Casalay Resort truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff who made us feel like family. Everyone was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — we especially loved catching up with them after our daily activities. It’s those small, personal touches that made our stay so special and unforgettable. The resort itself is a peaceful and beautiful escape — the villas are charming and surrounded by nature. Breakfast was always delicious and filling, the perfect way to start each day. We do have a few small suggestions that might make future stays even better: 1. Blackout curtains on the villa verandas for those who like to sleep in. 2. Clothing hooks in the shower or changing rooms would be super convenient. 3. It would be great to have an option for two queen beds in rooms, especially for friends traveling together. 4. And if all villas are fully booked, we think it would be such a lovely idea for the resort to organize a long dinner or a small evening activity for all guests to connect and enjoy the evening together under the stars. Overall, we had an amazing experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you again to the entire Casalay team for making our stay so warm, relaxing, and memorable. Piece Lio Hotel truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, every staff member was warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. Thank you for going above and beyond to fulfill all our requests and for delivering world-class service. I celebrated my birthday here, and the team went the extra mile to help my partner prepare everything perfectly. Their effort and attention to detail made the experience even more memorable. I also loved the room’s design, modern, minimalist, and very comfortable. Everything felt thoughtfully put together. We will definitely be coming back. Piece Lio is simply the best, you’ll never regret choosing to stay here! L'hotel è buono, un po' vecchiotto, ma nel complesso va bene. Le camere, anche se non nuove, sono tutte in buone condizioni, sono dotate di balcone, piccolo frigorifero, cassaforte, aria condizionata, asciugacapelli, bollitore con tazze e cucchiai, bicchieri, set per fare the e caffè, in bagno c'è una doccia con tutto il necessario per lavare, acqua potabile nei refrigeratori su ogni piano. La pulizia veniva effettuata quotidianamente, i pavimenti venivano lavati, gli asciugamani venivano cambiati, la spazzatura veniva portata fuori, la carta igienica veniva rifornita. La colazione non mi è piaciuta molto, la scelta era poca, a volte c'era poco da scegliere tra i piatti presentati, a volte era ok, inoltre non c'erano prodotti da forno normali, quello che veniva presentato era tutto riso, in un parola, insapore, ma avevano uova fritte e omelette, dovevo ordinare dallo chef. Il personale dell'hotel è molto cordiale, ogni richiesta ha ricevuto risposta e aiuto immediato. La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, tutto è raggiungibile a piedi, la strada principale con negozi e caffè e il mare è a portata di mano.

Questo posto ha superato le mie aspettative per la mia famiglia quando abbiamo soggiornato a El Nido - The Funny Lion (26 giugno - 3 luglio). Il personale è molto cordiale e professionale. Il loro servizio clienti è 10/10. Quando chiedi qualcosa, te la danno subito. Il direttore è stato davvero gentile e disponibile, soprattutto con mia figlia di 2 anni, Valerie. Sono grato e riconoscente per il team di El Nido - The Funny Lion. Vorrei aggiungere alcuni suggerimenti per i miglioramenti: un sistema di drenaggio migliore per la doccia. Sembra sempre che l'acqua esca dalla doccia, soprattutto quando fuori piove. Inoltre, un ascensore sarebbe fantastico per gli ospiti e soprattutto per il personale quando trasporta bagagli pesanti. Il wifi è discontinuo e potrebbe anche essere migliorato, soprattutto all'interno dell'area della colazione. Anche un migliore controllo delle zanzare all'esterno vicino all'area piscina/ristorante sarebbe bello. Le persone nel cortile brucerebbero la spazzatura e il fumo riempirebbe l'intera area dell'hotel e non sarebbe salutare da respirare (vorrei che non bruciassero proprio accanto all'hotel). Probabilmente sto cercando il pelo nell'uovo, ma a volte la musica che suona nell'area bar/ristorante non è adatta alle famiglie e usa parolacce. Le camere potrebbero usare un po' di feng shui o qualcosa del genere per farle sembrare più spaziose. Anche l'illuminazione della stanza potrebbe essere migliorata (sembra sempre un po' buia anche con tutte le luci accese).

Overall I do like this hotel as the staffs are helpful and polite to make my stay memorable. Although the hotel is a little distant from Sabang town, they do have speedboat to ferry guests in and out. It has nice room with balcony and sea view for a relaxing stay.

Il migliore di El Nido, senza dubbio. La vista è da morire. Naturalmente le ville sono sul fianco di una collina piuttosto in alto. Quindi nessun tuk locale di Tulsa può arrivare fin lì. Quindi vuoi chiamare l'interfono dall'ingresso e loro ti vengono a prendere. E guidare fino a lì. Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 ed è stato fantastico.

Molto bello luogo con sorprendente sorgente solare. L'hotel glambling è nuovo e stanno ancora finindo di costruirlo, quindi ci sono stati alcuni problemi sia con le camere (sala chiusa senza una carta adeguata ma una chiave molto dura e strana, il faucet del bagno instabile e l'acqua calda nel doccia con un molto insolito Il personale che ha chiesto più volte se avessimo già pagato la stanza con Trip e chiesto prova di pagamento. Offriamo un servizio di navetta gratuito per la città, ma si deve aspettare un po' di solito. In alternativa, quando tornerai all'hotel avrai bisogno di camminare fino a un po' di strada, perché il camion camion non sarà in grado di venire tutto il cammino, ma non è troppo male) Prestano anche un asciugamano gratuito che si può portare con voi ad altre spiagge. Non pulivano la stanza ogni giorno e hanno detto che il servizio doveva essere richiesto perché non entrerebbero in camera senza il permesso. Inoltre la ricezione non è aperta 24 ore, che è un po' inconveniente e chiederebbero di fare un testo su cosa. Per il prezzo pagato e considerato quanto costoso fosse per le Filippine, avrei aspettato meno questioni, ma lo consiglierei ancora per un piacevole soggiorno in el nido.

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Huni Lio. We stayed in the family room. You can comfortably sleep 4 to 6 if you use the sofa. The crew really took care of us. Lio is a nice relaxed respite from the back packer hustle and bustle of Elnido. Dining choices are so tasty. The beach is beautiful. Watch out for big waves and sandflies/ nikniks - cover up, pack antihistamines and insect repellants. Just a few helpful tips and feedback: 1. Improve the brewed coffee that comes with breakfast or waive the charges to serve the coffee from the expresso machine. 2. The laundry and swimmers hanging in balconies facing the mangrove forest won’t dry even after 5 days leaving a stank so bad. We moved our rack indoors to dry in front of the AC. 3. There’s a constart hum and vibration at the end of the room, last bed. Light sleepers should avoid this bed. Finally wish there was a second bathroom lol but overall the waiting and jesting is part of the wholesome family fun.
