I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The place is extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and always helpful with a smile. The hotel also offers some nice activities and fun games for guests to enjoy. I highly recommend it to everyone — it’s a great choice, especially for solo travelers like myself. Safe, comfortable, and welcoming.

 the place was lovely and cool and friendly staff. You can go the market and old town Phuket by walking five minute and the bedroom is so clean for solo traveler it’s perfect for the female solo traveling. And the room is so cheap. Love it.

Non è la prima linea, ma la posizione dell'hotel è conveniente. Vicino a SevanIlevan e Lemongrass Haus, il negozio di marchi è dotato di cosmetici per saloni spa, dove si può convertire olio di massaggio, crema dopo il sole, aromatifuso da ingredienti naturali. Il primo piano è un forno a microonde. Da 07:00 a 10:30 tè gratuito con zucchero e biscotti. In camera stessa è comodo, il sistema è diviso. Ci è un tappeto su ogni piano.

Really a great find in the old town. Superb location whereby I can walk out and find famous old heritage food … plenty of drinking places, convenience stores. Most importantly there is plenty of parking space.

Ancora un ottimo ostello per rimanere, la mia seconda visita in un breve periodo.
Sono rimasto nella stessa stanza, nella capsula diversa, così poco da aggiungere. A parte che il serbatoio in questa era rotto. Io sono sicuro che la manutenzione la ripararà immediatamente. Io sono rimasto solo una notte, quindi non è stato così urgente.
Il buon valore per i soldi, il buon comfort, ma dovrebbero davvero fare qualcosa sul rumore dal bagno.E'difficile ascoltare i tuoi compagni di stanza che si svuotano le entrambe le bocche al mattino :( o disturbare mentre si doccia.

Location is perfect if you want to spend time in old town Phuket ! Here in the Center of the Old Town area, only take a short walk to the Main Street.
The hostel is very local and friendly, 4th floor is my private room with toilet in the room. big mirror. The bed not so comfy, and very dusty when I open the curtain.
No lift only stair, need to walk up, suggest backpacker to go, or you better leave your luggage on the ground floor.
For a short stay in budget is good to stay here I think.
In the common area, provide fridge can use, I love the cold water inside can refill as much as I want, also room temperature water provide in the ground floor.
I go on Fri-Sun , Sunday night market start at 4:30-10pm, the car not allow to go on the Main Street and all the shops open in the car road, you can buy all the drinks,food, shopping, souvenir. With local live music, some children’s sing and play instruments, with some seats, the mood is great.

Highly recommended! We felt completely at home here. We stayed in a one-bedroom and it was quite spacious and had a very large bathroom with a wet and dry area. Hot water was readily available. There was daily cleaning. The room came with basic amenities including 4 towels, soap, shampoo, bathmat, coffee, cups, TV, clothes hanger. There was also a balcony but since there were a lot of mosquitoes, we rarely used it. There was also a microwave in the pantry area that was very useful.
The room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were lots of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.
Breakfast was available everyday (coffee, milo, bread, margarine and jam).
There is also a pool and lots of places to lounge.
We really loved the place but just some points for feedback:
The sink area in the pantry had a lot of mosquitoes, probably could use some fogging.
Maybe butter can be served instead of margarine during breakfast as a healthier option.
The rooms could be provided with door signs so that guests can indicate if they want their rooms to be cleaned or not.
It would also be very helpful if the rooms could come with a chair which can be used for work.
We look forward to staying here again!

La posizione è grande, proprio nel cuore della città. E 'passeggiabile per la vecchia città di Phuket e molti ristoranti famosi. Il parcheggio è sempre disponibile. Il personale è super utile e attento. La stanza è bella e pulita. La casa stessa è ben decorata con oggetti nostalgici in stile chic e moderno Sino. Ci siamo trasferiti in una camera superiore al secondo piano per 3 notti. Non viene comunque con un ascensore. Inoltre, la seconda notte, c'era una musica al vivo molto alta che giocava fino a mezzanotte, ma forse questo è solo per la festa del Nuovo Anno. In generale, siamo molto impressionati e sicuramente torneremo.

Il capo è una donna molto entusiasta. L'atteggiamento del servizio è molto intimido e mi preoccupa di chiedere cosa mi serve.L'hotel è nuovo e pulito, la decorazione complessiva è molto comoda e piacevole.Ci sono cucina per cucinare, la colazione fornisce pane e frutta gratis. Ci sono anche caffè e tè gratuito, c'è un piccolo frigorifero sotto il quale si può conservare il cibo.Molto grazie al capo, tutto il viaggio è buono per me, ho la possibilità di scegliere qui. Rari commenti, ma vivere qui è molto piacevole e aggiungere un nuovo hotel può essere preoccupato per vedere che nessun commento sarà fatto, quindi scrivere un immediato!La posizione geografica è buona, 50 m è la spiaggia.Ci sono molte spalle vicino.

Grande hotel in una tranquilla strada laterale. È stato un personale meraviglioso, ti è sempre stato curato. Camera spaziale, aria condizionata di alta qualità, balcone, pulizia giornaliera e due bottiglie d'acqua. Abbiamo anche tratto vantaggio dal servizio di trasferimento aeroportuale. Grazie mille!

