JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

MM303179****Tre persone hanno viaggiato e hanno trovato una casa per molto tempo. I risultati di altre case che avevano prenotato sono stati improvvisamente informati della casa piena. Il direttore raccomandava la casa. Non avevo aspettato, e quando arrivava il risultato era davvero superprevisto!!!!Il capo ha davvero un buon atteggiamento! L'igiene è particolarmente pulita. Le chiavi del giardino esterno sono molto pulite. È molto comodo 😌 Il giardino è stato decorato con la luce luminosa ✨. Abbiamo davvero un piccolo vento confortevole con le chiavi di chiavi! La stanza prenota aveva offerto la colazione a due persone, ma il capo ha detto che era tutto ok per mangiare, e poi è davvero molto meglio!Non è finito il colazione!Quando si è lasciato la stanza, non voleva trascinare la lara.La posizione è buona, a dieci minuti da Zhuang Village, il ranch di Yiang è anche molto vicino! Il ristorante di 200 metri vicino è anche delizioso!Tre bambini felici in totale 😂

EEmmaA lovely 2 nights stay over CNY. Thank you to Ernest, Terry and the team for making out stay comfortable. Food was very tasty. Served Chinese set meal and breakfast. Room was cozy and warm with underfloor heating. Great view from the balcony. Perfect location for local walks in bamboo forests and to reach local scenic areas. Easy to charge electric car there too.

PPinkGirlIl personale estremamente dolce, molto amichevole e accogliente. Il processo di check-in è stato veloce e veloce. Ci siamo arrivati dopo le 8 di venerdì sera e il desk front era disponibile e ci aspettava. Il hotel /BnB è un hotel amico per gli animali, quindi i nostri 2 bambini non sono stati discriminati e sono stati trattati con grande cura. Jinx è la ragazza al di fuori del dipartimento, è molto gentile, andando sempre a un chilometro extra per noi, anche inviandoci località e attrazioni vicino al wechat. Ci hanno fornito un barbecue DIY sabato sera e ci hanno permesso di avere una festa fino a tutto
Se potessi suggerire qualche cosa, sarebbe:
1. I gatti nel contenitore del gatto non hanno avuto il loro spazio pulito da settimane. Ci sono feci e reti spinaci all'interno del ”spazio”. I gatti non usciranno mai e sembrano molto infelice. Per favore, possono essere meglio curati.
2. Le camere possono essere pulite e pulite quotidianamente.
3. La colazione può essere meno basso ma alcune opzioni alimentari più frutta e più sani.
In generale, sicuramente ci ritroveremmo e ci sarebbe davvero un ambiente così caldo.

UUtente ospiteBuona per prendere belle foto per i social media, ma piuttosto poca esperienza utente. L'estetica di questo posto è buona, alcuni angoli sono davvero affascinanti. E' comunque il comfort che apprezziamo più in un hotel, così come il servizio di qualità e purtroppo non sono allo stesso livello di estetica.
La stanza è grande, ma non ci sono divano né sedie a sedere e chattare confortevolmente, solo le due enormi sedie pesanti all'angolo opposto di questa lunga stanza. Nessuna porta reale, solo alcune porte di stile saloon aperte in mezzo, lasciando fuori l'acqua dal doccia e odori dal bagno. Nessun bagno fornito che è strano per l’hotel who’s main entertainment facility è la piscina all’aperto.
Nella piscina esterna ci sono pochi sedie a ponte e nessuno ombrello.
La comunicazione era povera, soprattutto per via di chat, poiché il personale non parla inglese. Abbiamo chiesto due volte in anticipo l'opzione vegetariana per il colazione e ci hanno portato la carne nel set di colazione (solo cibo cinese disponibile), ma l'esperienza è stata piuttosto deludente. Sono felice di aver prenotato la notte.
Per quanto riguarda l'ambiente, non c'è accesso alla foresta di bamboo dietro l'hotel o lungo la strada. E prendete cura dei cani aggressivi non rilasciati nel villaggio lungo la strada se si decide di andare a fare una passeggiata vicino all'hotel.

UUtente ospiteLa stanza che hanno ordinato per la madre è molto adatta per la gita di tutta la famiglia. È possibile giocare per molto tempo in hotel. È anche molto conveniente andare alle attrazioni. La porta ha anche auto elettriche che possono guidare. L'ambiente della casa è molto utile. La ricchezza può dire che vale molto la pena. Il buon business ci aiuta anche a aggiornare una stanza di scena montana, molto tranquillo, Molto consigliabile, se vuoi stare lontano dalla città e stare tranquillo per un piccolo amico di vacanza, prima scelta!

