La posizione del B&B è eccellente e facile da trovare. Si trova a 1 chilometro a piedi dal Centro Visitatori delle Risaie Terrazzate di Yunhe. Siamo arrivati ​​piuttosto tardi quel giorno e la maggior parte dei ristoranti del villaggio era chiusa. La padrona di casa ci ha accompagnato a cercare un posto dove mangiare. Lo stesso ragazzo non ha controllato correttamente le etichette e ha lasciato che io e un altro ospite recuperassimo i nostri bagagli da soli. Immagino che se avessimo preso il bagaglio sbagliato, non ce ne saremmo nemmeno accorti. Credo che gli hotel abbiano l'obbligo fondamentale di sorvegliare i bagagli in deposito, che è incluso nella tariffa della camera. Spero che migliorino la gestione della sicurezza in quest'area per garantire la tranquillità degli ospiti. A parte questo, tutto il resto è stato positivo. Alcuni dicono che l'insonorizzazione non è eccezionale, ma nella posizione privilegiata su Jiefang Road, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto alto. Sono disponibili tappi per le orecchie per dormire e le cuffie vanno bene per guardare la TV. Data la vicinanza all'ospedale e l'intenso traffico pedonale, questo è normale. Il direttore è stato molto gentile, mi ha accompagnato alla terrazza e mi ha aiutato con i bagagli. Il ragazzo del turno di notte mi ha prontamente fornito una coperta in più. The young owners, Lixia and Haibo, are such a lovely, talented, and hard-working couple who got married not long ago and have just opened this beautiful homestay together. Lixia is just as amazing: super energetic, thoughtful, and incredibly talented behind the camera. They also have the sweetest dog named One Two Three – a patient and gentle soul who quickly became our favorite companion. She joined Lixia in accompanying us around the village and along the ancient trails, adding even more joy to our walks. What truly blew us away was the photography and videos Lixia made for us. While we explored, she quietly captured the most beautiful shots of us among the old stone houses and ancient trails. At the end of our stay, she surprised us with two wonderfully edited short videos that perfectly captured the joy and laughter of our weekend. I’ve stayed at hundreds of places around the world and have never received anything like this – it’s a memory we’ll treasure forever. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with local touches. Every small detail – from the welcome fruit basket to the cozy fireplace at night – shows how much love and effort this young couple puts into making guests feel truly at home. Absolute Gem in the Heart of Hangzhou - Perfect Location! I stayed at the Lanhu Business Hotel during my trip to Hangzhou, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The location is absolutely perfect; it's truly the ideal base for exploring the city, especially the West Lake. Location (10/10): You're literally just a short 10-minute stroll from the shores of West Lake. You can easily walk down to the lake for a morning sunrise and be back in no time. Even better, the famous Hefang Street night market is right next door! At night, the street comes alive with food stalls, street performers, and souvenir shopping; it's an experience in itself, and it's so convenient to just step out and be right in the middle of it all. Cleanliness & Facilities: The hotel was spotless. My room was cleaned daily and was very comfortable for the price. The laundry room on the ground floor (1st floor in China) was an excellent bonus, perfect for refreshing clothes after a long day of walking, and very easy to use. One small suggestion: it would be great if they could provide some clean laundry baskets in the laundry room, or put up gentle reminders asking guests to collect their clothes promptly once the cycle finishes, to avoid inconveniencing others. Staff (10/10): The staff were super friendly and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. They made the whole experience feel very warm and welcoming. Value for Money: For the price, this hotel is fantastic. It's very affordable and offers great value, especially for budget travelers, given how central it is. One Tip: When booking, try to ask for a room with a window. It makes a world of difference in terms of natural light and makes the room feel much more spacious. Well, Hangzhou is beautiful, and requires more time than I had initially anticipated. So when I decided to extend my stay by a day, I didn't think twice about staying at the same hotel again. I would definitely stay here again. If you want convenience, cleanliness, and great staff, don't hesitate to book this place!

In a nutshell, suitable mostly if you have no other options (or everything that’s affordable is all taken for the night). For me, what struck me the most (or shall I say not surprisingly, but still remarkably true) was the fact that two different staff members of the hotel (aka the two receptionists that did both shifts during my stay) did not speak a word of English! Like, LITERALLY not 1!!! And I know, I know “This is China” and “What do you expect in a 3rd tier city” but still, guys, it’s the 2026 goddammit, not 2006! Like, the city where the hotel is located is virtually the world’s capital of the home appliances trade!!! There are enough foreigners who travel and even reside in the city for every self respecting hotel manager to know better they they must hire an English speaking staff that would (very likely) have some foreign guests too. One more time: no one is expecting a native English speaking level or some PhD academic skills and capabilities, but at least BASIC English skills competency should be a MUST in any developed country, especially China. Brushing it aside, the hotel was OKish (considering the price range). It’s a pain in the ass to check in as a foreigner (it literally too half an hour, being questioned multiple times the most bizarre questions such as “Where are you from?” or “What brings you to YiWu: travel or studying”, “What’s your phone number” (considering the guy had my passport in his hand and I made the reservation online where virtually ALL this information was widely available). Had to take a picture of me twice (mind you, I actually reside in the same city!!!). I just had to move out of my condo for a short while due to construction work taking place there. Anyway, room amenities are ok and had no other hiccups than that. Mind you, you need to deposit/transfer 100 yuan as a “security deposit” which is refundable via WeChat/AliPay transfer upon checking out.

L'hotel è molto vicino al Lago dell'Ovest, raggiungibile a piedi. La fermata dell'autobus di fronte all'ingresso, la stazione della metropolitana e le biciclette rendono gli spostamenti estremamente comodi.
