Room was very hot with no air con so none of my business colleagues got much sleep/ rest. A small fan in the room didn't do a lot. Staff weren't the most helpful or clear. We booked a spa hotel so our team could relax in the morning and get a jacuzzi following a long work day the day before. The hotel then told us we had to pay an extra £30 to use the spa as we had booked through trip.com and not direct (which would've been free spa access). It just felt like we were being charged the commission they have to pay booking playforms. Overall I wouldn't book the hotel as we came away unrested and not relaxed. Hotel looked nice, but a bit dated overall.

Staffs are helpful. Hotel room is clean and spacious.

The room was cosy and clean and the staff were for the most part nice. However, one lady at the check in desk gave me some dirty looks simply because of my age and the fact that I got rained on before check in which I did not appreciate. Overall a nice stay however

Un soggiorno confortevole con poche sorprese Come una delle marche di Marriott, mi aspettavo un po' di più, ma in generale, l'hotel fornisce le essenze per un piacevole soggiorno. Le camere sono molto spaziose, con due letti doppi, perfetto per una vacanza familiare. La piscina interna e la palestra sono un bel toccamento, anche se vale la pena notare che gli ospiti esterni possono anche usarlo. Cosa che devi tenere in mente: Parcheggio – There's a £ 7.50 per night charge, which feels a bit steep. The website mentions free parking for conference delegates, so it might be worth asking at check-in. Tasso di detenzione – È applicata alla carta un'autorizzazione preventiva di 50 sterline. Anche se in alcuni luoghi è comune, molte catene britanniche non lo fanno più, quindi pianificate se il vostro saldo di carta è stretto. Esperienza TV – Il sistema TV potrebbe usare un aggiornamento. Menu e funzioni guida non erano disponibili, e la qualità dell'immagine era scarsa anche sui canali HD. Tuttavia, se stai cercando una stanza pulita, spaziosa e buone strutture, è una scelta solida.

Inizialmente ero diretto a Bristol, ma sentendomi un po' stanco a metà strada, ho deciso di fermarmi a riposare in questo hotel in città. Rispetto a un tipico Holiday Inn Express, i servizi qui sono un po' più essenziali e la scelta per la colazione è più limitata. Il parcheggio in loco è piuttosto limitato; ho dovuto parcheggiare la mia auto in un parcheggio pubblico a un isolato di distanza (in realtà non è poi così lontano, solo un centinaio di metri a piedi).

Il personale non era ben addestrato e sembrava sopraffatto, mostrandosi scortese. Forse a causa delle vacanze di Pasqua, ma dalla reception al personale addetto alla colazione, ci saremmo aspettati volti normali e regolari, non sgarbati. Inoltre, questo hotel è al di sotto degli standard Leonardo. Suggeriamo di fornire acqua in camera, in quanto è una prassi comune nel settore dell'ospitalità per questo tipo di catena alberghiera.

Our stay at this hotel left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. While I wouldn't go so far as to say avoid it entirely, I can't recommend it or see myself returning. The room, advertised as having a king-size bed, disappointingly turned out to be a double. Despite the hotel's emphasis on green choices, the room was unbearably warm upon arrival. We had to open both the windows and the door just to cool it down. This lack of basic comfort seemed counterintuitive to their eco-conscious branding. Furthermore, small but crucial amenities were absent, such as a hairdryer, and some lights weren't working. The absence of an in-room phone meant there was no easy way to request these missing items, adding to the overall inconvenience. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The so-called buffet consisted of a small, albeit pleasant, continental breakfast. However, being asked immediately upon arrival if we'd like to pay an additional £10 for a cooked breakfast made the setup feel misleading. At £14.50, the continental breakfast alone did not feel like good value.  The restaurant also had a notice about a £2.50 charge for menu amendments. While I understand the principle of upcharges, this particular policy felt excessive and off-putting. These issues were compounded by a lack of personal touches that form the foundation of good customer service. No one asked at checkout or during breakfast how our stay had been, a small but impactful gesture that could have mitigated some of our disappointments. In hindsight, I feel I overpaid by about 20-30% compared to the value I received. Knowing what I do now, I likely wouldn't have chosen this hotel for our stay.

Solo un servizio eccellente in tutto il mondo. Qualunque cosa abbiamo chiesto - puoi tenere un po'del nostro cibo in frigorifero sì. Possiamo avere un bollo per i nostri cereali, sì, possiamo avere un cappello extra sì, possiamo avere acqua fredda sì. Tutto sì con un sorriso. Il direttore Vishal Chib e il receptionista Kyi Kyi erano solo eccellenti.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Fieldways Hotel sehr genossen. Das Haus hat viel Charakter und Charme und hebt sich angenehm von modernen, austauschbaren Hotels ab. Besonders schön finden wir, dass es sich um ein älteres Gebäude mit Geschichte handelt – solche Orte haben für uns eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist wunderschön und trägt dazu bei, dass man sich schnell wohlfühlt und entspannen kann. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und haben uns dort gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wer historische Gebäude und Unterkünfte mit Persönlichkeit zu schätzen weiß, wird Fieldways sicherlich mögen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel gerne weiterempfehlen. 😊

Ricordo di guardare l'hotel costruito e dissi che non sarei mai rimasto lì! Come sbagliato ero! E' così tranquillo e molto conveniente per tutto. Buona scelta di cibo per colazione, anche glutine gratis! Il personale era sempre gentile e utile, riempiendo il cibo come si usava. Può raccomandare completamente questo hotel e si fermerà certamente di nuovo! Grazie Holiday Inn espressa!
