Regno Unito: hotel con piscina nella provincia di Buckinghamshire

OMG the place was just amazing! We definitely will come back again! Although the hotel was located quite far from city Center, i.e., an hour from Oxford University, half an hour from Bicester, but 15 mins drive from Waitrose, which was good enough for us (chill but enjoy the world class racing cars around). The facilities were new. The staff was friendly ( strongly felt it in the breakfast session), there was own car park just next to the apartment too. Free 15 mins electricity charging outside the reception. Free access to gym and swimming pool… everything just fabulous!

La rinovazione dell'hotel è ben proseguita, con la grande maggioranza dell'edificio sembra molto intelligente con eccellenti impianti. Ho dovuto ricordare all'hotel, come in molti hotel a livello mondiale, che i cambiamenti nelle strutture e nelle politiche lasciano scadere tutte le informazioni textuali (ad esempio il manuale online, i menu, gli avvisi, ecc.). Ho letto la piccola stampa e ho chiesto tutto quello che aveva promesso, ma non era presente, ho chiesto la mancanza di letto da divano, sicurezza, bagni, cioccolato, ecc. Il personale lavora senza difficoltà, ma è brevemente consegnato per il compito. Mentre ero lì, erano stati assunti nuovi dipendenti, quindi tutti questi argomenti sono stati affrontati. Sono in debito con il mangiatore Raj KC che ha fatto il suo meglio e il meglio per aiutarmi a far fronte ai miei problemi, come anziano con sventura di vista e udito, e le sfide mediche che sono tipiche del mio gruppo di età in Gran Bretagna, Inviando un 30 kg di prodotto che ho comprato al Nord-Ovest, ho apprezzato molto il suo consiglio e l'assistenza e gli ho auspicato tutto il meglio nella sua carriera futura.

House keeping every day, swimming pool + gym + sauna free to use, nice staff, free spacious parking, extra pillows, spacious room, lift access. The only bad thing is the bath tub a bit small, and the shower curtain smells bad after use.

La stanza era buona, un po' più piccola di quanto si poteva aspettare per il costo, ma aveva tutto quello che ci serviva. L'hotel era occupato con un matrimonio ma solo una persona sul desk front, quindi ci sono voluti 25 minuti per accedere al check-in.

Really lovely hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The service received from check-in to checking-out was impeccable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Il personale era piuttosto basso, con le direzioni per trovare la mia stanza, è un posto molto grande e non molto ben sigillato. La stanza aveva tutto ciò che aveva bisogno e era pulita. La piscina, il jacuzzi, la sauna e la stanza a vapore sono tutti inclusi nel vostro soggiorno, solo un po' di passeggiata verso un altro edificio.

I was quite happy on the first night of my stay as the AC was quite nice when we entered the room. I saw there was a tub and free wifi was included. However, when I came back to the room on the second and third nights the AC seemed to not blow out cold air. I had to leave the window open all night for both nights to get some cold air into the room. The single beds were also surprisingly uncomfortable for a hotel. I’ve had short stays in other hotels like travelodge and premier inn, where the beds felt quite comfortable and were often cheaper £/night. The staff were lovely, no issues there. If I was staying for longer I would have mentioned it to the staff.

From the moment we arrived at Danesfield House, we were treated extremely well. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us, even carrying our luggage to our room. Our room had a beautiful view over the river Thames and hotel gardens and the four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and their were plenty of towels and toiletries. I had booked a treatment in the Spa for my wife and all of the staff were amazing. The Spa itself was very nice, and although the jacuzzi was out of action, this did not spoil the experience at all. Finally, our breakfast was wonderful. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. Our order was taken for our choice of breakfast by a lovely waitress and coffee and toast was brought to us by an absolutely wonderful waiter who had the biggest smile that never left his face the entire time we were in the restaurant. He was extremely polite and just made you smile with his infectious enthusiasm for the ”fabulous filter coffee” and the ”terrific toast” (his words, not mine) that he served us. I just wish I had his name to include with this review as he deserves a special mention. Overall it was a fantastic experience and the right choice of hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will definitely be coming back.

Very lovely welcome and flexible allowing slightly earlier book in to enable us to get ready for a wedding. Room clean and breakfast was great.
