Hotel a 4 stelle in Queensland, Australia

La posizione è conveniente se si desidera stare lontano dal centro della città e evitare un parcheggio pubblico costoso. Un po 'di rumore a causa della strada principale, ma in generale va bene. Mentre l'hotel offre parcheggio sul posto, è costoso a AUD 40 per notte, e gli spazi di parcheggio sono molto stretti e limitati. La stanza non è dotata di un kit di amenità, ma un punto più importante è che comprende un frigorifero, una microonde, e alcuni utensili di base, bocche e piastre. Ho apprezzato la piscina supplementare nella stanza... mentre piccola, era meglio di niente. Il bagno è mal progettato e quasi impossibile lavare la faccia lì senza colpire la testa sulla fiamma! Il bagno è buono, ma il pavimento è bagnato facilmente perché non c'è una cortina di doccia per bloccare l'acqua dall'area igienica. Inoltre, non ci sono igiene igienica diverse da shampoo di base, gel da doccia e condizionatore. L'hotel non dispone di un servizio di lavanderia in casa, ma c'è un lavastoviglie situato nel parco aperto direttamente dall'alloggio. Per cena c'è un McDonald's e KFC vicino, a circa 5-minute passeggiata.Altrimenti, si può guidare, perché forniscono il proprio parcheggio. Il colazione è estremamente basilare, composto solo da pane, tostapane, frutta, latte, caffè e tè.Le staff sono molto amichevole e ti fa sentire come a casa

Location: on the southern end of Surfer's Paradise, the quieter end, just behind the Q1. General notes: it is NOT a hotel. It's a serviced apartment. Put it into context & you'll be fine. The location is convenient. There's free resident parking. The staff are polite & professional. Club Wyndham is a time share operation, which they will try to gently push for. Thank you Felipe! There is a cafeteria onsite which serves breakfasts & meals on a schedule. The parking is free which is a remarkable bonus. There's free WiFi. 3 lifts service all floors and are generally efficient given the 17-18 floors. As of 2026 May, there are major renovation works being carried out, which shows they care, but do expect construction noise during your stay until it's complete. They should be more upfront about it to avoid upsetting the easily outraged customer, I felt. SO BEWARE!! Do check with them before you book Rooms: as a rented apartment block, more akin to Airbnb with a reception, do expect that each unit will vary in furniture & fittings, so be wary of the bad reviews as in general not all units are the same. From an objective perspective, the unit was well appointed & functional to a moderately good level. Just don't expect 4 star hotel level finishings. But it's good enough on the whole. There's air conditioning that works well, a large screen TV, kitchenette with cutlery & tableware, and a dishwasher, fridge & microwave. There's a washing machine & dryer as well, for the clothing. The sofas are comfortable & clean. There's a balcony which, if ocean facing, are ideal for the sunsets and smokes. Read: great views! The TV provides the usual terrestrial channels as well as a Club Wyndham cable like channel tv with a reasonably wide selection of video movies. There is a nice complimentary selection of tea bags, coffee & chocolate powder provided. Rooms: the single beds are rather narrow & small, but adequate. Not the best I've experienced, but good enough. The mattresses are very comfortable, soft & plush, not hard. The pillows are also very comfortable. The only thing missing in the room was the inadequate provision for clothes hangers & racks. Baffling to not provide clothes hangers in the wardrobe cupboard. Inexplicable. There's a small TV screen provided in the bedrooms too & an individual air-conditioning control console for the bedroom itself. Bathrooms: generally clean and adequate. All the usual soaps & moisturizers provided. No toiletries are included though. So do bring along your own toothbrushes & shavers. There are plugs for the electric shavers. The complete set of fluffy towels are provided. The shower is not a rain shower but just a shower head. Hot water takes a short while to heat up & The showering Is generally a good experience. Based on my limited experience, it's a good place for a short stay, with the free parking tipping the balance in its favor for most, though for long stays I'm not sure how efficient they will be in providing for extra towels, toilet paper, cleaning services, etc. Though on the surface, they do appear to be up to the task. Again, I would ask about this if you're staying for more than 3 days. Do also check about the renovation noise during the day! Addendum: There's a great Indian restaurant (Delhi Darbar) & a very popular Italian restaurant just downstairs. Also a good Japanese restaurant (Osaka) just opposite.

