Set in the city’s highbrow area of Ikeja, 3 miles from Murtala Muhammed International airport and ten minutes from the commercial district of Allen Avenue, is the luxury boutique CitiHeight Hotel. It is also in the vicinity of several global hotel brands including Ibis, Sheraton and Radisson Blu. Having booked our holiday straight after the Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s July 19th announcement, my daughter and I took our first post COVID-19 international trip in search of some culturally relevant inspiration. Lagos was a great option as it is on the UK government’s amber list of countries and a destination where we could really get immersed in the culture. Our UK airport experience was hectic to say the least, and we arrived a day later than scheduled. Even the most-prepared traveller is advised to have two or three back-up plans in case of “incaseities”. I sent a quick email to the hotel, explaining the last minute change in plans and luckily for us, Banji, the hotel manager was very accommodating and sympathetic to our plight. Upon arrival, we were treated like VIP’s by the polite and friendly hotel staff who took our luggage and escorted us to our room on the 6th floor. Prior to our travel, we had made reservations through booking.com and in response to our welcome email, we made a special request for “a high floor with a birds eye view”. While our preference was peace and privacy, we anticipated endless trips down to the restaurant and bar. Our executive room was pretty much like the photos on the website. Palatial, lustrous and spacious, featuring a plush king size bed with bespoke bedside cabinets and an inviting lounge area. Alongside the usual amenities, there was the obligatory hand sanitizer, but I couldn’t help but notice the bold and intriguing artwork decorating the walls. What a fantastic way to showcase emerging as well as established artists. CitiHeight is a luxury boutique hotel, on par with international standards, and I would go as far as calling it an ‘art hotel’ considering the vast art collection and attention to visual aesthetics. The allure for me was the authentic art pieces dotted throughout the hotel. From the hotel entrance, to the lobby, restaurant, and on every floor. I saw choice object d’art pieces that fused local elements of traditional art within the luxury architecture, giving the hotel a sense of high-end opulence fused with contemporary cool. I began to envisage a ‘classic meets contemporary’ theme for a photo shoot. Tip: Take some Instagrammable shots around the hotel (Do not touch artwork). Pool Life: When it comes to ‘pool life’ at CitiHeight, just grab a sunbed and relax. Although the pool lacks an outside view, poolside was a popular hangout for my daughter and her friends. Since it had a private/secret garden feel that was ideal for swimming, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun during the day. The room was beautifully chilled, with the AC working flawlessly. Immaculately clean and tidy, a lovely, comfortable bed. Breakfast was outstanding, served by attentive staff, and Sandip the front of house even stopped by to say hello when I was eating breakfast. They kindly let me park my new car on the the front section. Truly, what’s not to love?❤️ thank you Movenpick Lagos, you are a shining star amongst hotels of quality.

During my recent stay at Park Inn by Radison, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and comfort offered. From the moment I checked in, the staff displayed remarkable hospitality, ensuring every need was met with a smile. The room was impeccably clean, well-furnished, and thoughtfully designed, providing an atmosphere of relaxation and luxury. Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel pulito per 2 settimane durante le nostre vacanze estive. Tutto funziona in questo hotel. L'ascensore è affidabile, acqua calda e fredda con pressione ragionevole. Il ristorante è aperto 24 ore e il buffet di colazione ha standard accettabili. I loro tassi sono ragionevoli. Il personale è cortese e utile. I portatori sono utili durante il check-in, ma possono fare con più portatori per aiutare con bagagli a mano nei giorni successivi

Nel complesso devo dire positivo a parte le discussioni per quello che doveva essere di routine per un struttura Radisson.Mi dispiace che per circa una settimana ho dovuto perdere del tempo con il personale per avere quello che sarebbe stato dovuto a regola e policy Radisson,visto la mia esperienza in quelle strutture da lungo tempo.-

Il 4 notti di soggiorno a Ivy Emerald è stato un ottimo e respiratorio esperienza. L'ambiente è molto pulito e bellissimo. Le camere sono ben decorate con strutture completamente funzionali. Il personale è molto amichevole e accogliente, perché sono sempre disposti ad aiutare. L'unica area che richiede un miglioramento è la colazione, perché ha opzioni limitate e il buffet si svolgono rapidamente. È stato un buon soggiorno generale e ben consigliato.

This is a well furnished, comfortable hotel and it’s my second time staying here. However I doubt I’ll return again. This is because there is now a music kiosk in front of the hotel that insists on blasting music so loud it’s impossible to sleep. It’s that bad. The hotel management have refused to do anything about it or report it. The noise comes right through the closed windows. Sadly this will cost this wonderful hotel a lot repeat business. No customer is going to come back to suffer this noise oppression. The noise has definitely robbed it of a five star rating.

I was very impressed with Leola. I searched for top-rated hotels in Ikeja area and it came up. The name did not impress me, but the pictures did. Then what I met there impressed me further. The place is neat. Bathroom is clean. The only minus in my shower is the white silicone at the corners of the shower. It could have been done better, or use grey cement for perfection. I like the comfort of the place.

