YYC008Here's why we gave the experience 3 stars;
First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review.
The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-)
Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor ”inconvenience” when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance.
1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process.
2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance.
Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.

UUtente ospiteStaying on a day whwn the weather was horrible undoutably did not help this being good review as we were unable to use the pool areas or enjoy the balconies or the bikes etc but I have to say I was disappointed in the room itself given the cost. When it costs in the $600 range I expected more. 300 square feet, with one chair, a bench along one wall facing away from the TV and a work space that I can only describe as laughable is less than I expected. I confess if I had paid more attention to the pictures, they were accurate. The quality of the bedding and the towels etc were top notch as were the robes and other aids. The fridge was strange but it met our needs. The lighting was interesting. Lights turned them selves off and on automatically not always when you wanted them to, including in the middle of the night if you did not want wake your partner. When the lights went off in half the room we were startled but it seems this just might be to keep the electric bill down as when we rentered the area they came back on. They tell you the internet and parking are free but are they? They were the only two things I recieved for a $60 resort fee. On the bright side the staff was excellent though they would benifit having a larger check in area. The dinner at their restaurant was outstanding. Beware, that if you have any walking disabilities some rooms not on the first floor are only accessible via the stair way. Our designated room was one of them and we have disabilities. The staff was able to do some moving around and all was well but if you are going to stay there make sure they are aware.

DDawanqutianboDovrebbe essere considerato un boutique hotel di lusso leggero. La posizione è buona e tranquilla. Ci vogliono circa dieci o venti minuti per raggiungere a piedi la famosa Rodeo Drive. Nel mezzo, passiamo accanto a una confortevole zona di ville. Le bellissime casette sono così rinfrescanti. È molto tranquillo di notte, perché è comunque a Beverly, anche alla periferia della città. Inoltre è a pochi chilometri da WeHo e da altre zone di bar, quindi devi prendere un taxi. Il servizio e tutto il resto erano abbastanza buoni. Ho dovuto ascoltare chiaramente quando stavo saldando il conto. Mi hanno quasi fatto pagare una tariffa per il parcheggio perché non guidavo affatto. Non so ancora se il deposito è stato rimborsato.

UUtente ospiteOttimo soggiorno di una settimana! Sono arrivato per un convegno e ho aggiunto un po' di tempo a Disneyland. A pochi passi dal Convention Center, da numerosi ristoranti, da Disneyland e dal parcheggio/servizio navetta di Toy Story per Disneyland. Vista sui fuochi d'artificio dal balcone. Personale disponibile. L'acqua del rubinetto locale non ha un sapore di mio gradimento, ma il distributore d'acqua in bottiglia in palestra ha funzionato bene.

KKI recently had the pleasure of staying at Conrad Los Angeles and it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I felt the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The hotel itself is very new and beautifully designed, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. I’ve stayed in hotels that cost significantly more—sometimes 800 to 900 dollars a night—and yet this one exceeds them all in both quality and value. It truly is the best hotel of its kind, bar none.
I especially want to mention Lila at the front desk. She was kind enough to upgrade my room, and her helpful nature made me feel so welcome. Throughout my stay, housekeeping was excellent—my room was always spotless and well-stocked. Whenever I asked for extra items like a microwave or an iron, the staff brought them to my room right away and made sure I had everything I needed.
The only minor hiccup was with the mini-bar: I removed a few drinks to make space for my own water, and the next day I noticed a charge for using the mini-bar. However, once I let the staff know, they immediately assured me there would be no charge.
Overall, Conrad Los Angeles stands out for its beautiful facilities, attentive service, and superb value. I highly recommend it, and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you again to Lila and the entire team for making my stay so memorable!

KKin LongUn hotel davvero adorabile, in termini di hardware, ma purtroppo sospetto di aver potuto incontrare, come asiatico orientale, una sorta di discriminazione razziale in questa proprietà. Mi è stato chiesto, ad esempio, come ho ottenuto il mio passaporto europeo e, per molte volte, da dove sono stato “inizialmente”. Mi sono stato deliberatamente assegnato con una stanza a basso piano, senza alcuna vista (confrontando la loro stanza di ufficio in un atrio stretto; la stanza nelle mie foto è dopo di me che paga per un aggiornamento).

UUtente ospiteEvery employee was exceptional, helpful and friendly. The location is great except for getting in an out with a vehicle. The rooms were very nice, the bed was comfortable and clean. The two issues I had with the room were promptly corrected by maintenance (bad toilet flush and light bulb which was very loud). The restaurant was good, though the server was not exceptional. You feel welcome at every area within the hotel, every employee greets you as you pass.
Only bad thing that I can say is that, I am allergic to dogs and could tell from the moment I slept in the room that there had been a dog or pet in the room prior. This lead to some discomfort that I was not prepared for. A bit of warning should be given to those with allergies so that other arrangements could be made.

3. Servizio: il servizio della reception dell'hotel è abbastanza soddisfacente e l'atteggiamento del portiere è buono.
4. Dintorni: L'hotel è su un pendio, a due strade da CHINATOWN È possibile raggiungere a piedi l'hotel fino a Fisherman's Wharf, giusto in tempo per visitare tutte le attrazioni;
5. Ristorazione: oltre al cibo cinese, anche il vicino cibo messicano è buono e una porzione è sufficiente per due persone;
6. Sicurezza: ho incontrato senzatetto non lontano da Fisherman's Wharf. Quando li ho visti da lontano sono subito scappato, non li ho incontrati in altri posti e non ho osato uscire la sera, quindi non lo faccio non so se di notte ci siano dei senzatetto;
7. Trasporti: le auto Dangdang e i trenini sono molto convenienti. I telefoni cellulari Huawei e i numeri cinesi (roaming) sono più limitati da usare. Uber è limitato. I taxi sono troppo costosi per la fatturazione in RMB.
8. Se sono anti-cinesi: le persone comuni sono relativamente amichevoli, entusiaste ed educate in superficie, e non hanno incontrato persone estreme che siano anti-cinesi;
9. Esperienza di viaggio: non affollata, i residenti vivono una vita relativamente tranquilla, l'abbigliamento sportivo è popolare, pantaloni da squalo pro capite, città di montagna, frequenti salite e discese, con una media di oltre 20.000 passi al giorno.