Ottimo ubicazione, bel appartamento e grandi strutture. Ci siamo davvero goditi del nostro soggiorno e saremmo felici di tornare. Molto consigliato!

Hotel in buona posizione rispetto alle spiagge e al centro. Struttura un po' datata e poco mantenuta (vedi foto). Anche l'interno delle camere dai mobili, alla scrivania, al tavolino, le sedie e il mobile porta tv sono decisamente ”usati” cioè da sostituire. La TV funziona solo con canali locali, quando altri hotel dello stesso livello ti danno la possibilità di collegarti con la rete per usare pay tv/streaming, e YouTube o musica se non ti interessa vedere la tv. Il bagno ha ancora i rubinetti con acqua calda e fredda separati. La doccia ha un unico soffione con getto unico e senza saliscendi per cui se vuoi sciacquare i piedi fai la doccia lo stesso. Insomma i servizi non sono da 4*. Inoltre ho chiesto una camera tranquilla ad un piano alto e mi hanno assegnato una camera al 3° su 8° piani totali. Quindi denota scarsa propensione al cliente, sia all' ascolto che quello che scrive sulla prenotazione e questo è un punto che i manager dell' hotel devono risolvere. Altra cosa che ho notato una sorta di selezione dei clienti in base ai giorni di permanenza e dove hanno prenotato. Se per caso hai prenotato su una delle diverse piattaforme digitali di prenotazioni alberghiere e magari anche hai già pagato, ecco allora ti trattano come cliente di serie B tanto non hai alternative e ti danno le camere meno belle, tanto sei di passaggio. Anche questo aspetto dovrebbe essere risolto da chi pretende e vuole gestire una struttura a 4 stelle in una delle località turistiche più conosciute del sud del Queensland (Gold coast) se vuole veramente rendere felici i propri clienti e non solo negli slogan aziendali (customer focus/driven).

It was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site. Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in. Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in. Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think. I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist. Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!) I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house) So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one. Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit. We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have. If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.

Il personale era eccezionalmente amichevole e attento, sempre disposto ad aiutare con un sorriso. La posizione era anche molto conveniente, con facile accesso alle attrazioni vicine. In generale, era una splendida esperienza, e certamente rimarrei qui.

Had everything you need for a comfy stay, will be back! Would have love to stay longer

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel quattro volte, c'è qualcosa che non va bene quasi ogni volta. Una volta non c'è acqua calda nella lavanderia, ma la doccia è ok. Una volta c'è una fuga nella testa del doccia, questa volta la temperatura nel doccia continua a fluttuare, metà strada si diventa improvvisamente troppo calda, poi si diventa troppo fredda, cambiato tre volte durante il doccia. Non so se sia mancanza di manutenzione o ci sono problemi nel loro sistema di tubatura. Li ho dato il feedback, hanno scusato, ma ho sempre avuto nuovi problemi. Non credo di restare li più.

Localizzazione Il centro surfer è il Paradiso, una posizione eccellente, vicino alla spiaggia e alla luce della notte, ma se siete dopo un sonno tranquillo di notte, non è per voi. Sala Le camere sono grandi ma piuttosto buie.C'è solo una luce in basso all'ingresso, una lampada a pavimento e 2 luci a letto. (Vedere foto) Parcheggio Il parcheggio 4h Street è disponibile durante il giorno. Vorrebbero includere i pantaloncini

Non lasciatevi ingannare dalla splendida hall. Le camere sono vecchie ma pulite, c'è un odore strano, probabilmente dovuto a tutta questa umidità. Il problema che ho avuto è che la corrente elettrica nella stanza in cui mi hanno dato continuava a saltare. È saltata durante la notte e alle 5 del mattino sono sceso perché non potevo chiamare nessuno, la stanza era umida e calda. Un operaio è venuto e ha fatto scattare un interruttore, a quanto pare solo nella mia stanza 1301. Tutto bene. Poi è saltata di nuovo mentre facevo la doccia, sono inciampato uscendo e sono scivolato sulle piastrelle bagnate. Il personale è stato meraviglioso e mi ha cambiato camera. Darei 5 stelle al servizio, ma penso che il servizio dovrebbe includere aria condizionata e illuminazione. Sicuramente i proprietari hanno bisogno di manutenzione e riparazioni.
