the room like soap, shower gel etc is still in small pack, so if you and your partner have a shower once, you’ll have to call to get another set or buy some yourselves. I would have expected better. Bed and pillows comfortable. A/C was quiet but it seemed to go into power saving mode in the middle of the night as you would wake up hot and sweaty but after a couple of minutes it would cool up again. Breakfast was booked as part of the booking and as usual, it was very well catered. Lots of variety and good quality. Staff were excellent and did everything to impress. Overall, location is excellent and rooms are nice but starting to show it’s age. Would I return, maybe. There was a time I could say definitely and would recommend the hotel eyes closed but this experience has led to think that I should try other hotels in the vicinity as I feel the quality would or could be better. Other staff such as bell boys and coffee staff at checkin were excellent and very helpful. I wish I had a better checkin experience."

"amazing hotel in location and best customer service culture, which is noticeable at the doorsteps of hotel entrance by valet parking staff to receptionist and all over the hotel. restaurants and food are second to none. We had our first lunch at the Italian restaurant Sel & Miel , the food and staff are amazing, they surprised us with cake and flowers for our 50th wedding Anniversary and took alot of pictures for us by their Polaroid camera. Special thanks to the best housekeeping ever who surprised us with the setup of our room. we were touched by invitation from Nassira and Huda to have moroccan tea at the lobby bar. I would like to give special thanks to all staff of Lagoon restaurant, Suhila, yasmin, Hatim, Elma, Duwi ,luyoni, and lovely Balaneeis girls who take care of us during our 5 days stays. we definitely will come back and recommend The Ritz Carlton to our friends and family members."

"Durante la mia breve sosta a Doha, ho prenotato questo hotel per la sua vicinanza all'aeroporto. La camera e il letto erano perfetti, ma ho riscontrato problemi con la connessione internet, che non funzionava nonostante le ripetute richieste di assistenza. Inoltre, la pulizia del bagno lasciava molto a desiderare, probabilmente a causa di una disattenzione di quel giorno."

"Ottimo luogo, con una spiaggia, che porta alla passeggiata del tavolo e della passeggiata di Pearl. E anche la zona veneziana è a pochi minuti di distanza. La zona della piscina è ben attrezzata e molto carina. La colazione è stata vasta, con opzione per mangiare all'aperto. La stanza era grande, dotata di una cucina (microonde, lavatrice e utensili) che era utile.La mia stanza era con un grande balcone, vista sul mare. Era deluso con la conservazione delle forniture, deve chiedere un tovagliolo e il terzo giorno, il custode non ha lasciato alcun gel di doccia, il personale potrebbe avere bisogno di ulteriori formazione su questo, anche se è minore e è stato facilmente risolto. Non c'è frutta o bevanda di benvenuto, che è stato deludente, ma il personale è stato molto gentile e utile."

"We had an amazing time at the hotel. Staff were wonderful and made us feel welcome. We arrived early, and the receptionist checked us in immediately. The room was complimentary upgraded to Seaview on the 10th floor with amazing views. Breakfast was delicious, with continental buffet and cooked breakfast available to order at the table. Dinner had many choices on offer, including sushi. Chef was aware of my allergies to shellfish and ensured I had specially prepared a platter each evening. The pool and beach area is spacious with plenty of loungers to choose from, ice cooler of bottle water replenished, and cold face towels provided. We were truly impressed with traditional decor and personal touches like fruit basket on arrival."

Tuttavia, la ragione principale per cui abbiamo prenotato questo hotel è stata la piscina all'aperto, ma era in fase di rinnovamento, quindi non potevamo usarlo 😢 sarebbe stato meglio se ci fosse stata una notizia prima della prenotazione, ma il soggiorno era bello."
