V clean room. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful during my stay especially when I have to extend the stay due to typhoon. The gong lue was also very useful. Good food around projector TV and smart toilet is a plus point. Awesome and will stay again if I visit again.

You’ll receive paper coupons to enter, which adds a slightly old‑school touch. The food is straightforward—not a luxury spread, but enough to start the day. 🛗 Elevators: Bring Your Patience One of the biggest quirks is the elevator wait time. It can take 6 to 15 minutes just to go up or down, especially during peak hours. However, we were not aware that the activities we wanted—like swimming in the ocean or taking a short, affordable yacht trip—were much farther away. You cannot swim in the ocean anywhere near Kamei or Atlantis due to safety restrictions. 🌊 Plan Your Activities Wisely If ocean time is important to you, plan ahead: • Head to Wuzhizhou Island for diving and proper beach activities • Look for yacht trips or water sports in other parts of Sanya • Enjoy the hotel pools and walking areas nearby instead of expecting a beach experience 📝 Final Thoughts Kamei Hotel is a solid, practical base for travelers who want comfort and convenience near Atlantis without the premium price tag. It has quirks—slow elevators, distant ocean activities, and a maze‑like parking garage—but with the right expectations, it offers good value and a relaxed atmosphere.

The place was hard to find. There are tonnes of shop lots at the bottom of one entrance, and the other entrance had a large open area with stairs that goes up. The security guard I asked did not recognise the name, and there is no obvious signs that I could pick up. (I cannot read mandarin). I dont think there was any other way aside from contacting the person via the app. Even if you found the entrance, there is no obvious reception area. We had to ring the contact person on the Trip.com app, and I had family who could speak mandarin to help guide the rest of the process. He is helpful and quick to respond. He brought us through a metal door, to a dark alleyway with lifts inside. If we weren't in a group of seven, I would have worried about my organs at this point. There was a bit of a juggle with my cousins and my side of the family. So I ended up staying in the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT. The layout of the three bedroom apartment (located on the 18th floor) that we ended up in is similar to the two bedroom apartment with the lounge carved up to create a new bedroom. apartment is quick to respond. The two bedroom apartment (located on the 25th floor) felt bigger and cleaner, and had better views. From here onwards, it is the review for the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT: We ran out of toilet paper and had air-conditioning issues. The contact person is quick to respond and solve our issues. The beds are hard for my body that is use to a softer version. There is no daily cleaning services that suits us. They supply toothbrushes, shower caps, body and shampoo wash in the bathroom, and disposable towels. The towels can be reused during the time you are there, but they are meant to be thrown away so they dont have the responsibility to rewash the towels. We didn't use the swimming pool on the third floor as we were too busy. It is RMB4 per use. They also supply a singular giant bottle of water. I think it was 5 litres. The air conditioning units in all three rooms work. Our view is a live view of how Sanya people live in Sanya, families in another building, the locals sitting on their balcony on a hot day. You get a couple of tags to tag into the building, out of the building, into the lift, and into the bedroom. There is also a code you can type in to get access into the building. When we left, the contact person helped us with getting a taxi to the hotel. It went through his account and we paid him cash rounding up to the closest amount. He did not want any more for helping us. He was extremely helpful. This is one of the cheaper choices in Sanya - and my rating is for the price and location.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The best part is the location. You are on a main road with many shops, restaurants and bus stops as well as the beach. I also liked the pool despite it being a little too shallow. The view from my balcony was also great. One problem was cleanliness. Never walk around the room barefoot cause your feet will get dirty. It also looked like the crockery and kitchen utensils were not cleaned before I arrived. As you can see some of the utensils were dusty! Hot water was another issue. Obviously you need hot water to properly wash your hands and dirty dishes. However I only had hot water in the shower, not in the kitchen nor bathroom sink. This leads to my next issue which is service. I told the staff about the lack of hot water on the Friday and they said they would fix it at some point during the day while I am out with my friend. I come back at roughly 9pm to find out there is still no hot water. On Saturday morning I remind them to fix it before I go out again, hoping when I return I will have hot water. While I'm at the beach I miss a call from them. Turns out instead of fixing the issue, they want to move me to another room with hot water. When I return from the beach I saw the message and told them I am ready to move to the new room. But they replied saying I was too late and they gave the room to someone else. (If I did take that room, does that mean the other guest would have my room and have to suffer with cold water instead of me?) Instead of taking responsibility for not providing hot water or trying to fix it, the staff tried to blame me and said I can't get hot water cause I was too busy to answer their calls. When I pushed back on that comment their next excuse was that a lack of hot water is a common problem in Hainan? But then they said they would check if there was a free room with hot water the next day (Sunday). However, they never contacted me about that again so I just gave up trying. If they couldn't fix the problem, they could have at least offered me compensation but they didn't. This experience made me feel dismissed and unimportant as a paying guest. To sum up, I wouldn't stay here again based on my experience. If they were to give me a room with hot water in the shower AND in both sinks, that's great. However, I would still have to deal with dirty floors and cookware + tableware. It's definitely not the worst place I've stayed in but regardless it didn't meet my standards so I still wouldn't stay here if I return to Sanya. Disappointing.

