This is my second time to stay here. I have a service dog who is an ESA, which I had informed the hotel of when I made the booking. I had stayed there the previous weekend and when I checked in, there weren’t any issues with any of the staff with my having an ESA staying there. I only had an incident with the night manager who complained about the dog being in the hotel. This is when I was on the way to eat at the restaurant. The host & the server had no issues with the dog being there and they commented that she was actually more behaved than many small children that come the food was amazing btw. I twice had the dog near me as well in the pool area tethered while I was swimming & while I was in the hot tub & there were no issues with the staff then. However, the next time I stayed, they would not let me have the dog with me in the pool area tethered. They then ended up kicking me out of the hotel as I would not leave the pool as I felt this to be unjust as the dog wasn’t bothering anyone. Also, she cannot be in the room by herself as she will cry & bark which would bother our neighbors. I also will not leave her in the car. Basically because of my ESA dog-a Pomski of 14lbs, I was kicked out of the hotel at 10:30 at night escorted by 3 policemen on a Saturday with nowhere to stay. I had to sleep on my friends couch for a few hours, and find another place to stay the next day which excepted my ESA dog without any issues. I will not be staying at this resort again because of this horrific experience.

My husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area.

La posizione era a buon punto nel mezzo di tutto quello che volevamo fare.La pulizia dell'hotel era semplicemente ok perché era stato scaricato e doveva essere riparato. Il portatore di carta igienica che figura nella foto sottostante era quasi bloccato nel muro e ogni volta che volevi tessuto igienico, chiedeva solo di cadere sul pavimento. Lo specchio della camera principale era discolorito da pulizia costante e il telaio aveva diverse tinture che non voglio sapere da dove provenivano. Prima di prenotare, ho chiamato per chiedere se avevano un tubo caldo e il signore che si è preso diceva che avevano un tubo caldo e che funzionava; ma non avevano un tubo caldo solo una piscina, ma almeno era riscaldato. Il pranzo lascia molto da desiderare; ci sono state opzioni limitate, i rulli di cipolle erano asciutti, le uova e il salsaggio erano cotte o asciugate, e la battuta per far gustare le waffle non era solo buona. L'unica cosa buona al colazione era il caffè e il succo d'arancia, quindi purtroppo non potevamo godere del colazione complementare e dovevamo mangiare. Sembrava che fosse successo a tutti che rimase più di un giorno, perché molti di noi aspettavano al conto. Quando siamo andati a prendere la carta, erano carini e accoglienti, ma era ancora un male, perché abbiamo pagato per due notti.

Il nostro soggiorno era breve perché eravamo in città per un matrimonio, ma si ottiene quello che paga. Specialmente per solo $ 62 per notte. Era decente pulizia, ho segnato principalmente perché abbiamo trovato e ucciso 3 bug, che sono come il mio peggiore nemico. Abbiamo controllato i bug del letto, non c'erano. lo abbiamo anche segnalato a causa del piccolo odore che non era abbastanza giusto e su una delle foglie c'era una tintura marrone. un consiglio per il personale se lo leggeno, Il piatto in parete scent cosa deve andare in alto, si mette in alto e si è svuotato tutto il giardino! Anche per forse anche il proprietario, bug trappole sono così economico, solo alcuni sticky dietro il frigo e vestiti ti sorprenderebbero. Eviterà che i vostri clienti debbano vedere i bug e ucciderli. Le strutture sono marcate in basso perché la piscina è stata chiusa, e il ristorante che è allegato non sembra essere in azienda. Non ci sono segni che potessimo vedere che l’azienda è stata chiusa, ma sembrava così. La posizione è buona, a 10 minuti dal centro! è un po 'di zona rurale, ma ha funzionato bene per noi, poiché il luogo di nozze era a soli 10 minuti. Quindi qualsiasi cliente futuro, se si aspetta un ostaggio vacanze o meglio, non lo riceverà! Questo si sente più come un mix tra motel 6 e un super 8. Quanto meno le vostre aspettative se si arriva qui. è un bel posto per un soggiorno economico.

For the first time ever being in WI, the staff members here are amazing, wonderful and very respectful. They have treated me like family here, and that right there is a wonderful feeling ever, knowing that you are new to a state without any real family. The hotel is always very clean, and the other guest people are very sweet too. Beth is one of the nicest people I have ever meet, everyone here goes up and beyond for they customers.
Holiday Inn Express Wisconsin Dells

We checked into this hotel for four nights, we should have checked out after the first night. It started out poorly and got worse from there. The carpets in the room, the hallway and especially the stars are smelly and dirty. For some reason we were given a handicapped equipped room which, in my opinion, would be unsafe for a person with a disability. It was the last room at the end of a long hallway. You might think it was closer to the exit but there was no elevator there and the only exit was one floor below. There was a bathtub that had a chair in it but when I went to move the chair forward, it fell into the bathtub. The safety belt smelled of mildew. There was a shower head that was hard to reach in order to adjust it and the hand held shower head was inoperable. There was one office chair in the room so no place else to sit except the bed. Although the website indicated daily housekeeping service, a sign posted at the registration desk informed s that due to Covid, housekeeping services would only be provided if requested before 9:00 am. We didn’t request it after the first night but did try to call housekeeping the second morning. The number was busy for about 10-15 minutes so we dialed the operator. It rang and rang and rang. We kept trying and eventually someone answered. We requested service and also indicated that we had no tissues and that we were running out of toilet paper. She asked us not to leave a “do not disturb” sign on the door, we complied. When we returned that night, we found that our room had not been serviced. We called the front desk and were told it would definitely would be the next day. Someone did come in and make the bed and place clean towels in the bathroom. Still no tissues, no toilet paper and no fresh cups. My husband had to go to the front desk to get what we needed. The worst part is that the staff didn’t seem concerned or apologetic in the least. We have stayed at IHG hotels before and were generally pleased. We don’t expect luxury for this price point but we do expect cleanliness, safety and an engaged hospitality staff.

