I had a pretty good stay at Haiko Xizchen Hotel. The hotel is clean, modern, and feels well taken care of. Check-in was smooth, and the room was comfortable and spacious enough to relax in. The bed was comfy, everything was tidy, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure.
The staff were polite and helpful, though it’s worth noting that they don’t really speak English, so communication can be a bit tricky if you don’t speak the local language. Still, they tried their best and were friendly.
Overall, it’s a solid place to stay—quiet, clean, and good value for the price. I’d stay here again, especially if you’re okay using a translator app.

Great hostel! Excellent location, near many restaurants, shops, public transportation, everything you need. Off the main street so actually quiet for sleeping with windows open. Social atmosphere, great place to meet travellers alike. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice areas in common area to spend time. Kitchen for guests to use was nice to cook group meals together. Would definitely stay again!

L'hotel sul mare di Dadonghai è molto ben attrezzato con tutti i servizi, il prezzo non è costoso e il trasporto è molto conveniente. La camera che avevo prenotato prima era troppo vecchia, non aveva balcone ed era nel vicolo. Più tardi ho scoperto che questo hotel si trova nello stesso edificio dell'hotel. È molto ben organizzato e le forniture delle camere sono nuovissime. Le camere dell'hotel accanto sono molto confortevoli. Il prezzo è molto conveniente. Si può dire che è molto economico. Questo è il vero hotel sul mare. Ho soggiornato a Dadonghai due volte. Quando arrivi al primo piano dell'hotel devi chiamare il negozio. Dopo il check-in puoi entrare e uscire liberamente con la tessera dell'ascensore. È ben gestito e molto sicuro.

If you’re looking for a comfortable, budget‑friendly stay close to Atlantis without paying Atlantis prices, this is a practical choice—just come with the right expectations.
🏨 Apartment‑Style Setup
Rooms feel more like serviced apartments, which is great if you enjoy extra space and a home‑like layout. But unless you book one of the villas, expect a decent walk to reach the beach area.
🍽️ Breakfast: Simple and Local
The buffet breakfast is designed mainly for local guests. You’ll receive paper coupons to enter, which adds a slightly old‑school touch. The food is straightforward—not a luxury spread, but enough to start the day.
🛗 Elevators: Bring Your Patience

However, we were not aware that the activities we wanted—like swimming in the ocean or taking a short, affordable yacht trip—were much farther away. You cannot swim in the ocean anywhere near Kamei or Atlantis due to safety restrictions.

If ocean time is important to you, plan ahead:
• Head to Wuzhizhou Island for diving and proper beach activities
• Look for yacht trips or water sports in other parts of Sanya
• Enjoy the hotel pools and walking areas nearby instead of expecting a beach experience

HHweiling OwThe place was hard to find. There are tonnes of shop lots at the bottom of one entrance, and the other entrance had a large open area with stairs that goes up. The security guard I asked did not recognise the name, and there is no obvious signs that I could pick up. (I cannot read mandarin). I dont think there was any other way aside from contacting the person via the app. Even if you found the entrance, there is no obvious reception area.
We had to ring the contact person on the Trip.com app, and I had family who could speak mandarin to help guide the rest of the process. He is helpful and quick to respond. He brought us through a metal door, to a dark alleyway with lifts inside. If we weren't in a group of seven, I would have worried about my organs at this point.
There was a bit of a juggle with my cousins and my side of the family. So I ended up staying in the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT. The layout of the three bedroom apartment (located on the 18th floor) that we ended up in is similar to the two bedroom apartment with the lounge carved up to create a new bedroom. apartment is quick to respond. The two bedroom apartment (located on the 25th floor) felt bigger and cleaner, and had better views.
From here onwards, it is the review for the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT: We ran out of toilet paper and had air-conditioning issues. The contact person is quick to respond and solve our issues. The beds are hard for my body that is use to a softer version. There is no daily cleaning services that suits us. They supply toothbrushes, shower caps, body and shampoo wash in the bathroom, and disposable towels. The towels can be reused during the time you are there, but they are meant to be thrown away so they dont have the responsibility to rewash the towels. We didn't use the swimming pool on the third floor as we were too busy. It is RMB4 per use. They also supply a singular giant bottle of water. I think it was 5 litres. The air conditioning units in all three rooms work. Our view is a live view of how Sanya people live in Sanya, families in another building, the locals sitting on their balcony on a hot day.
You get a couple of tags to tag into the building, out of the building, into the lift, and into the bedroom. There is also a code you can type in to get access into the building. When we left, the contact person helped us with getting a taxi to the hotel. It went through his account and we paid him cash rounding up to the closest amount. He did not want any more for helping us. He was extremely helpful.
This is one of the cheaper choices in Sanya - and my rating is for the price and location.

UUtente ospiteI recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots.
The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious.
The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price.
Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together. If you're looking for a peaceful yet social spot to surf, this is it.

青旅的环境没得说，非常干净，我看到保洁阿姨和水库每天都会打扫好几次。室内休息区的设计感很强，在那儿待着很舒服，或者在院子里享受海南的好天气也很惬意。这里还有洗衣机可以用，冲浪板的租借价格也非常公道。
最让我喜欢的是这里的氛围。老板的朋友们经常过来串门，所以感觉特别亲切、有生活气息。我在这里遇到了很多外国游客，还有不少骑自行车或摩托车环岛的中国驴友。我甚至还结识了一位法国姑娘，我们俩一起冲浪了一整个星期。很多中国夫妇和家庭也住在这里，这里也非常适合带孩子入住。如果你想在海南找一个既能安静休息又能结识有趣朋友的冲浪点，选这里准没错。

Buss ovunque, tra cui la stazione ferroviaria e l'aeroporto. Molto stazioni alimentari, ristoranti, negozi di comodità, negozi commerciali vicino. Molto popolare hotel.Colazione semplice ma buona.

Главное преимущество отеля, конечно, его расположение рядом с аэропортом — в этом плане место действительно очень удобное. Пешком, наверное, при желании дойти можно, особенно если без багажа, но на практике это не самый удобный вариант, потому что отель находится как будто с другой стороны аэропорта относительно выхода. Зато такси берётся без всяких проблем, стоит недорого, и добраться можно быстро и спокойно.
Мы приехали глубокой ночью, поэтому отель нас не встречал, но при этом заранее был на связи и даже обещал компенсировать стоимость такси. В итоге просить возврат мы не стали, потому что поездка обошлась совсем недорого, но сам подход со стороны отеля был очень приятный. Вообще хочется отдельно отметить, что со связью никаких проблем не было: на все наши вопросы отвечали, были на связи, объясняли, как лучше добраться, и было ощущение, что нас действительно ждут.
Конечно, есть и особенности, связанные с тем, что отель находится рядом с аэропортом. Для кого-то это может быть ощутимым минусом: слышен постоянный гул самолётов, а также какие-то хлопки, похожие на устройства для отпугивания птиц, что, вероятно, вполне типично для такой локации. Ещё был довольно специфический запах на этаже и в номере. При этом не хочется утверждать, что дело именно в прокуренности — возможно, это какие-то местные китайские благовония или другие запахи, к которым мы просто не привыкли. Точно сказать не можем, но такой нюанс был.
Тем не менее для нашей задачи отель подошёл идеально. Мы были уставшие после перелёта, нам нужно было просто нормально выспаться, помыться, немного прийти в себя и утром поехать дальше. С этим отель справился на все 100%. За свою цену он полностью выполнил всё, что от него требовалось, и в этом смысле к нему вообще нет вопросов. Так что для короткой остановки рядом с аэропортом это действительно хороший вариант. Спасибо.
