Hotel a 3 stelle in Prefettura di Shiga, Giappone

After a crowded Kyoto, I love the peaceful and tranquil environment of this beautiful onsen hotel-ryokan and charming castle town. Everything about the hotel speaks of relaxation and well-being. It's only a 7-8min walk away from Hikone Train Station but there is a hotel shuttle that leaves at 9, 10 and 11 am if you need a drop off. Pick up could probably be arranged too. The hotel offers a pretty outdoor terrace with Castle view, an on-site spa with massage, a library lounge with free drinks till 10pm, a foot reflex corner and a compact onsen with a silk bath (all with Castle view) and hot stone benches. I had the whole onsen to myself in the evening, so it was very relaxing. The staff are kind and lovely too, making an effort to explain all the services and amenities in English. The buffet breakfast was also one of the better ones I've seen in my trips to Japan. If you're visiting the Castle, the entrance road is right outside the hotel. The main castle road is about 5-10 min away but you will pass by a famous Japanese confectionery, Taneya and Club Harie. Their souvenirs are one that even the Japanese cherish. I would wish to come here again with my partner one day. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Non sapevamo che questo fosse un hotel d'amore e lo capivamo solo il giorno prima di entrare, perché il check-in è solo a partire dalle 6:00. La stanza è molto spaziosa e non ci importava il ****, preservativi e molti prodotti di bellezza che veniva con. Tuttavia, non sapevo che le camere d'albergo in Giappone potessero fumare, quindi il forte odore di sigarette in camera era molto fuori luogo. Il secondo giorno ho notato che alcuni dei **** dell'hotel erano andati in camera nostra, ma la stanza non era stata costruita (letto non era fatto, la spazzatura non era vuota). Ho chiesto al personale e hanno detto che l'hanno rimosso perché pensavano che ci fosse stato disturbato. Questo era un po' strano per me, non so da dove hanno avuto l'idea e non so perché siano entrati nella stanza. Ho avuto una grande esperienza di soggiorno presso la Vessel Inn Moriama, i ricevitori erano amici e amici, e il custode prestava grande attenzione ai dettagli, mantenendo la stanza molto pulita. Ho prenotato l'hotel per preoccuparmi di non essere buono per la colazione.Questa volta ho prenotato l'hotel Dongjiinn per sette giorni e due giorni.Quando ho fatto colazione dopo l'alloggio, ho scoperto che molte varietà di colazione sono state trovate, anche se non posso dire che sono molto ricca, ma la nutrizione è assolutamente sufficiente. Anche se è un po' lontano dalla stazione di Dajin JR, è vicino al ferro.C'è una strada di mercato vicino, ci sono supermercati e hotel. Il mercato è un po' freddo e il business chiude presto. Da qui parte, abbiamo viaggiato principalmente intorno al lago di Liu.Abbiamo visitato il Museo di bellezza di Shijiang, il Santuario di Liu Wei, la città di Liugen, la città di Liu Jiang, la tremila stalle di Santuario di Liu Jiang, Dunhuang Long, Yujijing e altri luoghi.

Being right next to the train station and a supermarket (and 100 yen shop!), this hotel is very convenient! It was great to find a washing machine and dryer within the men's public bath area--this allowed me to start washing some laundry, relax in the bath and then free massage chair, and then take my clean clothes back to my room. Breakfast offered a lot of variety--it was wonderful! A bonus was that the hotel had three bicycles available for free rental (during the time I stayed there--this is perhaps a seasonal amenity). This allowed me to ride to the ferry to Okishima one morning (note: it takes one hour to reach the ferry and then one to get back to the hotel, so plan accordingly).

We stayed two nights in the hotel with breakfast and dinner. The web page of Trip.com showed that there was onsen in the hotel but when we check in, we were told that it was a ”mistake”. There is no onsen and the photo is a public onsen half an hours away. It was very disappoining that the Trip.com include photos irrelevant to the hotel. Dinner was also diffferent from the web photo. We have to pay 2500 yen each to upgrade the dinner to shsbu shabu. Breakfast is Japanese style with limited choice. Other than these, we had lake view room and shopping mall is nearby which are the advantages.

A great place to stay near the station with friendly helpful staff and a somewhat pretty nice breakfast, considering it is complimentary. This hotel is close to Hikone Castle and the JR station. The hotel also offers a lot of parking space for free, which being close to the station is amazing! The room was clean and tidy with a typical Japanese style small bath. The only thing that upset us, was the lack of Onigiri which had been in the photos when booking. But. Again, the breakfast is complimentary and seasonal as said in the hotel, so no big issue! Would stay again!
