Our stay here ended up working quite well and we only needed to walk the 10mins into town once. In the afternoons and evenings it was lovely to come back to the pool. Only issue was the mosquitoes which the pond next to our room can't have helped. They do have nets for the beds. Breakfast was a great selection for a smaller place like this and we also had dinner one night which was reasonably priced and tasty. They organised a car transfer to Siem Reap for us at a good price and were quick to respond to messages. For the price, this was a good value stay.

L'hotel è così bello dall'esterno. Il loro lobby è molto più lussuoso, in realtà, che le camere. La stanza è spaziosa ma completamente inconfortabile: materassi duri e cuscini, cuscini di sedie a mano sono più duri di quella materna, il che significa che non potevo usarli. Non c'è mobili come un armadio, è fatto di quel terribile cemento scuro colorato in una cattiva necessità di una mancanza di pittura, proprio come le pareti. La stanza era abbastanza pulita e ci fu chiesto se volevamo pulire ogni giorno; il giorno che chiesemo solo un cambio di asciugamani, nessuno si disturbava di vuotare la spazzatura. La stanza aveva un bel balcone, ma nessun mobilio per sedersi fuori, nemmeno un rack per appendere i nostri vestiti o asciugare le nostre tovagliole. Il bagno era tenuto in prigione, ma il giardino del doccia era una vergogna, non da toccare; avevamo prenotato (e pagato) per un letto regina, ma abbiamo avuto gemelli, senza alcun preavviso o scuse per il cambiamento. L'hotel è conveniente lungo una strada principale, a pochi passi dal centro della città e il bellissimo fiume. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno: è troppo primitivo per il prezzo.

My second night at Classy Hotel was very good, but not the first night which was really bad -- the air con was not strong enough, and because of a thick comforter, I had a very difficult night, not falling asleep until early in the morning. The twin beds were also very uncomfortable. The next day I was moved into another room, and the air con was very good and the large bed very comfortable, so I slept quite well. The hotel manager later told me that some rooms have weak air cons, which they are fixing -- but why put me in a room with a weak air con at all? In any case, the breakfast is good (though a few too many pork choices), with excellent coffee. And the large swimming pool is nice. WiFi is excellent, the location is great with many eateries nearby. Even though my first night at Classy Hotel was not good, I will likely stay there on my next trip to Battambang -- as long as they put me in a room with good air con and a large bed.

We stayed for 2 nights after visiting Phnom Penh and before our journey to Siem Reap, we wanted to see a bit more of Cambodia and Battambang was an excellent choice and so was this hotel, we couldn’t have stayed anywhere better, the only mistake we made was only booking 2 nights! It truly is a little oasis and after the hustle bustle of Phnom Penh was a welcome relief – just outside of Battambang and very peaceful with lovely rooms. We had a lake room and our daughter and partner had a garden room, the garden room was great but the lake room was even better, so relaxing to sit (or use the hammock) by the lake on your own private terrace. The pool was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We ate at the hotel on the two nights we stayed because the food was really good, a wide menu choice and a perfect setting by the pool area. Breakfast was a bit limited but adequate. We came to Battambang to experience the rural life, to see the bat cave and some historical/landmark sites – I booked a full day and half day tour by tuk tuk with Battambang Tours By Bun – it was full on and very interesting and informative, well recommended (I will do a separate review). So if you are planning a visit to Battambang for whatever reasons, fully recommend this hotel.

