Cina: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Jiangsu

Albergo immenso ed assolutamente scenografico, tanto che al suo interno organizzano set fotografici in abiti tradizionali, sebbene a prezzi altissimi, più del doppio della media. Camere spaziose, ben arredate, con un bagno ampio e ben illuminato con una luce che non proviene soltanto dall’alto ma è anche frontale rispetto allo specchio, in modo da non avere il viso in ombra, come accade spessissimo negli alberghi. Cibo molto buono sia a colazione, molto ricca, sia nel ristorante di noodle e nel bar. I prezzi del cibo sono altissimi: ho pagato 30€ un piatto di noodle, che per strada avrei pagato 5 euro massimo. Ma è il prezzo della comodità di non uscire dalla struttura, che obiettivamente è lontana dalle (poche) attrazioni della città, raggiungibili esclusivamente in taxi. L’albergo è dotato anche di una boutique, una spa con prezzi folli, addirittura superiori a quelli italiani, una palestra e due piscine, francamente molto piccole, colonizzate da bambini urlanti e da qualche genitore rigorosamente maschio, mentre le donne attendono vestite di tutto punto a bordo vasca, consumandosi di sudore. C’è anche la lavanderia self service. La struttura ha solo cinque piani, ma si estende su una superficie molto ampia, per cui mettete in conto di perdervi sistematicamente tra i lunghi corridoi.

La pensione di Yangzhou State è situata in una zona di spray, dove molte delle strutture sono a piedi. E 'come soggiornare in un resort. Puoi andare alle diverse strutture o prendere il bug fornito. Il lago Slender West (西 Lake) è vicino alla Guesthouse e sicuramente vale la pena visitare sia durante il giorno che la sera. Troppo caldo per visitare l'estate, ma sarà bello durante la primavera e/o l'autunno.

All good except the room service, which I was forced to use, as I had to work late from my room. Ordering was not at all simple (having not spotted the QR code notice on the fridge work top. But response was swift, so too was delivery of the order. However, the ”Ceasar Salad” was sorrowful! Lettuce leaves awash in some sort of watery white fluid, with no discernable taste, some croutons and a few pieces of dried bacon. Especially disappointing given how lovely the fruit and vegetables are most of the time in China. Main course ”Lemon and Herb Chicken” should have been listed as ”Lemon and Herb Skin and Bones”!!! There was virtually NO actual chicken meat. Roated tomatoes and asparagus were lovely, Dessert was uninspiring, but compared to the salad and main course for sure the best course. The Wine? Completely undrinkable. Opened, poured a small amount to taste, spoilt. It happens, sadly! Would be a good idea to open the wine to test before serving

Staying in Mingcheng Suyue was such an excellent experience given the location which was very near to Suzhou tourist spot and railway station. It has many establishment ang restaurant near the area. And very accessible if you are riding Didi. Most of all, all their staff are so friendly, courteous and they even gave us an upgrade room with window plus additional 1 free bottled water which was such a delight to us customers. Super highly recommended and I will surely book to this hotel again if given the chance to go back again in Suzhou.

After staying for three consecutive nights, the final night turned out to be an extremely unpleasant experience. A group of loud and inconsiderate local women checked into the room next to mine. They were shouting and making noise late into the night, keeping me awake until 11:30 PM, and then woke me up again at 5 AM. I called the front desk twice to report the situation, and even walked to their door in my pajamas to record the noise they were making. I paid over RMB 1,450 for that night, yet I believe these guests, likely part of a tour group, probably paid very little—if anything at all. Situations like this shouldn't happen even in a well-managed budget hotel, let alone in a five-star, landmark hotel in Wuxi. If we say that guest behavior is beyond the hotel’s control, then what happened the next morning, on the day of my checkout, was even more baffling. The hotel changed its name overnight. The well-known management brand Hyatt officially parted ways with the hotel owner, and this hotel, once under a globally recognized brand, became a local one overnight. Staff morale was visibly low, and many seemed to face the uncertainty of possible unemployment, which clearly weighed on their minds. In the breakfast area, at the yogurt station, I couldn’t find a bowl to serve yogurt. I asked two different staff members for assistance, but both of them responded with blank expressions and said absolutely nothing to me. I felt completely ignored—even invisible. While I had only planned to report the disruptive guests, the indifference of the breakfast staff truly triggered my frustration. I immediately called to file a formal complaint. The hotel's Guest Experience Manager met with me in person, offered a sincere apology, and after learning more about the situation behind the scenes, I accepted the explanation and chose to forgive. As luck would have it, when I checked out, I ended up sharing the elevator with the same group of disruptive women. Their loud conversation inside the elevator sounded like a chorus of honking cars on a busy street. Instinctively, I raised my voice and shouted at them—and suddenly, the entire elevator went silent. Was it just a coincidence? I wasn’t angry anymore, but somehow, I felt vindicated. That’s the end of the story. I’m on the plane now, finally heading back to Sydney, Australia.

Siamo stati due notti all'hotel. Posizione fantastica molto vicina alla metro, a Pingjiang road e alle pagode gemelle. Camera spaziona, pulita e comoda. Abbiamo riposato egregiamente. All'ingresso si possono acquistare prodotti da forno molto buoni e caffè per iniziare bene la giornata! Raccomandato!

Il posto è già carino e ci sono molte attività che adulti e bambini possono fare. Principalmente le sorgenti termali e la piccola area di affitto. L'hotel è un grande resort e ha una piscina con sabbia che la rende simile a una spiaggia. La colazione avrebbe potuto essere migliore con più opzioni occidentali

La stanza era pulita, il servizio era grande e veloce, la posizione era proprio nel centro della città, anche se si stava davvero giacendo attraverso le ore di picco. Ma questo hotel è così comodo, ha aggiunto più colori al mio viaggio Xuzhou

Tutto lo staff della reception si è dimostrato sempre molto disponibile a soddisfare le nostre richieste ed esigenze. Stanza grande, funzionale e accogliente, colazione ottima e ubicazione strategica, vicino a una stazione della metro e a uno dei giardini più belli di Suzhou.

Il servizio fornito da Cheng Meili alla reception è molto attento, serio e ha un buon atteggiamento. Anche le camere sono buone. Abbiamo alloggiato in una camera con tatami, che era molto grande e aveva vasca e servizi igienici separati. In questo modo non ci saranno scontri se ci sono troppe persone! Ci sono anche due lavandini, il che è molto comodo! È molto vicino al Tempio di Confucio ed è anche comodo fare un giro in barca sul fiume Qinhuai! Sceglierò di soggiornare qui la prossima volta che verrò a Nanchino!