Visitare una protea in Nigeria era un piacere, ma dal momento che la sua relazione con la qualità di Marriot di alcuni aspetti è diminuita, anche se non ancora al livello del precedente Sheraton in Abuja. Le camere sono OK e i letti fino al normale Sheraton standard. La piscina è bella e la posizione di fronte all'oceano piacevole se avete una stanza con vista. L'accesso all'hotel è via una strada in forma piuttosto povera.. Fitness è piccolo con un paio di palestra, una macchina da ginnastica, un paio di biciclette e un allenatore ellittico manuale. Per me il piacere di una Protea è stato il suo fantastico buffet per colazione. Triste di segnalare che questo non è più disponibile con una selezione molto scarsa, solo caffè istantaneo, nessuna carne o formaggio decente, nessun pasticceria . In generale molto deludente per N14,00 ($30).. Connessione Internet solo circa OK..

I went in to this hotel upon strong recommendation from a friend, I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. I stayed in the Royal Suite which was everything I expected and more. The staff were very friendly, professional and courteous. The entire hotel is very clean, the rooms nicely appointed and the decor very fitting. The gym met my workout needs. The breakfast options are somewhat limited, but one could always find something to eat from the buffet. The restaurant serves very good food for lunch and dinner, my guests and I enjoyed all the food we ordered. The TV channels definitely need to be clearer and finally the hotel needs to do away with the cheap toilet papers in the toilets/bathrooms. These are the reasons for not getting 5 points. I will definitely return to the hotel anytime I am back in Lagos

Hotel carino, 24/7 elettricità, camere sono pulite con letti comodi, il manager Amarachi Kalu è una signora molto piacevole, il wifi è molto erratico, quindi se si sta pianificando di lavorare, portare la tua dongle per evitare lo stress, Prepari per le nuance nigeriane come un asciugamano in bagno per 2 ospiti! , (dovete chiedere ogni giorno extra),carte chiave che disattivano ogni volta che uno di noi lascia le camere! , colazione è solo per un ospite- l'altro paga! Io ero con mio marito per due settimane e abbiamo cambiato le stanze quattro volte a causa di problemi che avrebbero potuto essere evitati con i controlli adeguati. Il personale è molto piacevole e affidabile, i nostri beni sono sempre stati lasciati dove li abbiamo messi, niente è andato perduto. Il cibo era medio, credo che ci sia bisogno di più varietà. Il tè /coffee e la caldaia fornita in camere, il tavolo di ferro/acciaio non è standard, è necessario chiederlo, se sei fortunato, si ottiene immediatamente altri giorni sono colpiti e persi. Ci sono diversi cibi, negozi e supermercati vicino.

I had a good time, the ambience and serenity was amazing. Good customer service and there are so many nice locations to take pictures. We also enjoyed the buffet at the restaurant. The pool was nice, but I’d suggest that there’s a bar there with nice music. I also enjoyed the massage at the spa.

Sono rimasto qui per una settimana di lavoro. Questo hotel ha un ottimo servizio dalla ricezione alla custodia alla camera. La stanza che ho ottenuto è stata spaziale e molto tranquilla - grande per un buon sonno notturno. L'hotel ha un ottimo centro benessere e spa. Il cibo è di alta qualità, ma non particolarmente creativo, e nessun piatto principale a base di piante.

Riviera Hotel provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, which made me feel right at home. The environment was clean, the rooms were big and comfortable, and the bed gave off a homely feeling. Best of all, I didn't have to look far and wide for good food because the fine dining restaurant, Oceans5, is located right beside the hotel.

wanted something different this weekend than our usual sceenery & locations. grounds are clean. staff is helpful, approachable and knowledable. ALL STAFF DEPARTMENTS SHOWED/ENABLED TEAM WORK accountability-which is rare ESPECIALLY for a chain(that'z evidence of TOP NOTCH professionalism). food was decent, room service is 24 hrs and there's a variety of cultural dishes from all ova the world. pool side is cool, there's also a cabana for those who wish to get cozzzziiieeee. also sitting area just for talking, sceenery, business/whateva. the rooms were decent size for the price and heart of the location. there are many entries within walking distance, local atms/bank branches along side. THEY DO NOT HAVE A ATM on site. above average on fridge in the rooms-you won't disappointed very sheek and above average on television size AND BRAND{trust me on this one, i am a travel nurse i have traveled MUCH}. from my experience all their rooms seem to have a sitting area within it-not usual for most hotels just anotha added benefit when lodgin with victoria crown on victoria lsland in lagos. the tubs are VERY deep-which is romantic and suffice for those looking to add to the moment OR just a great tub bath. BUT not very age friendly though, for the kiddies not safe for the disabled/matured/seniors/elderly a huge precaution/fright. YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL when getting out. not even a grab bar is present. all marble and glass. VERY VERY nice restroom and set up though. very update, with crown molding and all its extras. laundry service is great prompt on return and honest. NOT LIKE THE SHEARTON 4 POINT: all MY CLOTH returned bacc to me.......hhhmm. wifi connection wasn't that great. channel selection was fair. there is a bar and restaurant on site as well. my expereince with the gatemen the duration of my stay while going in and out was just as pleasant and professional as well. front desk staff presented very neat in uniform, spoke clearly and each were considered anytime we had a question on destination we wish to go, service they offered or in idea of what to eat. there is also a gym. there were children present NONE of which were in age to make inappropiate noises said to mention we had good nite sleep NO LOUD NOISES any of the dates at various times of the day, noon nite or weekend we were present-WHICH IS GOOD lol thank you again cynthia for makin our weekend GREAT EMPLOYEE AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. take care. stephen and bola egedegbe