Un super hôtel. Même si l ’entrée semble un peu petite, vous trouverez la réception au 3eme étage. La chambre Deluxe que nous avions choisi était hypra confortable, digne du confort dune d’un 4 étoiles. Lit très confortable, salle de bain immense avec tous les produits fournis sauf le rasoir. Les éclairages, les armoires, l’immense télé, le balcon qui donnait sur une vue incroyable sur Combattant, les petits détails comme pour indiquer ou non de faire votre chambre électroniquement, les couloirs immenses et magnifiques tout était parfait. La piscine sur au 13eme étage propre et excellente. Enfin le roof-top bar permet de passer un super moment avec une musique live super douce avec tous les alcools possibles, jus de fruits ou autre. Carte pour diner bien fournie. Le petit déjeuner copieux au 2eme étage très correct. Attention les plats présentés sur la droite du menu sont payant et ne sont pas inclus dans le petit déjeuner, le personnel assez surpris de voir des occidentaux ne nous avaient pas prévenu lors de la prise de commande. Personnel charmant et souriant. nous habitons depuis 12 ans au Cambodge et cet hôtel est le meilleur que nous ayons fréquenté a Battambang et de loin. Merci a toute équipe, nous reviendrons et conseillerons ce bel hôtel si joli pendant la nuit avec ses magnifiques éclairages à Led. Seul petit défaut impossible de commander un café au bar du 13eme le premier soir, le roof-top étant fermé pour cause de pluie.

Clean and comfortable hotel a quick walk from some nice restaurants near the river. The room was large and clean with a desk, fridge and balcony that from the 5th floor had a beautiful view! It’s easy to get a Tuk Tuk to the Bamboo train or the bat caves (definitely worth a visit). There was always someone at the desk and we felt safe. The internet wasn’t perfect so I would recommend having your own SIM card if you plan to do online work . Would recommend!

We stayed here a week. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not much in the immediate vicinity but a short Tuk Tuk ride to the centre. The room next door is only separated by a door and one night we had neighbours that partied late and woke early. Not ideal when you have young kids. The property needs a bit of maintenance as our shower dripped water across the floor flooding the bathroom nightly. In need of a spruce up and probably not worth the money we paid.

Siamo arrivati a Phnom Penh alle 4:00 e siamo andati subito alla stazione di autobus Virak Buntham per arrivare a Battambang. Tuttavia, le 11:00 non erano disponibili, quindi abbiamo preso l'autobus a dormire alle 8:00. Mi è stato detto che potremmo arrivare alle 3:30, quindi ho immediatamente prenotato Star Hotel attraverso Agoda. Arriviamo a Battambang alle 4:00 & Star Hotel è a pochi metri dall'ufficio di Virak Buntham. L'hotel è stato chiuso. Dopo aver colpito per qualche minuto, il curatore ci ha registrati. Non c'è ascensore e la nostra stanza è al secondo piano. Prenotammo la stanza più conveniente (non c'è finestra con un ventilatore) per crollare fino al pranzo. La stanza è pulita e confortevole, così sono il bagno e le tole. Hanno fornito bevande in bottiglia, buono per un soggiorno notturno.

Ideale per il servizio alberghiero, atteggiamento sincero e strutture generali, stanza abbastanza grande, pulita soddisfacente, terrazza, aria condizionata abbastanza calda, fornitura di acqua calda può essere improvvisa e fredda, a seconda della pressione dell'acqua, da migliorare, piscina non troppo grande, ma pulita, adatto per i viaggi a casa, bevande, Ma la cena vicina è incline, molti, anche se prezioso, ma le cose sono preziose, adatto per il piacere, il turismo di svago familiare.

La struttura si trova un poco fuori dal centro, che però rimane facilmente raggiungibile in 10 minuti di Tuk Tuk. Immersa nel verde è un posto tranquillissimo dove potersi rilassare dal caotico traffico cambogiano. Le camere sono pulitissime, grandi ed arredate in perfetto stile. Noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di averne una al piano terra, dove sono presenti un tavolino e due sedie per rilassarsi davanti all'ingresso. Ottime cena e colazione. Non abbiamo usufruito della piscina e del centro massaggi. Wi-Fi molto debole. Personale gentilissimo come ovunque in Cambogia. Unico neo è il costo che è molto europeo, e non in linea con altre strutture altrettanto meritevoli dove abbiamo soggiornato durante il viaggio.
