Hotel a 3 stelle in Giava Orientale, Indonesia

Our 2nd time staying at this hotel. It was in a good neighborhood (many street food vendor at night). Good service (fast check-in/out), suitable parking space. Overall a great stay for us.

This is actually a VERY COOL hotel. As someone who LOVE vintage things, I really appriciate this place. From their historical front building, their vintage styled room, all took me back to the 90s to early 2000. The NOSTALGIA 🥺. When I was little, my grandpa and grandma used to take me travel and stayed at hotels. So hotels like these have a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, it looked like they really cut down the budget. Although they gave a very cheap price for their room (not more than IDR 250K including breakfast), on WEEKENDS?? But the towels were not white anymore and felt thin (not like other hotel towels), the sheets had tough spots, and no shower cap. But I loveddd the lemongrass soap and shampoo, and they were in dispensers so less plastic waste. The breakfast was really sad. It was nice when I stayed here around a couple of years ago. But this time it was worse. Not too many options and looked empty. Really felt like they didn't put much effort. Well, what do you expect for that price? And I understand they might be in a very tight budget. I noticed they added a ”Mini Zoo” signage. A staff warned me that there were not many animals yet. But I decided to go see it. Turned out it was located in the side of the parking road (but outdoor), there were fishes and a big avian animal (like chicken but different, I don't know what it was). And some parakeets in two separate cages, they were all dead 😭😭 I told a staff and they quickly removed the dead birds. Good idea but poor execution. But anyways, location was top. Just a few meters across the street, there was a bus stop and you can hop on the Suroboyo Bus to go anywhere. And the hotel itself was in a main street of a hot destination (Old Town Surabaya), with historical buildings complex, also with the chinatown nearby. I really hope they can survive this economy storm. I really love this hotel 🥺.

Ho soggiornato quasi dieci giorni in Indonesia, ho vissuto molti hotel. Il servizio è molto buono. Questo hotel è il primo hotel che vuole valutare. La posizione geografica è un po' sotto il vulcano. Voglio dire, il servizio è molto importante, siamo 17 a 7: La stanza 22, che stavo per stare intorno a 00, perché il mio piede è stato rotto quando ho fatto il sottomarino il giorno precedente. Ho chiesto alla reception di fare il bagno. Voglio occuparmi di me. La signora della reception mi ha aiutato a portare la borsa medica nella stanza. Mi ha aiutato a mettere le ferite. Molto seriamente, attentamente, le sono molto grato, Il giorno dopo, un signore del personale dell'hotel ci ha aiutato a prendere il bagaglio sulla strada e a prenotare l'auto dalla montagna. Grazie. La posizione è molto buona, le camere non sono molto spaziose ma pulite. Il bagno è piccolo ma lo scaldabagno funziona bene. La connessione Wifi è fluida ma la scrivania è troppo piccola per un laptop e un bollitore. Ma nessun problema. C'è anche un servizio di parcheggio gratuito. Il problema era che l'aria condizionata nella nostra camera 9012 (soggiorno dal 9 al 24 aprile) non funzionava normalmente, siamo arrivati ​​solo di notte dopo essere tornati a casa, ma aspettavamo da molto tempo ma non faceva freddo. Alla fine lo staff tecnico è venuto a controllare e ad aggiungere freon all'aria condizionata esterna, dopodiché la temperatura della stanza è diventata un po' fredda ma non così fredda come dovrebbe essere 😢 ma poiché era già sera non volevamo cambiare stanza. Per il menu della colazione compreso così così, i bambini di 5 anni pagano 50.000 IDR, a differenza del solito, i bambini di 5 anni sono comunque gratuiti. Non c'è una piscina per bambini, solo una piscina per adulti con una profondità di 120 cm. E purtroppo apre solo alle 10, dopo l'ora della colazione (forse perché è sullo stesso piano). E chiude alle 17:00. Si spera che i servizi e le strutture vengano ulteriormente migliorati, in particolare l'aria condizionata e la piscina. 👌

Potrebbe essere l'hotel con il miglior hardware nella città di Bromo. La posizione è relativamente economica ma l'ambiente è molto buono. Ci vogliono 10 minuti a piedi per raggiungere un ponte di osservazione sul fianco della montagna con molti locali. In montagna ci sono inevitabilmente molte zanzare e mosche.

The room is very bright thus enough light when its needed for me to work during my business trip. The breakfast have decent amount of choices. Will definitely come back and stay here in the future trip

📍Location (+) Located in the city center, convenient access to many tourist spots in Surabaya. There's Indomaret next to the hotel, which makes it convenient too. Wisata Rasa, a recommend place to buy edible souvenirs (like almond crispy), is also nearby. (-) I expected very walkable distance to Tunjungan Romansa, but it is apparently further away than expected. Still walkable but will take quite some time, and only walkable at night. Walking in the day is not very feasible due to Surabaya hot weather. 🏠 Room Facilities (+) TV, desk, 3 electrical outlets, wardrobe with hangers, storage cabinet, safety box, air dryer in the bathroom, and electric kettle are available. Water gallon for refills is available outside the room. (-) The lights in the room are dim, which makes the room unsuitable for work. Toilet issue is of low quality. No fridge. Cuttlery are provided with charge. 🏨 Hotel Facilities (+) Great breakfast with various options, including local delicacies like lontong balap. There are board games, mini pool table, and foosball. PCs are available in the lobby, not sure if it works though. Can store luggage in the receptionist after check out. Toilets are available in the lobby. (-) The hotel only gives 1 access card per room, even if I book a room for 2 people. Was excited to see congklak game but apparently the seeds weren't enough. 👥 Service (+) Friendly staffs. Could ask for extra towel. Could request for specific housekeeping cleaning time.
