Hotel a 2 stelle in Louisiana, Stati Uniti d'America

Quando sono entrato nella stanza, l'odore innegabile di urina ha profumito l'aria. Ho cercato la fonte e, mentre sono andato a letto, l'ho trovata. Era il MATERRESS!!!!! Mi chiedo di mettere in un'altra stanza, che era accompagnata da una scusa. Nell'altra stanza, ha sentito meno odore di urina. Tuttavia, ho sollevato il cappello e ho notato 2 sporchi, Voglio dire sporchi, SOCKS che erano stati là da chi-sappia-quando!!!!! Ciò significava che le foglie non erano state pulite neanche!!!! Dovremmo andare!!!! Questa è stata una missione di emergenza e non ci andremo mai più qui!!!

Ho prenotato questo Americas Best Value Inn & Suites @ Lake Charles I210-Exit-5. Non c'era nulla che si confrontava con una suite. Infatti, è più come una classe motel. Ci sono stati diversi fattori che ci hanno fatto non riuscire a rimanere qui, e probabilmente non rimarrà qui in futuro. Spiego perché ho classificato questo hotel/motel sotto la sua classe: a) prima l'hotel è sul lato ”cheap”. Le toletta fornite erano molto limitate e non c'era toletta per il pavimento. La luce nella stanza, così come il passaggio fuori la proprietà era annoiante. Ovunque vedo una luce bianca fiorita, così brillante. La stanza ha la stessa luce dal tetto. Era così brillante, non è stato adattato. E' difficile per una persona dormire, mentre l'altra è sveglia e ha bisogno di luce. La stanza è una mancanza di diversi elementi fondamentali per un hotel, nessuna macchina da caffè. Lo shampoo/sap fornito erano alcuni campioni 1-person. La zona ”Colazione” era una battuta. L'unica cosa che è stata dimostrata è il caffè, che non era buono al minimo. Tuttavia, la prenotazione di trip.com mi aveva scelto una camera con o senza colazione. Quindi ho prenotato con colazione. Ma non c'era niente. Ho chiesto al ricevitore, disse, non hanno colazione, solo caffè. Il lato più è quello, hanno fornito un buon frigorifero di dimensioni, e hanno la microonde nella zona del ”magnifico”. Sebbene sembrasse un hotel recentemente costruito, ma è solo un motel di base, mancanza di elementi di base di necessità nella stanza dell'hotel. In generale, non mi fermerò di nuovo qui.

Un ottimo posto per rilassarsi e un po' di tempo da soli. Vorrei che pulissero a fondo il pavimento mentre i miei piedi si sporcano.

After a change of plans we ended up with an extra night in New Orleans before flying out, so we chose to stay near to the airport to make the following day easier. We caught the airport bus 202, which we had taken from the airport to downtown 3 days earlier, which dropped us on Veterans memorial Blvd. From there it was a 10 min walk to Comfort Inn. There are not many facilities nearby, but the hotel has snacks etc for sale, and a good breakfast included. The room was roomy and clean. The TV had Netflix and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and relaxing that evening. If you stayed at this hotel, it would be very easy to take the bus (202 or E1) into New Orleans for sightseeing. We took the free shuttle to the airport the next day. This is a great hotel and is well connected to the city and airport by shuttle, bus and Uber.

This motel is special: I’m a motel fan and it is the first motel I’ve ever see that goes with an elevator! it gave me both a surprise and delight that I could easily carry my luggage to the second floor. You can tell the owner knows how to do business: it’s TV is even larger than the one I lived in downtown NOLA—and most important of all, the TV is working very well. Before switching to this motel, I lived in Aloft New Orleans Downtown for 3 nights, with nightly rate above $200, yet I felt quite inconvenient because Aloft lacked this and that. So really, amenities can be new or old, but the sense of the owner to invest in essentials to provide convenience does not necessarily mean that these things have to be “fancy” (but useless). While I wouldn’t say the level of cleanliness was also super—it was ok (though the blankets could have been nicer)—but overall in the world of motels, this one makes me feel that the owner does intend to offer you some needed service.

The location was near lots of restaurants so we didn't have to go far to find a place to eat. They were doing construction but it wasnt too bad. The room was upstairs and it was ok. I had to go ask for more towels. The guy at the desk said there were 2 in the room. I told him we had 4 people in the room. He double-checked to be sure then he gave me 2 washcloths and 2 towels. There was only 1 small towel to use on the bathroom floor after stepping out of the shower and 1 roll of toilet tissue, 1 bag that goes in the ice container. They have the bare necessities so if you need any extras you will have to ask the front desk to request more. During breakfast the 1st day, it was around 8:20 and they was no waffle mix at all. The waffle iron was there but no mix. The second day I didn't even bother to go to breakfast. The staff was cordial. The stay was ok for the time I was in town. I dont think I would choose it for my family to stay, maybe just myself alone.

Do not expect a five star stay at that historical place - expect a decent hotel, with one or other ”discrepancies”. The staff was at the check in and on the check out - verry verry friendly, already given some informations, about places to go and what is not worth to go. The room cleaness - was okay - the Hotel itself, they know, that they cannot - and i think they don´t want to match with big groups. A big advantage is a free parking space at the road, the Hotel itself, was quiet during night! Close to the Hotel - there is a starbucks coffee for breakfast . All in All - if you want to stay - as it was in former times - stay there.
