This Hotel is quite new as the driver told us. It's clean, staffs are good and always smiling and helpful. Front counter staffs are excellent and extremely helpful. 管家 Hugh is also helpful. My stay there is excellent and happy. It's location is near the beach but not recommend for swimming as it has rocks. For swimming and beach activities you may have to walk down a short distance to the neighbouring beach which is open and nice. Food wise I did not book the hotel food but the bbq seafood buffet seems interesting with lots of varieties. OK now come to the location, you can take a slow walk on a straight road to some eateries which is about 700-800 meters away. Can see they have quite some restaurant there and a 24 hour dim sum with lots of variations. Only on the last day stay then we discover this. Should have check it out earlier. There's a few shopping mall nearby but the most popular being 大菠萝 which is about 15 mins drive if you go by car. Has a lot of shops and a supermarket restaurant and a open space night market with lots of foods. Good hotel to unwind and my stay there is excellent.

Il soggiorno all'hotel dadonghi è stato eccellente, soprattutto abbiamo goduto della vista dal balcone e l'accesso alla spiaggia vicino. La nostra camera era spaziosa, perché il mio bambino ha goduto di giocare qui e là. La posizione è anche conveniente per raggiungere qualsiasi destinazione intorno a Sanya. L'unica cosa che manca è che il personale parla inglese al di fuori del desk, ma di nuovo sono stati d'aiuto in molti modi. Sicuramente resterà qui se torniamo a Sanya.

Anche se la vista è stupenda, ci sono elicotteri che volano verso e dall'isola che questo hotel guarda. Si prega di essere informati che questo distrugge un'atmosfera tranquilla quando si trovano nella stanza o sul balcone. Il cibo era grande, perché c'erano una vasta gamma di piatti e seduto fuori si è sconvolto dal sentimento di tenere.

We loved this quaint little place. Off the main shopping street so it’s a bit less busy but still close enough to make for easy access. Right on the beach which is both a good thing and potentially a slight issue for those wanting a place that is quiet at night. You will have to deal with the club music from a couple other beachside places who play loud music (albeit good and live) until 23:00 every night. The highlights for us would be the service which was incredibly nice and helpful. The resident dog was also a big highlight for us as she (Muo Muo) was so sweet. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the facilities were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t have an issue with late night music.

TLDR: Had really high expectations when I booked this 5 diamond hotel, however the stay experience fell short from the expectations. The Good: + Was offered room upgrade to sea view room during checked in. + Interior and exterior design of the hotel is really sets a relaxing tone to the entire stay. + It was a nice touch having Bellboys to help us with luggage and open doors whenever we arrive at the hotel lobby + Staffs and cleaners greeted us was also a nice touch + Breakfast options are extensive (including fresh juice bar and daily special juice concoction) + Free hotel activities to do daily + Gym is well maintained and a good number of machines The Bad - (Presales) Didn’t appreciate the fact that the booking page didn’t state the hotel deposit amount (which is slightly more than 1 time the hotel room price) and was only mentioned during check-in. Prior the trip, I tried to ask about whether there’s any hotel deposit via Trip.com message to hotel function and there’s no reply at all. (I mean a 3 diamond star hotel I stayed previous replied… but a 5 diamond star hotel didn’t). - (Not controllable) Sadly, there’s construction going on and can see cranes and construction machinery hindering the view of the sea, as well as the noises. - There’s supposedly a butler assigned to each guest, but my butler only added me on WeChat several hours after checkin. Also, was asking the butler about one of the afternoon hotel was still going on as we reached the venue and there’s no one around. He said he will check and then no reply for 20mins before I messaged him to inform that we won’t be waiting anymore. Didn’t appreciate that there’s no follow up. - The shower control knob will suddenly fall off at certain angle which can be rather dangerous given that it has quite a weight to it. - The bathtub’s shower head keeps leaking when we turned the other tap on to fill the bathtub, and we had to put the shower head into the bathtub to prevent flooding. All in all, it fell short on expectations in terms of the service compared to the service my partner and I had experienced in a 3 diamond star hotel at a fraction of this hotel’s price. Nonetheless, it is really a gorgeous place to stay in. Tastefully decorated and smell really great. Most of the staffs are friendly.

Questa volta quando sono uscito il 1° maggio ero proprio preoccupato per l'igiene delle strutture e delle attrezzature dell'hotel. Ma ero eccessivamente preoccupato. La camera d'albergo era molto pulita e igienica. Lo spazio è ampio, le attrezzature sono nuove e c'è un balconcino per stendere e lavare la biancheria. La cosa migliore è che il servizio del direttore del ristorante è molto buono, gentile e premuroso, la colazione è ricca di varietà, igienica e deliziosa. Sono andato al mercato notturno di Yiheng e non era delizioso e igienico. Alla fine ho mangiato i frutti di mare piatto caldo a buffet nel ristorante dell'hotel, anche il gusto è super buono e ci sono molte varietà. I ​​bambini hanno mangiato molto bene e hanno detto che era delizioso. Non mangiare fuori perché è costoso e poco igienico i bambini hanno ritenuto che questa volta fossi molto soddisfatto del mio accordo al Golden Phoenix Hotel.