The hotel has an excellent location — it’s close to the beach, tourist infrastructure, and places for walking, but at the same time not in the very center, so the hotel grounds are quiet and peaceful. The room itself is a spacious apartment with a large living room-kitchen, two separate bedrooms, and two bathrooms (each with a shower and toilet). It was very convenient to have two showers in the room (actually, there are two showers and one bathtub, but we didn’t use the tub). Because of the hot tropical climate (it stays warm even at night) and the salty sea, everyone wants to take a shower one or two times a day. Having two showers meant no one had to wait. Hot water was provided by boilers with a sufficient reserve, so we never had to save water or wait for it to heat up. It was also very convenient to have a personal washing machine and a place to dry clothes in the room, since in this climate you need to wash things more often. All doorways have screened doors with latches, which allow constant ventilation without letting mosquitoes in. There is also a built-in air conditioning system, but we preferred to ventilate with fresh air. The beds in the rooms are comfortable and of good quality. There is plenty of storage space for clothes, as well as bedside tables. There are enough surfaces in the room where you can set up a laptop and work if needed. The room has universal sockets that work with both Chinese plugs and European plugs, and the Wi-Fi, as far as I could tell, provides access to the global internet without a VPN. The kitchen has a large refrigerator — very convenient for storing fruits, coconuts, and food, especially when planning a long day trip to attractions the next day. There is also a gas stove in case you want to cook something familiar. Although the local cuisine is very tasty, sometimes you crave more familiar food. The kitchen has a large table and the basic necessary dishes and utensils. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and make for a pleasant short walk if you wake up earlier than the others. I would especially like to thank the staff. In particular, a very attentive and responsive woman. There were no issues at all with late check-in. She was always very kind and friendly, always available, and ready to help with any questions.

I was originally planning to stay at Roots for just two weeks, but I fell in love with the place and ended up staying almost a month. I surfed nearly every day, thanks to the longboard I rented from Shuiku and Xiaoxiao, the owners of Roots, at a very affordable price. They also gave me invaluable advice on the best surf spots along the coast, which I could easily explore thanks to the scooter equipped with surf racks that they helped me rent. We even surfed together several times, which made the experience even more special. The hostel itself is beautiful, spotless, and peaceful, perfectly located in the village. It’s just a few minutes from charming cafés set among the rice fields, great local restaurants, and only a five-minute scooter ride to the beach. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the atmosphere: relaxed, warm, and incredibly welcoming. Sueco and XiaoXiao treated me like part of their family. They invited me to share meals with them (a special mention for the delicious coconut chicken hotpot!) and to join them for drinks at some nice bars with their friends. We even celebrated Chinese New Year together! I met wonderful people there, both Chinese and international travelers passing through, with whom I shared memorable dinners, countless surf sessions, unforgettable evenings, and truly meaningful conversations. If you are still hesitating about staying at Roots, don’t. You won’t regret it :)

Ho aggiunto una nota per organizzare la nostra stanza come im visitando per la mia luna di miele ma non l'ha fatto im non sono sicuro se hanno ricevuto la nota o nonppure hanno fatto una compensazione una volta che sapevano che era ora luna di miele e ci hanno dato qualche regalo 🙏🏻😄 Anche taxi o didi non possono andare all'interno per cadere direttamente vicino all'ingresso dell'hotel, ma il nostro uomo ha chiamato l'hotel per aiutarci, così sono venuti a prendere i nostri bagagli e valigie tutto il modo per l'hotel che considero un plus! 😁 Raccomandare davvero di prenotare l'hotel marittimo sicuramente goderà il vostro soggiorno

We stayed at Sanya Yalong Bay Dream Tours Bay Resort Pool Villa for 5 nights and ended up extending our stay for another 8 nights—which probably says more than anything else about how much we enjoyed it. We originally booked only a few nights to make sure the accommodation met our expectations, and it definitely did. The apartment was exceptionally clean, modern, and very spacious. It has two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which was perfect for our family. Our two kids had plenty of room to play indoors, making it feel much more like a home than a hotel room. The swimming pool was another highlight. It is large, clean, and great for both adults and children. The only minor issue is that some of the tiles on the pool stairs could use renovation, as the edges can scratch your legs if you're not careful. The management deserves special praise. They create a WeChat group upon arrival, making communication incredibly easy. Any questions or requests were answered almost immediately. Housekeeping came every day, cleaned the apartment thoroughly, replaced all towels, and even provided extra ones when needed. One thing worth mentioning is the location. The map on Trip.com shows the location of the resort's villas, not the apartment buildings where we stayed. This was a surprise at first, but the apartments are actually located next to Yalong Bay Outlets and the Bank of China Yalong Bay Branch. Yalong Bay Beach is not within comfortable walking distance, but a DiDi taxi takes only about 5 minutes and is very inexpensive, so it was never an issue. The only other minor inconvenience was that the elevator key card occasionally didn't work smoothly, but it was a small issue and didn't affect our stay. This is an excellent choice for families looking for a clean, quiet, and spacious place to stay. If you're planning to eat out frequently, keep in mind that Yalong Bay has relatively limited dining options. We often took a taxi to the Dadonghai area, where there is a much wider selection of restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for families visiting Sanya.

Nessuna doccia pioggia. Big scarpe. Gli appatti e i ganci. Stivali di potenza non ben posizionati. Buona posizione al di là del parco popolare. Buss ovunque, tra cui la stazione ferroviaria e l'aeroporto. Molto stazioni alimentari, ristoranti, negozi di comodità, negozi commerciali vicino. Molto popolare hotel.Colazione semplice ma buona.