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature).
While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order.
But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny.
Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.”
After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime.
This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol.
I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high?
In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out.
I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average.
P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

22morrowsworldMy initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later).
But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform.
Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this.
A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq !
Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste.
Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong
There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine.
Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

RRhapxie LibreaThe location is just near the airport. I arrived there around 12AM already and little did I know that there’s a live band in the hostel. I had a good stay here. The room and toilet is clean! If you’re a solo traveler, and you’re looking for a short stay, I highly recommend this.
Just a reminder: you have to take off your shoes outside. You can’t enter the room with your shoes on.

IIvan KraljQuesta è stata la mia visita di ritorno a questo ostello, e devo dire che sono stato disappunto. L'ultima volta, su un'altra piattaforma, ho dato un rating 8/10, ma ora penso di essere troppo generoso.
Oltre a sorridere, ma non buon personale di lingua inglese (e sorrire non sempre risolve problemi come un'azione informata), e un prezzo affidabile, è stato difficile trovare tutti i vantaggi che pensavo che questo ostello avesse.
Il distributore di acqua calda non funzionava, ma nemmeno l'acqua potabile fredda non era accessibile - ho dovuto chiedere al personale tre volte di riempire la macchina. Ma la mattina prossima, ancora vuota, dovrebbe essere un sistema in atto e non contare su ospiti per cacciare il personale per ripararlo ogni volta che il serbatoio d'acqua è vuoto.
Dico caccia, perché c'è raramente qualcuno alla ricezione, che potrebbero pulire le stanze (fortuna a trovarle), ma le stanze non erano così pulite. I pavimenti pregavano per il mopping, polvere nel fan del bagno voleva lasciare anche ... c'era anche una tintura chiaramente visibile sul mio letto al check-in, ma il personale ha sostituito il letto immediatamente Potevano notarlo quando facevano il letto la prima volta?
Locker non lavorava, quindi il personale doveva usare il coltello per farlo funzionare, l'altro luogo di magazzinaggio era anche pieno di un po' di crollo, immagino non sia troppo spesso sulla lista di pulizia.
L'AC nella stanza non sembrava funzionare correttamente. C'era sempre un senso di temperatura troppo fredda, se il teermostato fosse fissato a 18 o 25 gradi Celsius, si congelava anche al di sotto del mento.
Le tende di privacy sono ancora trasparenti (?), e le porte della stanza si chiudeno altissimamente.
La doccia era più di una spia, la pressione dell'acqua non soddisfava i requisiti di base. Nella prima doccia non era nemmeno calda. Ho entrato nella seconda, dove il riscaldatore funzionava meglio, ma non potevi docciare con acqua quasi solo goccendo su di te.
In generale, ci sono altri ostelli a Phuket a prezzi simili che offrono un miglior servizio.

IIvan KraljLa matrice era comoda, ma purtroppo i letti superiori medi non sono il posto migliore per mettere persone alti (come inevitabilmente colpiranno le lamiere con la testa). Inoltre, il socket elettrico nel mio letto non era abbastanza forte da tenere un caricatore in posizione, quindi ho dovuto improvvisare con un sacchetto e una capsula come base, così non sarebbe stato seguito.
L'AC nelle stanze è spento tra le 11:30 e le 16:30, FYI.
In termini di altre strutture, tutto il resto sembrava abbastanza spazioso, in realtà così spazioso che penso che l'architetto avrebbe potuto mettere i bagni aggiuntivi, perché due non sembravano sufficienti per il primo piano (30 persone?). C'erano tre urine, più incredibili, vicino alle porte sempre aperte, e le acque usate da tutti (il bagno è unisex), che avrebbe fatto bene a liberarsi di queste, e piuttosto a avere un altro bagno.
Per quanto riguarda i doccia, ci sono tre. La pressione dell'acqua era buona, anche se era difficile ottenere acqua veramente calda/ calda. Il gel di doccia/shampoo disponibile, così come i ganci necessari per appendere le vostre cose.
Il colazione era un semplice uovo scrambleto con un taglio di tosta e burro, salate di cavolo con mayonnaise e un salsaggio economico. Bene per iniziare un giorno, ma non così soddisfacente. Caffè e tè disponibile a colazione, acqua tutto il giorno. Puoi anche usare la cucina per preparare il tuo pranzo o cena.
Nel lobby e fuori, un paio di aree da impiccare e raffreddare. Se volevi giocare a piscina, sono 20 baht. Giochi da tavolo erano gratis.
Il piano superiore ha lavastoviglie (50 baht per carico) e un asciugacapelli (10 per 5 min), ma penso che dovreste passare un po' di tempo li ricarichendo le monete. Dopo due giri che non erano molto secche, ho messo il mio lavandino in un posto di pendenza limitato, ma fate attenzione, perché può essere ventoso, e molti vestiti volavano intorno.
Il personale è accessibile e ospite, anche se il loro livello di base di inglese può portare a un po 'di malintesi, come ho visto.

LLKAnche io sono arrivato molto tardi, posso facilmente trovare l'ostello passando solo pochi minuti a piedi dall'aeroporto. La stanza è pulita e forniscono colazione. Il negozio di comodità è appena vicino all'ostello. Un luogo perfetto per un breve soggiorno vicino all'aeroporto