JJuliaFThis is indeed a nice hotel with beautiful facilities, though there are things to improve , given the high price. Many comments mention that someone has added them on WeChat upon booking, communicating the details of the booking and reminding to make dinner reservations. Unfortunately , nobody has added me and I feel like we missed out many things because of that. For example, we didn’t know that every on-site activity is organized per certain hour , as we arrived around 3 pm we already missed most of them on that day. Also , because of the holiday, the famous castle Chinese restaurant was fully booked for dinner and the next day’s lunch so couldn’t appreciate it . We had to settle for a room service that had very limited options not to mention, was ridiculously overpriced . 300 yuan for three basic dishes like fried rice, stir-fried pork and pork ribs soup, small portions too. Pity. There was a buffet diner happening at another restaurant by the pool, but 460¥ per person seemed too expensive so we passed. Some other small things like broken locker in a changing room or plenty of leaves and trash from the trees in the pool that nobody bothered to clean - felt annoying, again, considering the price per night.
I’d still recommend this hotel for visiting at least once in your life. Service is mostly very good, breakfast more than decent, the heated outdoor pool is lots of fun even with the dry leaves floating on it. They have a game room, “activity village” with many things happening all day round ( watch the time though ) , the room I booked was nothing special but had everything we needed. It’s convenient to move around the territory on a “buggy” , they are very efficient. Only if you have a choice , maybe don’t come here on a national holiday so overall experience would be better.

UUtente anonimoWe just returned from a wonderful stay at Naked Stables, and it was such a memorable experience. This was meant to be the relaxing part of our trip, but with so many fun activities on offer, we found ourselves joyfully busy most of the day! There’s something for everyone — from horse and pony rides to pottery, yoga, archery, billiards, and children’s classes. Some activities are complimentary, while others are paid. There’s also a lovely spa and a large kids’ playroom on-site, which we didn’t have the chance to use this time.
The resort is set in the hills and surrounded by bamboo forests, so hiking to and from your room during the day makes for a great little workout. Do note there are quite a few stairs around the property and in the rooms themselves due to the terrain.
Guests get around by golf cart, which you can easily request through a WeChat mini program. We were graciously upgraded to a two-bedroom villa — a beautiful, cozy space that felt instantly like home. It was so peaceful and comfortable that it was tempting not to leave at all! The villa has a full kitchen and BBQ, so if you plan ahead, you can bring groceries and enjoy home-cooked meals with a view. Upstairs you’ll find the kitchen, living, and dining area, while the bedrooms are downstairs. There’s even a hot tub on the balcony, which our son absolutely loved and used every evening. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious, with a tub by the window that let you soak while taking in the scenery.
The food was another highlight — fresh, flavorful, and truly farm-to-table. The resort’s own farm, just outside the gates, supplies much of the produce. There are three restaurants and a café on-site. The Western restaurant currently opens only on weekends, so during our stay we enjoyed all our meals at the Chinese restaurant, as Kikaboni (the smaller venue) was fully booked the evening we wanted to go. The breakfast buffet offered a nice mix of Western and Chinese options, all of which were delicious.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. While not everyone speaks English, the managers do, and translation apps made communication easy when needed.
All in all, Naked Stables offers a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and activities — a place where you can be as relaxed or as active as you like.

ZZoeVHThe service was the true standout of our stay at this B&B! The owner and his wife were so kind and welcoming to us during our stay. Anything we needed (included a request for a Bluetooth speaker and bicycles to explore the area) they accommodated. We ate lunch once and dinner twice there…the food was simple, fresh, and delicious. On our second night when we requested dinner we were invited to eat dinner with their family and have some beers, which made our stay feel warm and memorable—it was such a nice experience.
Although we are foreigners and have limited Chinese language ability both the boss and his wife were so friendly and thoughtful! Anything you need can be requested on WeChat.
The location is beautiful and tucked perfectly into the mountains (beware though, most restaurants and shops will require at least a 15 minute walk to reach…this didn’t bother us much though because we several meals at the homestay).
Overall, a wonderful stay that we would definitely recommend to others!

The entire camp has such a calm, serene, almost zen-like atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and well thought out. The design and layout of the place are stunning. There’s bamboo growing everywhere, adding to the natural, tranquil vibe. The cabins themselves are pretty modern and clean.
The staff we interacted with was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful - even though there was a language barrier.
Whether we needed a ride somewhere around the camp (which was always available thanks to staff driving around regularly) or had a question, they were always happy to assist. Adding reception on WhatsApp made things even easier – they responded quickly to any requests we had.
The food was amazing. We especially loved the Chinese restaurant – every dish we tried was full of flavor.
There’s a communal pool and other fun activities like paddling, which unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy due to the weather. Still, it’s nice to know they’re available. There’s also a small animal park where one can see peacocks, goats, chickens and ducks. It’s also nice to just walk around the camp.
The views are just gorgeous, and the whole environment encourages you to relax and slow down. All in all, it’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and just enjoy some peace and the beauty of nature.
One small downside was that there was only one coffee machine available at breakfast, which led to a long line. We ended up buying coffee, which was a bit inconvenient—especially since we could’ve had coffee for free. 🤭
I highly recommended Elephant and Moon! Would love to visit again!
