Sala Lodges in the enchanting city of Siem Reap is nothing short of a hidden gem that boasts not only of charming aesthetics but also of exceptional service that made our stay unforgettable. Nestled quietly away, this hotel provided a tranquil retreat that was much needed during our travel. The service at Sala Lodges was commendable, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. The staff were attentive, approachable, and consistently willing to assist us in organizing our trips around Siem Reap, making the overall experience hassle-free and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the Swiss owners who were genuinely amiable and made us feel warmly welcomed. As for the accommodations, the rooms in Sala Lodges were a delightful surprise. Each room bore discrete charm with its tasteful decoration, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements. The authentic Khmer old houses are full of charm, yet modern and well preserved. The hotel’s kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration. Adding to the hotel’s allure was the inviting swimming pool, serving as a refreshing sanctuary after a day of touring the magical temples and vibrant markets of Siem Reap. During the wet season, the atmosphere around Sala Lodges was even more calming and soothing, with the soft sound of rain providing a comforting backdrop to our stay. To sum it up, our experience at Sala Lodges was nothing short of magical. From the excellent service to the beautifully appointed rooms and delightful meals, every aspect of the hotel contributed to a stay that was serene, comfortable, and absolutely enjoyable. Whether you’re traveling in the wet season or not, Sala Lodges offers a cosy retreat that will surely enhance your Siem Reap adventure. Highly recommended!

Location is pretty convenient, 15min walk to the Pub street, there’s 7/11 and laundry service right around the corner. Hosts are lovely and sweet; I booked the place via trip.com and the room they provided was different from the photos; i booked a nice looking white room as they showed on my reservation but I ended up in a different room which was dark and not as fresh looking as I was expecting. Bathroom is a bit tricky, water usually spills all across the floor, and takes time to drain. Room has both AC and a ceiling fan, they provide toothbrush and small soaps, as well as towels; no flip-flops. Room and bathroom were both quite spacious, although it was rather dark inside since lightbulbs don’t actually light up much. The bedding appears clean but it isn’t the most fresh and you can see some stains but it is in an acceptable condition, although the mat in front of the bathroom door was quite old and filthy looking. There isn’t a mini fridge or blow dryer in the room and also no sockets in the bathroom which was actually quite inconvenient. They have a nice small pool in the yard. Guest house doesn’t provide house keeping unless you ask; same with drinking water - you have to ask and they will give bottles. There was a child on the premises that often screamed, which was rather unpleasant during the waking hours tbh. Overall, it was a normal place considering the price; i would stay there again assuming that they provide the room I book and not something else.

Sicuramente consiglierà questo posto. Voi ricevete più di quanto tu abbia pagato. Il proprietario e il personale sono molto utili, soprattutto Piseth, vi guiderà e risponderà a tutte le vostre preoccupazioni. Mi sento come avevo una casa in Cambogia. Ci hanno permesso di accedere al 2am (scusate di disturbare il vostro sonno 😬). Hanno tutto quello che avete bisogno qui. Chieda solo Piseth. ☺️

Scegliere questo posto in cui soggiornare è stata probabilmente la decisione migliore che potessimo mai prendere. Innanzitutto, il posto ha una piscina. In secondo luogo, la colazione che può essere adattata alle vostre esigenze (il set base è un piatto principale + pane + frutta + caffè). Terzo, è a 10 minuti a piedi dalla fermata dell'autobus Giant Ibis, il che è molto comodo. In quarto luogo, le camere sono pulite e dispongono di tutto il necessario. Siamo arrivati ​​all'hotel già alle 5 del mattino e Rithy ci ha accolto, ha aggiornato la nostra camera e ci ha permesso di effettuare il check-in anticipato. In realtà ha trascorso tutti e tre i giorni con noi, prenotando tutte le attrazioni, fornendoci acqua fredda e portandoci in ogni singolo luogo dalla mattina presto fino a tarda sera sul suo tuk-tuk a un prezzo ragionevole. L'esperienza è stata fantastica e Rithy ha contribuito molto a questo 😊 Grazie per la meravigliosa accoglienza!

Ho prenotato una stanza a questo hotel attraverso Trip.com all'epoca che mi stava viaggiando a un bilancio stretto e le foto delle camere facevano sembrare più spaziose di quanto fossero. Il mobilio e il letto hanno preso la maggior parte della camera, non c'era una cassetta di chiusura e un volante è stato tapizzato sul muro informando gli ospiti che la televisione via cavo non funzionava e ci ha dato dettagli del wifi gratuito. Mi sono messo sul letto confortevole e mi sono reso conto che non potevo stare qui per una settimana, quindi ho controllato per trovare un altro hotel. Il personale era bello e si tratta di un piccolo hotel freddo per il viaggiatore di bilancio, ma senza TV funzionante e senza cassaforte nella stanza, lo consiglio per un breve soggiorno.

Wow, what a Fantastic Hotel. Amazing room and amenities. I had the best time there in all. Great bed, shower, towels, breakfast and service from the staff and moto drivers. The location is close walking distance to Pub street, but far enough away to hear nothing. Lane way access is rough and not sign posted, but well worth the trouble. I would highly recommend staying at this Hotel. I’ll be back.

“Bela esperienza!” Ho trascorso 4 notti in missione e posso dire che tutto era in ordine. La posizione dell'hotel è molto vicina alla mia destinazione, così come alcuni altri centri nel centro della città Siemreap. Consigliare questo hotel a chi vuole stare vicino al centro e alla strada pub.

The staff here are very friendly. The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the river, which has a night market and a lot of other nice restaurants. The hotel staff seemed confused when we checked in and for some reason the Wi-Fi wasn’t working right then, but we figured everything out eventually.
