We recently stayed at Ibis Styles York Centre with my daughter, and it was honestly better than expected. The room was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly well-equipped — we especially appreciated having air conditioning, which made a big difference to our stay. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout, always happy to help and making us feel at ease. Breakfast was another highlight: a great buffet selection with plenty of choice for both adults and children. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and great value for money. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting York.

Excellent stay. The hotel is ideally located if arriving by train. We arrived in the morning and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in early as our room was ready. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a roomy walk in shower. The only thing that would have improved it would have been some drawer space as it only has hanging space in the wardrobe. All the staff were helpfull and friendly. We had an evening meal and breakfast during our stay and both were excellent. We also made use of the leisure facilties during our stay. Overall would highly recommend and if we visit York again would definitely stay at The Milner.

The location is good for the people who will take train in early morning. I would say it is a satisfied place to live, with a huge common area.

La struttura è molto conveniente, situato nel centro di York, con numerose fermate di autobus a 3 minuti a piedi, che rendeno molto facile viaggiare alla stazione ferroviaria o alla partenza del designer. Inoltre, ci sono numerosi magazzini come Santsbury, Tesco e M&S. 10 minuti a piedi dal ministro di York. Viene con colazione complementare e ha molte varietà e deliziose. Da la stanza si può anche vedere il castello di Clifford.

The hotel has a beautiful location. The antique building has been kept in excellent condition. We chose to stay in the Feature Double Room-old Hall. The room was very spacious, with seating area. A coffee machine was also available. Cool drinks in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious, individually cooked, with a wide choice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Lovely welcome at reception. Really helpful with parking. The room was large, lovely and warm and had every thing we needed. The most beautiful setting for breakfast again with friendly and helpful staff. Loved the decorated Christmas trees. The hotel was in an ideal location for Bettys and the shops.

The room description was incorrect. The room was really tight for 5 person. We booked for 1 double bed, 1 single bed & 1 bunk bed, but we get 1 double bed bunk bed & another 1 bunk bed. It's difficult for elderly to climb up the bunk, we ended up pay for another 2 single beds in a separate room. The gave us a little discount for it.

Arrivò dopo un ritardo di 4 ore sul treno, quando gli abbiamo detto al personale di ufficio dove molto utile ci ha dato anche un drink complementare. Abbiamo avuto una camera da letto con un basso livello, pensavo fosse un po' piccola e di base per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato (180 £) 2 sedie da tavolo grande TV e letto. Non c'era vista, eccetto il muro della strada.Ero sveglio dalle 6:00 quando la stanza era sotto la zona da pranzo e penso che la cucina potesse sentire il ronzio e le sedie scagliando il pavimento. Siamo entrambi molto delusi con la colazione.. L'inglese non era solo un po'!Uova scrambled, salsa di bacon grigliato tomate e hash marrone e feci prodotti di scarsa qualità e hash marroni e tomate avevano scaduto un aspettativo di oltre 5 minuti con il resto di cibo che si raffreddava sulla piastra. Carne e formaggio freddo !!! La fetta e il formaggio trasformati senza gusto ... che cosa è successo ai prodotti locali? Personale dove è bello in ogni momento e situato vicino alla stazione

Piacevole soggiorno in questo hotel situato ad un passo dal centro, in una zona tranquilla. Staff gentile e cortese, stanze accoglienti e silenziose. Bagno un po’ datato, ma il resto compensa il tutto.

Room was good, loved that the leisure centre was open till late so could get time at the pool and jacuzzi even after sight seeing. Breakfast was great, nice continental selection, and a picturesque view from the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive. A potential improvement could be the hot water control in the shower - ours was a Deluxe room with bath. The temperature was either scalding hot or ice cold - there was no in-between.
