A lovely hotel in a really good location. Not that far from the railway station and close to the shambles, Christmas market, jorvic centre and the minster. The room was very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The 1 thing I did notice was that the room is exactly as it shows on the booking site pictures - and when I say exactly I mean exactly! It's as if the housekeeping staff use the photos as a reference for how the room is supposed to look. The last thing is the price. We was on a room only basis, but for a room overlooking the river Ouse in that location it was a brilliant price and the cheapest of any of the nearby other hotels I looked at prior to booking. Will definitely stay here again when next visiting York.

L'hotel all'interno è bellissimo e molto pulito
Il personale è molto utile e gentile.
La stanza che abbiamo soggiornato era nei lati e anche se non nella parte principale dell'hotel è stato abbastanza bello per il nostro breve soggiorno e il corridoio dal principale a i lati è molto utile e vi protegge dal tempo, soprattutto nel freddo - mesi.
Rimaneremo certamente di nuovo e speriamo di rimanere nel principale edificio dell'hotel la prossima volta.

Outstanding Experience to stay at this fantastic hotel! From the warm welcome at the door, to a friendly check in, super clean and cozy rooms with modern facilities and super comfortable beds to the Bar at night that offers delicious Cocktails and a great Whisky Selection - you are well taken care of! Just out the door you can reach the city wall and many small Cafe‘s and restaurants, as well as the train station. Valet Parking is 50£, a garage with roughly 35£ per night is just around the corner if you come by car. Would definitely visit again!

Sono tutte ragazze che amano la pulizia.Bene, il mondo non può avere ragazze. E'difficile trovare il buio. Per la prima volta, sono arrivato tardi nel treno, non riesco a trovare la strada a mezzanotte, Google naviga il pollo, e il pollo è andato dall'altra parte, e c'è un piccolo pezzo di pecora, gli occhi verdi, l'unica luce della notte è gli occhi verdi, e i capelli sono caduti.Il giorno dopo ho scoperto che la strada accanto era un terreno di giardino. Il mostro è un uomo, e il giorno è il giorno.

Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo in questo hotel. Il personale dell'hotel era molto amichevole e utile. Le camere erano molto grandi, letti molto confortevoli e ovunque puliti. Ci è una buona selezione di cibo per colazione. Basta per soddisfare tutte le esigenze
Se arrivate presto o restate dopo aver controllato, c'è una stanza per immagazzinare il bagaglio che abbiamo trovato utile.
La posizione è brillante.Solo pochi minuti da tutto.
L'unica proposta che ho è quella di avere un bottiglia di acqua nelle stanze.

Un edificio indipendente, dietro il cortile, può parcheggiare gratuitamente.È un bar sotto, come se fosse ancora operativo fino alla sera.Un po'di sentimenti di hotel familiari.Aprire la finestra (così come quello vecchio spinto in alto che vedrà in TV cinematografica) può vedere il panorama stradale e il palazzo residenziale fuori. E'una diversa esperienza.

Generally all was as expected, and although housekeeping did not come in to refresh supplies, I could easily obtain more teabags etc in the reception area.
I was surprised there was no bath mat, thus the bathroom floor became quite wet unnecessarily.
The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and I would recommend this hotel for it’s location.

UUtente ospiteOn the surface, this cozy place is probably a good bet for a stay in York. It's just enough outside of the city center to avoid all the tourists, but close enough to walk right in. The reservation process was great and the price is good. It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel and, in many senses, it lives up to that status. The staff is excellent. The food and coffee is very good and everyone is very attentive. The rooms are immaculate (heated bathroom floors are amazing!) and the amenities are great. That all said, there are some issues . Often the staff cleans the front area in the middle of the afternoon, which is a rather inconvenient time to clean as it is disruptive to the guests. Though the summer would be different, it was in the low 40's when we were there and heating in the lobby doesn't seem to be a priority for the hotel. We had to have someone set up a space heater for us in the tea room so we could stay warm, which was a bad look (tacky) for them. The biggest issue, however, we that they held a wedding event on the second say we were there. While it's completely understandable for hotels to host events, this particular location is ill suited to do so given the noise level of the event and the small quarters of the hotel. They had a live band, which sent the music to most of the rooms, making sleeping nearly impossible. Though they did move our room, we still heard the band, who played until almost midnight. Having a bunch of wedding guests being loud all lover the hotel also didn't help. The staff agreed with my assessment, which was to either not have events at all or, if they do, block out the rooms from being rented since it is impossible to merge the hotel with an event space. it's just too small. Ultimately, they need to make a decision about who they are as a brand, event space or 4 star hotel. I'd pitch they choose hotel because that is what it really is.

UUtente ospiteIt was an ok stay but for us we didn’t realise we booked when the football was on and the away fans had pretty much booked the hotel and to say it was noisy was an understatement.
Staff were friendly enough but didn’t ask us if we wanted Breakfast or if we had stayed there before so seemed pretty sub standard and not really that invested in what they were doing.
We had planned to use the pool but some local kids sneaked in and used it making it loud and unusable during our stay they were just causing problems and the hotel didn’t act.
This is the biggest failing the hotel fails to act we had loud guests door slamming music playing loud football fans going mad till 4am and nothing was done about it.
The beds were not that comfy as sadly neither of us had a good nights sleep on top of the noise by others the rooms offered no sound proofing.
No air conditioning which is crazy in this day and age and not even a fan in the room, when we asked for one we just got laughed at and told good luck with that by housekeeping.
This places lacks staff that care or take pride in their work.
The bathroom had no fan so when used steam went everywhere and the water pressure and temperature was terrible it wasn’t overly clean so couldn’t use the bath.
Only thing going for this hotel is it’s location but we wouldn’t use it again as the rooms need a lot of TLC and the staff need extra training more so on the communication front.
Upon check out we weren’t even asked did we enjoy our stay as we wanted to raise our concerns.

From checking in and our room available early with welcome cookies which were warm and amazing to checkout the staff could not be more helpful!
The room was on the third floor clean, tidy and well presented.
The gym and spa facilities were all good and nice to use and relax especially on a Sunday evening!
The breakfast was buffet with a selection of hot and cold options the parcel machine was my favourite fresh pancakes which were delicious!
This hotel is huge but it's well maintained clean tidy and such an enjoyable experience for our anniversary!

The breakfast had an excellent selection which you could help yourself to.
The one downside was that the walls were quite thin so you could hear people in the next room or talking while passing along the corridor.

UUtente anonimoCi siamo fermati qui qualche anno prima, e ci siamo davvero goditi di tornare per il nostro anniversario, siamo stati al lato opposto dell'edificio, e era ancora delizioso. Abbiamo davvero goduto della separazione del bagno dalla camera da letto con un piccolo spazio di studio. Il luogo cominciava a scendere un po'. Non c'era manipolazione sul bagno, e una delle luci del bagno non funzionava. Il rullino del bagno era di carta sottile e le luci sopra il letto erano perfettamente alte per colpire la testa quando entrava e usciva dal letto, eccetto se ci piaceva il soggiorno. Il personale era molto accogliente e utile e il ristorante era delizioso.

YYouyujunjunziL'hotel è un vecchio palazzo ricostruito. Il giardino di ricchezze molto britannico. C'è un grande campo da golf. Ci sono molti uccelli selvatici, pine e uccelli sconosciuti. La stanza dell'hotel è molto grande, molto comodo. La colazione è molte varietà di stile di pranzo.