Came here with my husband to visit my hometown so I know the area very well. Best location to stay and explore and with all the new changes to downtown. However, even though location is good I will never stay again. I wouldn’t call it a hotel but more motel. It was on the better side though (cute) I would say. Definitely the hotel cost way more than is should. There’s an additional $20 that they say is for wifi/renting bikes/24 hr lobby/yoga mats/indoor and outdoor games/live music/gym/parking/discounts at certain stores of downtown in which they don’t even know of or which ones they are. However, I didn’t use any of that so I pretty much used up $20 ok nothing. If it was part of the hotel price itself then ok I understand but a separate charge for these amenities is ridiculous. When you look at the hotel photos you’ll also find that there aren’t photos of the bathrooms and kind of understandable. Bathroom wasn’t too bad but also not in the best condition (definitely could use remodeling).

I have stayed here before and the location and price were right. This time however I was very disappointed and honestly feel I should recieve a refund do to the condition of the room. For starters there were roaches behind the bed and by the desk area and the carpet was seemed together terribly . Did not appear that the room was cleaned very well at all. Then I went to take a shower and notice it had zip ties and tinfoil holding some of the shower head together. I had a first floor room and the window latch was broken as well. This was very dissatisfying and definetly made it hard to sleep after noticing roaches behind the bed . I usually never leave reviews if I’m not satisfied with something but I feel an obligation to leave this review to prevent any traveling business people from picking this hotel because the location is great but it is a party hotel if you ask me. I would definetly like to be refunded for this terrible experience.

Issue #1: There was no hot water the first morning that I was there. As I rode the elevator to the breakfast bar, others voiced the same complaint. The comment from the front desk was ”a lot of people take showers at the same time in the morning so that's why the hot water ran out”. Which the response from us on the elevator was ”isn't that what happens in hotels? We need to get our shower to get ready for our day ahead?” I had to contact a friend in the Green Bay area and ask if I could come to her house to use her shower. The second morning, I waited until later to use the shower, but it was a barely warm shower and the water turned cold within a few minutes. Issue 2. The beds in my room were so bad that I could see springs poking out of them. They were like craters! I was traveling with a senior citizen who has some back issues. She was unable to stay with me room because the bed mattresses were not only very uncomfortable, but even unsafe. I ended up using the coach in the living area of the suit to sleep on. Issue 3: Noise level. The acoustics are poor in this hotel. It was a full house every night but everyone was well behaved. There was no big loud group of any kind there to party for some sports event. But ordinary conversations could be clearly heard intelligibly from my room. even being as far away from the door as possible. There is a good inch gap from the bottom of the door to the flooring which could be one reason. But I could also hear people talking at normal conversational level in the room next door. If this is where you staying during a Packers game weekend, be prepared to hear lots of noise. I am a 25 year Marriott loyalty customer. This is the only Marriott property that has not met Marriott's standards in my 25 years of staying on Marriott properties. While I found the housekeeping service and breakfast attendant extremely pleasant, competent, welcoming, and helpful, the front desk seemed to be unempathetic of their hotel in need of much updating and proper maintenance. It does appear that work is being done as they were recarpetting the stairwells, so perhaps this is part of the updating process. However, no one should pay $168/night to stay in a hotel that does not have hot water, and beds that are unfit to sleep. To the point that I had to leave the hotel to get a hot shower and the other person in my party was unable to stay with me.

Abbiamo avuto un buon tempo con un inizio molto cattivo. In primo luogo, il negativo: assicuratevi che l'hotel vi farà pagare un'ulteriore tassa quando arriverete! Quando sono arrivato, mi sono pagato un'ulteriore ”tassa di ristorazione” di $86, e il ragazzo vicino a me in linea aveva un'ulteriore $540! Aspettate che questa tassa nascosta non vi dica. Oltre a ciò che abbiamo avuto un'esperienza molto positiva. La maggior parte del personale era molto amichevole (meno una donna che lavorava le scivoli d'acqua che non erano molto carine). Le camere erano pulite, belle e grandi, con pochi problemi molto piccoli (una maniglia sul bacino rotto, ma ancora utilizzabile, e un cambio parzialmente rotto per il fan in bagno che era ancora utilizzabile). Ho messo la spazzatura fuori dalla nostra stanza per essere gettata, e un giorno dopo, quando l'abbiamo lasciata, non era stata ancora rimossa. In generale l'hotel è bello e il parco acquatico è stato divertente, ma le tasse aggiuntive appena arrivato mi hanno sorpreso dell'esperienza.
