This was my second stay and, overall, another good one. First I,d like to say thank you for something you may not be aware of, my pillow. I have neck problems so when I find a good one that fits the way I need I take it with me. Unfortunately I left it in the room. I called the front desk that afternoon to hopefully get it back, having my daughter-in-law pick it up as she and my son and grandkids live close by. The clerk was very courteous and said it was likely in laundry but couldn't leave the front desk to check. He graciously said he would leave a note and someone could pick it up the next morning. My daughter-in-law did just that. This is a budget no-frills hotel in a safe location. My son and his family live probably less than 2 miles from there so I am very familiar with the area in southeast Huntsville. I can't think of anything you can't get nearby as all the big box stores, numerous gas stations, restaurants, and a few small bars, etc are a stones throw away. As someone that used to travel with work with plenty of weekly and monthly motel stays I know how important convenience and room costs can be. There are cheaper motels nearby but I don't recommend them due to location(safety) and poor past experience as well as inconvenience due to traffic on 72. VIP has a restaurant on one side and a small bar on the other, both just across the parking lots. There are plenty of others within safe and easy walking distance. The room: I'm a smoker and booked a smoking room. Those aren't easy to find anymore. That said, there were signs of it if you looked. Nothing to fault VIP for as I put that on previous guests and the room, at least to me, didn't smell like it. The most important parts, counters, tub, toilet, bedding, etc were clean but the floor, TV remote, and spaces you could only see when sitting down or looking under something could use some attention. There was an issue with the TV box where every time I turned it on to watch I had to unplug the box and plug it back in to get it to wake up. The water was just warm enough for a shower but never any hot water for my preference even after letting it run 3-5 minutes prior. Stayed warm for a long shower but forget about a hot bath. The drain was slow like it needed cleaning out. Not so slow that the shower didn't drain fast enough but slow enough that any water straight from the tub faucet would fill it faster than it could drain. Likely needed cleaning out. Not a housekeeping issue but more a maintenance issue since the ”hair catcher” or whatever you call it would need to be removed. The towels would make good loofahs for exfoliating. A little fabric softener would be a plus. The pillows were flat. Something to address for the next updates. The floors are vinyl, much preferred over nasty carpet that always keeps something for itself even after a thorough vacuuming. The door needs a new weather ***** and/or threshold as I did have one unwelcome guest slip under it. Not the kind you'd have to worry about living there though and I simply evicted him with a flush. I give VIP 4 out of 5 stars. I'm a realist and I know that keeping everything perfect isn't cost effective and could easily increase room rates but I also know that some of the small details would simply take a little more time and attention. I try to be thorough not just for potential guests but also for owners, management, and staff are fully aware of any issues, grievances, or thumbs up. I would definitely stay again.

L'hotel era pulito e in una posizione molto grande per la ragione che ero a Birmingham. Era vicino all'evento che stavo assistendo. Il bagno nella mia stanza aveva un fermaglio che impediva all’acqua di sfuggire quando non volevo che fosse raccolto nel bagno durante attività come lavarmi i denti e lavarmi la faccia. L’acqua era anche fredda e ci voleva troppo tempo per riscaldare un po’, non era nemmeno calda, quindi mi sono accorto e non ho potuto fare la doccia. Mio figlio ha fatto una doccia fredda in un giorno freddo, uno dei più freddi che abbiamo avuto in un po' in Alabama, e mi ha svegliato anche un messaggio di emergenza e un allarme per svuotare l'edificio a causa di un'emergenza solo per scoprire più tardi che era un test. L'ho imparato quando arrivava il furgone e ho sentito un impiegato scusarsi per non averli chiamati a far sapere che era solo un test. Ho solo rimasto la notte, quindi non c'era nessun'altra possibilità per me di avere un'impressione migliore. L'unico motivo per cui non ho dato una valutazione inferiore per le strutture è perché una volta che ho fatto rapporto con la doccia e il bagno, hanno mandato un uomo carino nella stanza per fare le riparazioni, ma mio figlio stava già facendo una doccia fredda al momento che ci era stato previsto tornare a casa per soddisfare gli obblighi previsti. Il personale che mi controllava diceva che non poteva fare nulla per me perché ho prenotato un terzo. Tuttavia, ha dichiarato che avrebbe rimborsato il denaro che ho pagato per il parcheggio.

