UUtente ospiteWe stayed at this hotel for more than 10 days. When I extended my stay for one more night, I was told that I needed to change rooms and that the staff would call me with the details. I waited all day, but no one contacted me. In the evening, my key card suddenly stopped working, and I couldn’t get into my room. It was only after 8:30 p.m. that I was finally told I had to change rooms.
The room change itself was not the problem. The lack of communication and poor handling of the situation caused a lot of unnecessary inconvenience. This experience also left me wondering whether guests who book through a third-party platform are treated differently. I hope that was not the case, but after staying for more than 10 days, I expected much better service.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel is nice. Don't expect super high standards like in China or Europe due to the socioeconomic situation of the country but honestly, I have nothing to complain about.
The staff was very kind and spoke English, the view from the top is fantastic, rings are clean and nice.
Unfortunately, the breakfast included almost nothing vegan, that's the only downside.

In the immediate vicinity of the central train station.
A 15-minute walk from Sule, with all its bus lines.
A good starting point for exploring the city on foot. Shopping centers are in the immediate vicinity.
A 30-minute taxi ride from the airport.
SERVICE
Excellent welcome and service.
Excellent attention at every moment, whether from the housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, concierge, or the gym/spa/pool staff.
PS: Please note the $200 USD security deposit required for some reservations. This should be anticipated, although it is payable by credit card (check if this option is worth according to your bank's terms and conditions applied for transaction in Myanmar).
ENVIRONMENT
Quiet and safe neighborhood.
Elegant and comfortable hotel. Harmonious and high-quality layout. Impeccable maintenance.
ROOM
Superior King Bed Room: Perfect for one person, with a desk area and a small sitting area.
Bright. Well laid out. Comfortable.
Very good quality bedding. Clean, high-quality linens. Spacious and clean bathroom. Hot water with good pressure. Very good Wi-Fi. Conveniently placed electrical outlets. Excellent lighting.
Luggage storage available (for one bag).
Pleasant city view.
Central air conditioning system. It worked perfectly, but I didn't find the adjustments very user-friendly.
BREAKFAST
Large dining room. Well-spaced buffet area, open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Elegant dining room. I preferred the back of the room for its quietness, privacy, and comfort.
Attentive and courteous staff.
A well-stocked and varied buffet.
Yet, there was a noticeable difference in quality between the buffet, the kitchen staff, and the buffet presentation between weekdays and weekends.
Some of the glass-fronted areas in the dining room were not clean at all: cobwebs, long-standing dust, and general grime. This needs improvement, as it's not what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber.
The buffet occupied most of my mornings; however, I'm not sure I would have wanted to pay an additional $20 USD for it if it wasn't already included in the reservation.
FACILITIES

In conclusion,
I benefited from a very good price offer through Trip.com, which accurately reflected the hotel's value for money.
I was truly delighted with my stay and will keep the PARKROYAL on my list of favorites for a future trip.

Dopo il check-in, tutto sembrava normale, ma alla fine la carta chiave non funzionava. Non capisco perché il personale non abbia informato gli ospiti del malfunzionamento del sistema. Non potevo accedere alla mia stanza e dovevo tornare a informare il personale, il che significava che dovevano scortarmi nella mia stanza. Il personale avrebbe dovuto informarmi fin dall'inizio.

BBaynaa97I had a very good stay at Melia Yangon. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The lobby is big and beautiful, creating a great first impression. My room was very clean with a nice view, and the atmosphere was relaxing.
The breakfast was tasty with many good options to choose from. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangon.

MMarilynKLa nostra recente visita alla residenza del governatore è stata un'esperienza assolutamente eccellente, fin dall'inizio alla fine, e tutto, fin dal momento in cui siamo arrivati, è stato davvero eccezionale.
Il cibo era solo fenomenale, ogni piatto era preparato in modo esperto, mostrando gusti e presentazioni incredibili, era chiaro che l'immenso cura e culinaria si sono spostati in ogni pezzo. È stato anche impressionante il servizio fantastico. Il personale era attento, professionista, e andava oltre e sopra per garantire il nostro conforto e il nostro piacere. Il loro vero calore e efficienza hanno davvero aumentato l'intero pasto.
In generale, tutta l'esperienza della residenza del governatore era fuori di questo mondo. Era un'occasione memorabile che superava tutte le aspettative. Non possiamo raccomandarlo abbastanza per chiunque cercasse una vera esperienza di cena e ospite.

MMiles TretheweyChatruim Lake View Hotel was a superb experience - I stayed here twice for about 8 days in total. The process from Check in to check out was second to none. We loved the hotel grounds, big rooms with a lake view, the breakfast was great too with a good selection of food. The service from the bellboy to reception I can't really complain as they responded to all our requests. We checked out early for a flight to Mandalay and they provided us with a packed lunch. The pool facilities were great - alhough I think the water needs a bit of chlorine for cleaning as it was a bit musky - The hotel was nice and quiet with not too many guest, but service was still there. I'd like to mention the receptionist who is always smiling and so kind and welcoming and listening to our travel stories and requests - La Min and Mr Simon were so helpful, but I can't remember the other names. One thing to note- if you don't have a car, then it's not that central to the center of the city, however, you can easily take a Grab to Shwedagon Pagoda or the center, you can also walk to Kandagwyi Lake Graden and enjoy the sunset - which is only a 15 min walk and there is a mall there, too with a great supermarket. If you need to change money - the hotel recommended 126 Grocery Store - great rates no passport needed just new crisp USD notes. It's near Myanmar Plaza. I will definitely stay there again. We stayed in the Lake View but if you prefer the morning sun on your balcony then you can take the Pagoda view. There is a presendential suite if you have the cash which I was told has a good overall top floor view. I hope you enjoy your stay. This was definitely much better than the Chatruim in Bangkok

Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole e accogliente. Ho goduto un delizioso colazione con una vasta gamma di opzioni per iniziare il giorno.
L'hotel è vicino ai supermercati, ai caffè locali e ai ristoranti, rendendo facile esplorare il quartiere e trovare tutto quello che ti serve a piedi.
Se stai cercando un posto conveniente, comodo e ben situato per soggiornare a Yangon, consiglierei sicuramente questo hotel.

SsonmoonUn hotel di fama internazionale ha i suoi standard. Lo spazio delle camere è opportunamente configurato, la piscina è ampia e comoda da usare e la spa della palestra è piccola ma perfettamente funzionante.

UUtente anonimoL'hotel è in generale grande con buone piscine sauna e ristoranti, ma una cosa è che ci siamo svegliati presto e siamo andati a prendere il buffet per colazione che è incluso nella prenotazione. Il personale ci ha detto che non ci è permesso entrare con pigiama, ma con un codice di vestito selezionato.
