The rooms (just regular guests rooms, not even the premium ones) were very spacious and comfortable given their price. The warm atmosphere was very healing and I loved being able to bathe in hot springs after a tiring day of snowsports! Although the hotel seemed quiet from the outside, we saw many guests staying inside and it was a pretty lively atmosphere, which is something I like. The landscape is quite lovely too. Although there was little natural snow, the slopes were still fine to ski on due to their artificial snow machines. The slopes were very beginner-friendly as well, however, as they get more frequently used through the day, they tend to become really icy and difficult to ski on. Overall, I had a great time! It was a shame that there wasn’t snowy weather to match.

I chosen Cottage A to stay in. While there is nothing much to complain about the cute cottage, personally it is a bit too small for me. But nice environment, good and helpful staff and a very convenient shuttle system to bring you around. You can also call an internal shuttle service that can ferry you from your cottage to the newer West hotel for their buffet breakfast. Otherwise you can eat at the East Hotel for either a Japanese meal set breakfast or a Western style set breakfast. The bread is really good and soft. The outlet shopping mall is accessed by their half hourly shuttle bus and you can do your premium shopping there and eat at their various restaurants or at their food court style food outlets.

This is a perfect spot in Nagano if you want to take a break before heading to other parts such as Hakuba for skiing . It is literally right at the station and connected via MIDORI where you can buy groceries and with lots of restaurants. Due to fight delay, we arrived late at night at around 10pm. MIDORI shops were all closed but ht path to hotel still open and we can still find plenty of cafes nearby. It has reserved Alpico bus to Hakuba right at hotel or you may go to the regular bus stop at bus station 26 for higher frequency of bus service. Will definitely stay here again if we need to stop over at Nagano. Though the hotel is not new, it’s spacious and clean enough for a comfortable stay .

Mi piaceva la mia stanza, era pulita, moderna e confortevole.L’unica cosa che mi sorprendeva era che la finestra al balcone non si apriva, anche se credo fosse cosi' progettata. Il ronzio era assolutamente meraviglioso, spazioso, rilassante, e con una bella vista su un fiume di montagna. L'hotel offre anche molte aree diverse per il tempo libero e il divertimento. Puoi giocare a tennis da tavolo, rilassarsi in zone confortevoli di riposo, visitare piccoli caffè e negozi ci sono molte cose da esplorare senza nemmeno lasciare l'edificio. Il colazione e la cena erano deliziosi, con una vasta gamma di cibi da scegliere, ma, a causa del numero di ospiti, era un po' difficile per il personale gestire tutto in modo ordinato. In due occasioni, qualcuno quasi prese la mia tavola, anche se avevo già messo sulla carta di prenotazione per mostrare che era stata presa. A dated hotel just off the Prince Karuizawa Outlets. Short drive away from the Old Karuizawa Ginza so the location is lovely. The coin laundry was just 2 washers and 2 dryers serving 70 + rooms so the wait can be long.