L'Hilton Garden Inn, a Orange Beach, Alabama, è stato un bel posto! Mi piaceva l'affidabilità dell'hotel. Le mie parti preferite mentre restavano li raccoglievano le foglie sulla loro bellissima spiaggia privata dietro l'hotel, lentamente cavalcavano innertubi sul loro ”river riscaldato” dietro l'hotel e godevano del loro delizioso buffet per colazione. Ogni impiegato dell'hotel che abbiamo incontrato è stato meraviglioso e utile! Ho prenotato una stanza fisicamente disabilitata con vista sull'isola. L'unica parte sgradevole del mio soggiorno è stata l'inondazione dal bagno disabile che ha inondato il pavimento del bagno, ingresso davanti alla stanza, anche bagnando il tappeto della sala. L'ho riportato al desk front, che mi ha ringraziato per averlo riportato. Hanno detto che era perché era una stanza disabile. Li ho detto che non importava ... se era una stanza disabile o no. Gli ho detto che avrebbe dovuto essere preso più cura considerando che era per una persona con disabilità. Che ne dici se fossi caduto sul pavimento umido e ferito? Come mai, mi piaceva l'hotel, ma non consiglio di affittare e prenotare la stanza con disabilità (#415) fino a che queste domande non siano corrette e la stanza, in sé, è aggiornata e questo problema è completamente corretto. We absolutely loved our stay at Marriott Hotel Suites in Orange Beach, Alabama! From easy check-in to easy check-out, everything was smooth, convenient, and perfect for our family’s needs. The hotel was clean and well cared for. While we were there, we noticed staff actively cleaning, vacuuming, and keeping the floors neat, which really stood out to us. We also loved the little shopping area where you can pick up items you may have forgotten at home — such a convenient touch! Our room was wonderful and very family-friendly. I especially appreciated that the room was not fully carpeted. The hard flooring in the living area was perfect after coming in from the pool with wet feet, sand, and towels. It made so much more sense than having carpet everywhere. The pool was amazing, the price was great, and the overall stay exceeded our expectations. We found it comfortable, convenient, clean, and truly suitable for a family trip. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is nice. Not as nice as I thought it would be but its clean. The bathroom could use some updates and some new tile grouting around the tub. But not a bad or gross place. The AC was broken. The chillers were up and down, and no matter what I tried the room temp was getting hotter by the min. When I first checked in the room was 70° F. I set the AC at 67 and 20 min later it was 72°. A few others in the hotel told be they had to be moved to a new room. I did not stay they night, I left at 9pm. Too hot and humid. The staff was amazing and super helpful and understanding. The lady at the front desk deserves a raise. Because the staff was awesome I would consider trying the location again. (After they get the AC fixed)

Ho avuto un piacevole soggiorno all'hotel. Le camere erano pulite, ben mantenute e dotate di tutte le attrezzature essenziali. Il personale era professionale, cortese, e sempre disposto ad assistere con qualsiasi richiesta. La posizione era conveniente, rendendo facile l'accesso alle aree chiave della città. In generale, era una comoda e senza problemi.

Quando arrivato, aspettavano 10 minuti per far comparire il cameriere. Non si scusava nemmeno per il ritardo.Nessun altro in lobby. Arrivato e poi dovevo essere pagato $10 per il canone di indulgenza? e se non doveva essere pagato nulla avrebbe creditato di nuovo per pagare la carta. Gli ho detto che non volevo che la cameriera con i capelli argentati corti con il rosa, diceva che era necessario, e se non lo usava, sarebbe stato creditato al check-out. La mattina dopo, la stessa signora ha chiesto di aggiungere fondi alla mia scheda di credito, ma non poteva farlo, ma avrebbe annunciato al mio dipartimento di carte di credito. A questo punto un giorno dopo, non è ancora stato aggiunto alcun onere. È questa una politica standard? O è questo il modo per i clienti di acquistare snack o prodotti indesiderati dalla vostra zona?

Great hotel right on the beach. The location cannot be beat. I highly recommend the beach view balcony. They have free breakfast that is good. You do have to pay $15 a day to park. They have a parking garage. It says free parking but it is not free parking. You can rent to chairs and an umbrella for $45 per day. They have a pool bar. They have a hot tub. The pool is not heated but is very nice and cleaned every morning. A some portion of the pool is covered. There is a refrigerator in the room. I would recommend bringing your own pillows because their pillows are terrible but other than that it’s a great hotel!
