The location is beautiful and the views from the car park assured us we had chosen well. Check in was helpful and all facilities were fully explained at this time, allowing us to book our dining time. The room was comfortable and traditional; the view, amazing! With an afternoon of sunshine, time was taken to enjoy the view in a temperature controlled setting. There was a beautiful tea set and tea provided along with some complementary snacks and water. The toiletries provided were lovely and I shall certainly be looking to purchase these for my home. Dinner was a Chinese style buffet, with an excellent selection of dishes. Barbecues for the table and delicious sashimi and hand prepared sushi. Soups, stews, salad and more! To follow was an assortment of cakes and ice creams. Staff were very helpful and polite and the food was filling and delicious. We then retired to the hotel bar where we were again greeted by a lovely member of staff. Upon return to our room, futons had been prepared and the room made ready for sleep. These were surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious with a huge array of dishes to choose from. Check out was simple and staff were helpful and polite. I will definitely be returning! I

We had a pleasant stay in general. However, room ceaning service needs to be improved. Our group of people have a few bad experiences. 1) after returning to room after the day, there was a used mask left in the bathroom. There’s also a day without providing onsen towels and we had to bring over the mid size ones 2) the door of my friend’s room remained open after the cleaning service (a 3M sticker with なすし2 sticked on wall). Glad there’s no missing items 3) another room, there was blood and urine stint left on the toilet cover! I hope the hotel can take it seriously as it indeed ruins the brand of IHG and bad customer experience.

L'hotel si trova a soli 1 minuto a piedi dalla stazione Morioka. Se hai un bagaglio c'è un scalatore che puoi usare. La stanza era un po' più grande delle tipiche camere d'albergo giapponesi (la maggior parte degli alberghi in Giappone sono piccoli), che è stato bello da quando ho condiviso la stanza con altri due e abbiamo avuto 3 grandi bagagli. C'è un centro commerciale (Fes”an) vicino all'hotel, ha molti ristoranti da scegliere e un negozio di prodotti alimentari qui sotto. Trovo la stanza un po' buia (necessita di più luce), ma l'hotel è in una posizione molto grande e la stanza è più grande della maggior parte degli hotel in Giappone, sicuramente verificherò di nuovo se sono a Morioka.

Amazing view and spacious room. If you are staying 1 night, be sure to visit the onsen at the evening / afternoon, because next morning you get to try another different set of onsen. Good food. Great stay. Front desk was courteous and offered complimentary luggage storage after checkout. Room was nice, well designed and had a small couch which was really great! 10 mins from Morioka Station by bus (easy) or 15 by foot. Many local attractions, bars and restaurants nearby. If you like a dive bar don’t mis Soul Bar Jody across the street. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the room, but can share a few recs for good spots within a 10 min walk. There is also a Starbucks on the first floor if you need a little something to get you going before heading outside.

Good premium hotel, high quality dinning. It was a bit far from the gondola and you have to kind of climb the hill to get to the entrance, which was sort of annoying. A place where you can upgrade to priority pass starts working too late to actually make it to the gondola in time for the fast track start time. We had some other things we noticed but overall it was a very nice experience.
