Hotel a 5 stelle in Ontario, Canada

Booked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative. The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived. I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

The only thing good about this stat is the location. Very close to Union rail station and also very close to central Toronto. Now for the bad. The quality of room was dreadful. There is lack of wardrobe space, no fridge to store our personal goods the bathroom is small and the toilet is in a really tight space. The bath is not secure as the bottom flexes when you stand on it. The room itself is tired and could do with renovation. I would have liked to have been nearer to the area of the hotel that had lifts working too. A very long walk from the East Wing to the main core lifts was a chore. Would have been good to have been told about this before we were given our room. Check in time was too long. They needed more staff to be at check in. The queue was very long. When I aired my issues to the hotel, the customer service was not being particularly helpful in making our stay more enjoyable. They wanted to do as little as possible. The best they could offer me was a credit of 100 CAD to spend in their hotel. Scant consolation in my view Access to the hotelitself is not step free. If you are a wheelchair user or poor mobility you will need help from the staff. If you have heavy luggage you will struggle also. However to be fair we had help from the staff to take our cases into the hotel. When you check out it's a different story. You have to fend for yourself Quite frankly this is a very poor hotel to stay in.

The hotel was meeting my expectations. The staff here were very attentive and very friendly.

L'hotel più antico e lussuoso di Ottawa è situato in una posizione perfetta all'ingresso del Canale Rideau. Vivendo qui, in soli cinque o dieci minuti a piedi si possono raggiungere Parliament Hill, il Rideau Canal, Byward Market e la National Gallery. Soggiornare al Fairmont Chateau Laurier è come entrare in un castello delle fiabe, abitato da principi e principesse. Sotto i vostri piedi sono stesi spessi tappeti e ci sono lussuosi lampadari, colonne in stile europeo e archi a tutto sesto. Il lungo corridoio è illuminato a giorno... Ovunque si respira un'atmosfera retrò e aristocratica.

The hotel was swanky, and we loved our stay. The view from the pool was fantastic. The restaurant on site had an incredible service, and the service was great.

Le camere erano grandi e spaziose. Bagno aggiornato con doccia in piedi. Pulizia e confortevole. Posizione è grande fuori (literalmente in tutto) della collezione di partenza del Niagara. Parcheggio sul sito è disponibile per un canone di 15 CAD (2023)

We had an amazing experience at the Soho hotel. The room was impeccable with a spacious closet area and huge bathroom. The room offered all the amenities. And the turn down service every evening was a nice touch. The location was great as well. Many food establishments nearby and it was close to everywhere we planned on going. We would definitely stay here again.

在多倫多的st regis 呆了2個晚上，整體來説體驗不錯。check in不是很順滑，在攜程預留的工商銀行信用卡居然不能授權（在國外其他酒店沒有發生過這個問題），衹能刷澳洲信用卡。奇怪的是刷完澳洲的信用卡後，又被告知工商銀行的卡可以用了。 包的2人早餐是80$ credit一天，可以在餐廳Louis Louix消費，也可以點private dining到房間。

酒店的位置很好，不遠就是聖羅倫斯市場，我們經常去那邊買飯吃，地鐵站和火車站都在附近。酒店大堂裝修豪華，很好當地特色。工作人員非常親切，看見我帶着孩子，問我需要兩張床麼，發現沒有兩張床的房間，幫我升級了個套房，雖然是在二樓，但已經非常好，還推薦我去看一年一次的加勒比嘉年華巡遊。房間很乾凈，徐了地毯有點點味。清潔人員很細心，她看見礦泉水不夠，會給很多支，然後看見沒有牙膏，也給你補充，本來是不提供牙膏和牙刷的。餐廳裏的服務人員也很親切，徐了免了孩子的早餐費外，還送我麪包，咖啡，我説我喝水就可以，他還是要送我，這間酒店真大方。酒店有一百多年歷史，裏面還保留一些190幾年酒店的照片。如果需要改進的地方，就是電梯改成需要刷卡才能進就更加安全了，然後房間的空調改進一下，現在聲音有點大。

The location is located in the city center, which is very convenient, but there are few good restaurants. It is a good choice for family visits.
