Avete un ottimo soggiorno al Grand Central Premier Hotel! La stanza era molto grande, spaziosa, pulita e ben mantenuta, che rendeva il soggiorno molto comodo. Il hotel ha anche una piscina, che è perfetta per rilassarsi dopo un lungo giorno. La posizione è molto strategica, e si trova a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria, rendendolo super conveniente per andare in giro. Inoltre, è vicino al centro commerciale Deli Park, uno dei più bello centro commerciale della città, quindi le opzioni di cibo e shopping sono facilmente accessibili.

Very old 5 star Hotel that the room amenities is only 3 stars. Staff were great and friendly Room amenities worst than 3 star hotel, very old towels, cheap body and hair shampoo. Recommend to bring your own. Room sound proof is so bad that you can hear every single words from next door. Totally can't get good sleep due to next door talking non stops, imagine they do some exercise... Breakfast space is too small to cater full house. Food selection was mid Gym was the highlight, world class gym. But lack of air conditioning.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per 3 notti. Ci siamo stati qui qualche volta prima. L'hotel mantiene la sua ospitalità, il caldo e la cortese ricezione dei clienti. Booked 2 rooms for 4 guests via trip.com with an additional request for rooms with a connecting door. In the trip.com app, we intentionally correctly filled all the guest details for each rooms. Upon checkin, the hotel’s front desk said they cant accommodate the connecting room request because they say it was booked under different names. Sadly they used this opportunity to argue with us, printing out in front of ourselves with their printer on the front desk: 2 separate reservations under different names (Maybe since we intentionally filled those guest names correctly? But the contact number and email is still the same, no?). From it we briefly saw all details like the 2 different reservations numbers they used as the crucial evidence, and how our booking was routed through ******* (From this detail one could argue the request was lost through the flawed trip.com system. Yet the hotel could’ve investigated and be more proactive after seeing a reservation for one room asking for connecting doors??). I thought hotel guests checking in at night only wanted rest, not attending trial??? Although to be fair in the end they got us 2 connecting rooms, albeit at a low floor (after the unnecessary bargaining). They required Rp200K as deposit. Room was clean, with a very useful Korean brand smart tv. Functional hair dryer, good lighting, with an in-room safe, and a small fridge/chiller. Breakfast could’ve been better, but there’s a lot of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We got valet parking but didn’t pay for it, was it complimentary because of the limited parking space this hotel has, or did we get it as compensation/goodwill, we never knew (this was not explained at check in).

Tutto è stato buono, eccetto uno, nessuno ha risposto o risposto alla mia richiesta e io chiedo una semplice decorazione per il compleanno di mia moglie. Nessuno ha letto e risposto. Sapevano come leggere le richieste del cliente attraverso la prenotazione di terzi? Sono deluso.

La pulizia generale è accettabile, anche se sembra abituata a vecchia data. La casa completa del giorno restiamo così con le persone, ma il personale è molto professionale e può gestire le cose in fretta.

Nice location. Located just next to a new mall. Walking distance to a nearby famous restaurant. Highly recommended stay.

Posizione strategica, alloggio molto pulito, amichevole e utile. Parcheggio gratuito. La caduta non era un letto extra, come l'hotel è sempre piena casa

If you’re looking for peace and quiet a bit away from the main town, Tuktuk Timbul is very well located. We stayed in one of their traditional-style little houses, which were very cute and charming. It’s a great spot if your plan is simply to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and do nothing much. The homestay has a restaurant (we didn’t try the food though), a pool, a ping pong table, and a billiard table — so you can easily stay entertained without leaving the property. For the price, it’s definitely good value. That said, if you want to explore or do activities around Lake Toba, this may not be the best base. There isn’t much to do in the immediate area, and the staff weren’t very helpful when we asked for recommendations — apart from renting a scooter, they didn’t provide much guidance. Communication was also tricky as they don’t really speak English. Service felt a bit cold overall; the owners live nearby but never greeted us, which made us feel like we were disturbing them rather than being welcomed. In summary: a good option if your goal is to switch off, relax, and stay put at the homestay itself. But if you’re looking for friendly service, local tips, or activities beyond the property, you might find it lacking.
