Hotel a 4 stelle in Somerset, Regno Unito

Il lobby dell'hotel e il colazione erano molto carini. Tuttavia, abbiamo avuto qualche problema con la nostra camera. Il letto matrimoniale era molto piccolo, e la camera che eravamo assegnati inizialmente non corrispondeva alle foto mostrate durante la prenotazione. Quando abbiamo sollevato le nostre preoccupazioni, il personale ha fatto del suo meglio per accoglierci, che apprezziamo. Purtroppo, il processo ha preso molto tempo e ha comportato molteplici cambiamenti di stanza. La stanza finale che ci è stata assegnata era molto meglio e soddisfaceva le nostre aspettative. Se ci fosse stato dato questo spazio fin dall'inizio, la nostra esperienza complessiva sarebbe stata significativamente più positiva. Sembra che alcune camere siano state ristrutturate e siano molto più nuove, mentre altre sono più vecchie e meno riflettenti delle immagini pubblicizzate online.

The hotel is situated on a beautiful road with amazing buildings surrounding it. It is pretty much a stone’s throw away from where all of the shops, bars, and cafes are. The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling as they greet you. They act professionally and even give you ideas and suggestions for tours. The room we had wonderfully tall walls and high ceiling, however, the carpet for the floor hurt our feet to walk on, so I would suggest taking slippers (we did not take any unfortunately). All in all, it was a great place to stay with a delicious breakfast the morning after. Would definitely stay there again.

Quite an old hotel, which has managed to preserve it's historical rooms beautifully. I do warn that the rooms can become quite chilly at night especilaly when the heating isn't turned on in september. And the windows could barely open so you constantly have to keep them open. But otherwise it's still a very beautiful old hsitorical hotel that I could appreciate. I do admit the price was quite high, for the small room I got, especially considering it was usually supposed to be shared between two people. Not great value for money, but definetly can appreciate its history and beauty.

I booked two rooms through Trip.com, but upon check-in, the front desk staff initially provided only one room for some reason. We had to go back and speak to them to get the second room. The rooms ended up being on different floors—one on the ground floor and the other on the second floor—which was not ideal for a family trip. (I had specifically included a note in my Trip.com booking requesting adjacent rooms on the same floor.)

Un soggiorno molto piacevole a Bath, con una posizione molto grande e un eccellente personale che ha reso l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. L'hotel è ben situato, rendendo molto conveniente esplorare il bagno a piedi. Molte delle principali attrazioni, ristoranti, caffè e aree commerciali della città sono a pochi passi, che è particolarmente utile quando si visita per la prima volta e vuole sfruttare il vostro tempo qui. L'hotel è moderno, confortevole e ben mantenuto, offre un bel equilibrio tra essere un luogo rilassante e avere tutto quello che ti serve per una pausa urbana. Il servizio del personale è stato molto utile, tutti noi incontrati erano amici, benvenuti e professionali, facendoci sentire bene curati per tutta la nostra permanenza. E' sempre bello quando la squadra fa davvero un sforzo per assicurare agli ospiti di avere una piacevole esperienza, piuttosto che semplicemente passare attraverso le mozioni. La combinazione di un comodo hotel, una posizione conveniente e una grande ospite ha reso il nostro soggiorno a Bath molto piacevole. In generale, un buon hotel con una grande squadra e un ottimo luogo. Un'esperienza molto piacevole, e certamente in qualche luogo, mi piacerebbe stare di nuovo sulla mia prossima visita a Bath.

Amo la casa di Charlton, è davvero ricco. Il modo in cui è stato stilato è davvero insolito. Ti fa sentire come se fossi in un mondo di fantasia con i piccoli corridoi e piccoli ricci e crani. Per me è stato un lavoro, ma capisco per coloro che non lo fanno un'offerta e pagano un sacco di soldi per rimanere lì. Capisco come potrebbero dire che è un po' sporco, un po' stanco, un po' di grubby e ha bisogno di un po' di TLC. ...un uomo molto dolce che stava correndo in giro facendo tutto molto, e il resto del personale era nascosto dietro le porte o non lì. Non sono sicuro... c'erano del personale presente nel bagno e sono carini, aiutanti e gentili. La mia piccola stanza era bella, carina e accogliente, e abbastanza pulita, anche se era tatuata in luoghi. Per me, avevo un bel giorno e sarei sicuramente tornato. Il colazione era estremamente basilare, ma non ho avuto aspettative estremamente elevate, e non sono una persona per il colazione, quindi ancora una volta non può fare la scatola per gli altri, ma ha fatto il lavoro per me. L'hotel è attraente e pieno di fascino, con un piacevole aspetto che affronta la chiesa, ma la zona circostante di Bridgewater è piuttosto inclinata. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto provare il ristorante, perché era chiuso per il giorno del Padre.La nostra stanza era buona, e aveva una grande bagno con doccia e bagno separato. La camera era confortevole e ben attrezzata con te, tavolo di ferro e asciugacapelli. A causa dell'età dell'edificio, c'era un sacco di rumore da parte di residenti che camminavano nelle stanze sopra le nostre, ma non era troppo ostruttivo.Il colazione era molto buona con una scelta di inglese o continentale completo e la mia allergia al glutine era curata. Se dovete rimanere a Bridgewater, allora consiglierei The Old Vicarage, ma probabilmente ci guarderemo nei villaggi più lontano dalla città in futuro.

We stayed in Apartment 5 for two nights on our way back home from Cornwall to break up our trip. We had a lovely time and Bath is one of our favourite cities. As for the apartment, the location was both good and bad The good: A few steps and you're right next the Roman Baths and Abbey, with a variety of excellent cafes, restaurants and bars The bad: This apartment backs onto the backdoor of the neighbouring Thermae Bath Spa, where every morning at 8am you will be woken up by the crash banging of trolleys of towels being loaded and unloaded into lorries. Th other issue is the TVs don't have any streaming apps on them, only freeview. Pretty useless wall decorations really. No watching a film or anything from the comfort of your bed. Best Food & Drink / Highly Recommended: Cafe Pastel, Oak Restaurant, Corkage, Raven Pub, The Gin Bar, Bandook Indian Restaurant, The Hideout Bar

We had an amazing stay at The Bailbrook House Hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and all the food was excellent. We had a small issue at breakfast as were quite late coming in for it and some of the fruit had gone, however having said that the poached egg and avocado on sourdough I had was to die for, and was delicious, and the full english was very good too. All in all it was all very enjoyable stay and would definitely return, and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

We stayed here during the Jane Austen festival and had a wonderful time! The workers are super friendly and helpful, great to ask any questions about Bath. The place has an old-school style that is so very charming. There’s a bit of wear and tear, but it doesn’t feel dirty or run down at all, just adds to the classic charm of the place. We had the Executive Room with Garden View and it was just lovely! I felt like a princess. The lounge and gardens are also beautiful and fun to take a look at. Just a heads up, if you’re going into the city centre by foot, it’s best to walk down to the centre, bu take a bus up to the hotel. The walk is very uphill. Definitely give this place a try!
