Hotel a 4 stelle in Queensland, Australia

Excellent resort. Very large, with 3 fantastic swimming pools, bar, restaurant, mini golf, pedal karts, and many activities to do within the resort. The location is good, only 10 minutes from the center by car. Tidy and clean rooms, with cool air conditioning that helps with the hot Cairns weather. We would definitely return.

We arrived after office hours and appreciated that the check-in process was straightforward and easy to follow. However, the park's location is a bit far from supermarkets and major attractions, which made getting around less convenient for us. The facilities are mostly shared and not quite suitable for our needs. Unfortunately, all better-equipped units were fully booked, so we couldn't upgrade. We also found the Wi-Fi signal in the room to be quite weak. Due to these factors, we decided to cut our stay short and checked out after just one night.

Hotel is next to star ****** and walking distance to board beach. Hotel is looking pretty new and in fact, has been opened for few years. The only down side was the house keeping on one of the night. We booked for 3 rooms for 3 nights, on the first day, the house keeping was completely messed up. 3x Rooms did make up (partly) with soil towels (one of the room only has bed tidy up, nothing else) and etc were collected, however, no cleaned towels replaced, bin still full. Without this drama, this hotel is good.

We enjoyed the stay, the apartment was clean and had good facilities including washing machines, dryers and dish washer. It is in walking distance to waterfront, supermarket and good restaurants.

La posizione è molto comoda a pochi minuti a piedi da negozi e ristoranti. L'appartamento era pulito e con una splendida vista sul botanic garden e il fiume. La piscina un po' piccola ma piacevole.

Finding my room was like a maze but once I was inside it was so beautiful and big. If you’re a big partier then this is perfect for you because the rooms are right next to the bar and pool but if you’re not then get some noise cancelling earphones

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Stay! We stayed in the 2 Bed Family Villa at Chinchilla Motor Inn and couldn’t have been happier. The villa was modern, spotless, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is excellent, convenient yet quiet, making it perfect for families. What truly impressed us, though, was the amazing service. Our daughter accidentally left her beloved Kindle behind, and the staff went above and beyond to help. They carefully packed it in a bubble-wrap envelope and posted it back to us free of charge, even though we offered to cover the cost and their time. It arrived safely, and we’re so grateful for their kindness and honesty. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We’d highly recommend Chinchilla Motor Inn to anyone — fantastic facilities and even better people!

Everything was perfect. One thing to improve is the bed which was a bit soft and saggy.

Biggest downside is the carpark, the price is reasonable at $25/day but the carpark itself is what nightmare is made of. Definitely do NOT park here if you have a large or long car or have no one to spot for you. It is small with multiple concrete pillars producing very tight corners. It is the worst carpark i've ever been to. Located on the edge of CBD and on top of a hill so it's quite tiring to walk to and from CBD but it is definitely doable but not the most convenient compared to other hotels within CBD. Otherwise room is clean and is as expected of any mercure facility. Staff are friendly. has a heated outdoor pool which is fantastic. I've had a very nice stay here apart from stress of driving in the carpark.
