Regno Unito: hotel con bar nella provincia di Bedfordshire

Di recente ho soggiornato all'Holiday Inn Luton Airport e ho avuto un'esperienza generalmente positiva. La posizione dell'hotel è incredibilmente comoda, soprattutto per i voli di prima mattina, poiché è a pochi passi o con una breve corsa in navetta dal terminal. Le camere erano pulite, moderne e ben tenute, con un letto particolarmente comodo che ha garantito una buona notte di sonno prima di un volo mattutino. Inoltre, il personale è stato accogliente ed efficiente, rendendo il check-in e il check-out fluidi e aiutando con qualsiasi domanda. Il ristorante in loco offre una discreta varietà di pasti e il buffet della colazione era abbondante con una buona gamma di opzioni. Il servizio in camera era rapido e la qualità del cibo era soddisfacente. L'hotel offre anche buoni servizi, tra cui un centro fitness, Wi-Fi gratuito e servizi business, con un ampio parcheggio per chi arriva in auto. Tuttavia, essere vicino all'aeroporto comporta un po' di rumore inevitabile dagli aerei. Sebbene le finestre siano insonorizzate, chi ha il sonno leggero potrebbe comunque notarlo. Sebbene la comodità sia un grande vantaggio, le tariffe possono essere più alte rispetto ad altre sistemazioni vicine, quindi vale la pena prenotare in anticipo per assicurarsi un'offerta migliore. L'area circostante l'hotel è piuttosto funzionale, con poche attrazioni o opzioni di ristorazione al di fuori dell'hotel stesso. Il soggiorno era tutto a posto, ma mi dispiaceva del servizio, chiedevo un cuscino per il cuscino del mio bambino perché non c'era letto disponibile. Invece mi fu dato un asciugamano sulla base dura di legno del bastone, che non era adatto per un bambino. In seguito, ho dovuto usare il mio appartamento per il mio bambino e dormire senza di me stesso. Questo è stato molto scomodo e non quello che mi aspettavo da Hilton, dal momento che sono stato in molti dei loro hotel a Dubai e il servizio è stato eccellente! Non sono soddisfatto del livello di servizio offerto qui a Luton.

I booked and paid for a superior room based on your offer, as I have stayed in this room before. However, I was given a shabby, small room, number 14. It seems rooms 14 and 15 are reserved for guests you no longer wish to see. The explanation from the friendly receptionist was that the hotel was fully booked, which was not true. She tried to make up for the situation with a practical gift from Champneys, but the claustrophobic room and the difficulty of accessing it with a large suitcase after a long journey were unpleasant. The hotel incorrectly judged me based on my attire, even though I intended to use their facial massage services, which were very professional, as were their massages and the products they use. Everything that was old seven years ago is now seven years older and even more worn out. Breakfasts are modest but healthy. They could use more fresh herbs, which they once grew in the spa gardens, now overgrown with weeds. Guests leave their plates and glasses on the lawn, and no one picks them up promptly. The spa lacks organization, except on weekends when older women step in to help, solving problems more quickly and efficiently. I am disappointed because it is not fair to deceive customers regarding room types. While the room lacked nothing and was regularly cleaned, it was next to a smelly toilet, and I was promised a superior room but given a standard one, as indicated on the temporary card received upon arrival. However, I must commend the lady who has diligently worked there for 30 years. It would be nice if she were friendly even when not promoting their services. If improvements are not made to the facilities and surroundings, there is no reason for me to return specially after the room switch and no difference in the price.

Friendly staff and very convenient for an early flight The staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful. When I first checked in, I realised I had accidentally booked an accessible room — which was enormous and very, very clean. However, because it had a connecting door, someone in the neighbouring room tried to open their side, which completely startled me. When I went downstairs to mention it, the staff didn’t hesitate at all. They immediately offered to move me to another room where I wouldn’t have the anxiety of hearing someone try the connecting door. It was clearly very safe, but I really appreciated how quickly and kindly they responded. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant — the food was fairly average and a little on the expensive side, although the atmosphere was lively and, again, the staff were very friendly. One downside is that the walls seem quite thin. Around 12:30am a group checked in and were talking loudly in the corridor for about half an hour, which woke me up. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs. In fairness, I didn’t call reception at the time — and based on how helpful they were earlier, I suspect they would have dealt with it quickly. Checking out was easy, and I walked to the airport in the morning. It’s actually a very straightforward walk — especially once you get past the roundabout and go under the road. I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you have an early flight from Luton.

Personale gentile e disponibile, letto comodo e camere di buona qualità. Ottima posizione per raggiungere la stazione DART di Luton Airport, a soli 2 minuti a piedi da Luton Airport Parkway e dalla stazione DART di Luton. Consigliatissimo.

La struttura è a buon mercato, è molto confortevole, è molto pulita, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto piacevole, è molto Ristorante non aperto il lunedì, tuttavia, il centro è a solo mezzo chilometro (10 min a piedi) - io consiglio El Picante Mex Grill per quella notte.

Room clean and tidy. Unfortunately a couple of lights were not working in the bathroom so made for a bit of a palaver trying to shower in almost darkness.  The breakfast was good with lots of choice, sadly the coffee in the machine wasn’t of good quality and was very bitter.  The staff were very polite, friendly and professional.  Overall, would choose to stay again.

I had a lovely big room and huge bed , which was comfortable. Large picture windows with view of river & town over the bridge next to the hotel. Room had all the usual amenities- kettle, mugs,, tea, coffee, sugar & milk. Shampoo & bodywash in bathroom, hairdryer. Box of tissues in bathroom. The bathroom has a good size cubicle and good pressure in the shower. I did not use the in house restaurant, so cannot comment. The bar was good and there was a water dispenser on the counter..Great for filling up my water bottle for the day. So lovely to walk out of the hotel and over the bridge to the town, including the excellent museums, or walk along the paths on either side of the river. Only slight downside was the route down the stairs was a bit convoluted, but there were lifts of course.

Il personale di accoglienza amichevole, molto utile, non potevamo arrivare al ristorante principale, così si chiamavano “I conigli” che era sullo stesso sito per assicurarsi di poter ottenere cibo e anche guardare il calcio che era quello che interessava mio figlio. La camera era bella, pulita, confortevole e una bella doccia potente nel bagno. La colazione era buffet, costantemente con cibo fresco. Un ambiente tranquillo sarebbe certamente tornato, ma ci saremmo arrivati in tempo per usare la piscina.

Bella posizione hotel. Stuccia e capelli sul letto quando siamo entrati nella nostra stanza e la porta del bagno era rotta e non sarebbe stata chiusa. Ci è stato anche chiesto di pagare la nostra stanza quando era già pagata. Non aspettare questo con il prezzo che paghi per rimanere qui.
