Apex City of Bath Hotel

A very pleasant stay in Bath, with a great location and excellent staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel is well located, making it very convenient to explore Bath on foot. Many of the city's main attractions, restaurants, cafés and shopping areas are within easy walking distance, which is especially useful when you are visiting for the first time and want to make the most of your time here. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable and well maintained. It offers a nice balance between being a relaxing place to stay and having everything you need for a city break. What really stood out was the great service from the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming and professional, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. It is always nice when the team genuinely makes an effort to ensure guests have a pleasant experience, rather than simply going through the motions. The combination of a comfortable hotel, convenient location and great hospitality made our stay in Bath very enjoyable. Overall, a good hotel with a great team and an excellent location. A very pleasant experience, and definitely somewhere I would happily consider staying again on my next visit to Bath.

It was bit of a trek from the central station however, the pool they have got was amazing. It is really close to Sainsbury's so its nice to save some money.

Quiet room, very convenient location, easy access to big supermarkets and to city centre, hotel staff very friendly and helpful, sockets near bedside and abundant supply of toiletries for showering/bathing.

We stayed one night at Apex City of Bath Hotel. The location is excellent, and the night‑shift manager was quick to respond when we raised our complaint, however our overall experience was really poor because of repeated hygiene problems with the beds. It was nearly 11 pm and we were ready for sleep, when we discovered mould‑like marks on the bed sheets in our original room. We contacted the duty manager straight away, and we were moved to a different room without delay. Unfortunately, on arriving at the new room, we found hair left on the fresh bed sheets. We were exhausted and very late in the evening; otherwise we would have asked to check out entirely. A member of staff then came to replace the full set of bedding for us. During the bedding change, further issues were uncovered: visible yellow stains on the mattress underneath, and yellow stains also on the duvet itself. While the staff tried their best to resolve the situation at such a late hour, it is unacceptable for a 4‑star hotel to have multiple bedding‑related cleanliness failures across two separate rooms. We felt uncomfortable for the rest of our night. We hope the hotel will carry out a full review of its housekeeping standards and mattress / duvet condition.

We had a wonderful stay at Apex Hotel Bath. The location is perfect, it’s very convenient and within walking distance of many of Bath’s popular tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops. The hotel amenities were excellent, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The staff provided great service throughout our visit; everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bath!

Location was perfect for the theatre and restaurant booked. Room was sumptuous, clean, modern and spacious. Great service from all the staff. They seem happy to see you. Breakfast has variety and was tasty

Rooms are of a good size, centrally located. They kindly upgraded up to a family room. If you are sensitive to noise, avoid the rooms that are facing the road as there is ongoing construction. Noise was minimal.

It was my birthday and it’s worth it. Room with beautiful Birthday decoration gives you awesome vibes.
