We found the location excellent. The pick up and drop off for travellers a very good service. Our room was comfortable and clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu has a wide range of options. We used Swiss Belinn each time we passed through Surabaya and that would indicate that we found it excellent value.

Forse l'unica denuncia su questo hotel, solo il custode, hanno davvero fatto la pulizia così presto a 09.00 am, battere la porta, e dopo 1PM stanno pulendo con ”magica” ma non hanno funzionato hahahahahaa ... La stanza è ancora sporca e sporca

Ho avuto un piacevole soggiorno all'hotel detto. Mi è stata data una sorpresa alla porta della mia stanza, portandomi una piccola torta di compleanno e cantando canzone di compleanno.
La cosa che può migliorare è l'armadio, che ha un odore strano. Forse la gestione può guardarla. Grazie.

It’s a decent hotel located in center of Surabaya near to Tunjungan Plaza and Jalan Tunjungan. The room is very standard to everything one person need for few nights stay… nothing fancy. I was assigned room with amazing view from 6th floor. The room is clean and neat and I love that they have smart TV. Wifi is pretty fast and reliable too. One thing for improvement is foul smell on the hallway. I think it’s due to the aging building. However, staffs clean the hallway carpet regularly. I would surely return to this hotel if I go back to Surabaya.

The cabins are very clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The concept itself is quite cool—each cabin blends technology and nature. Upon arrival, we were asked to download an app that controls everything: locking/unlocking the door, ordering food, communicating with staff, adjusting lighting, and controlling the window frosting. Inside the cabin, there’s also a built-in smart device that does the same, plus displays the weather, date, and even allows you to play music.
The staff were incredibly friendly. When we mentioned we were cold, they brought extra bedding, which was much appreciated.
Unfortunately, there were two major downsides. First, when we arrived late at night, we discovered there was no hot water—an especially unpleasant surprise since it was cold. There was no heating in the room either. The hotel sent an engineer to help, and by the next day we had hot water, but it was still limited. Second, while breakfast was included in our booking, we were disappointed to learn that coffee was not, and each person could only choose one meal from the menu. This wasn’t clearly communicated beforehand.
The view from the cabin is stunning—you can see Mount Bromo right from your room. Sadly, the weather didn’t cooperate during our visit, so we couldn’t fully enjoy it. The food menu at the hotel is great, with several good options to choose from.
This hotel offers a clean, innovative stay with beautiful views and excellent staff. However, clearer communication about included amenities and resolving issues like hot water availability would really elevate the overall experience.

EE2754****L'hotel è stato inaugurato alla fine di quest'anno. Le camere sono molto pulite, ma c'è un po' di odore di decorazione e poiché la stanza non ha finestre, sarà un po' soffocante dopo aver chiuso la porta in montagna farà un po' freddo dopo il tramonto.
Il bagno è molto pulito e il design delle decorazioni è abbastanza buono. Tuttavia, l'acqua calda sembra essere di tipo riserva. Dopo il ritorno del vulcano la mattina, una persona ha avuto l'acqua calda per fare la doccia, ma la seconda persona no acqua calda. L'acqua era molto calda di notte.
La stanza è un po' lontana dalla lobby. Puoi chiedere al personale di aiutarti a portare i bagagli al momento del check-in e della partenza. Sono molto cordiali e cordiali (è un po' stancante dopo aver camminato fino in fondo).

First night due to my flight delay I check in around 10pm and I get a last room ( in front of the room is emergency exit ) very bad feeling when I step in the room, I feel “something” inside . Request to change but reception inform full house. Midnight my room keep got water sound , flush water sound !
Second morning I request to change room , 8pm finish work bck to hotel told me full ? I’m like ***? I requested to change in the early morning. One round of battle , I manage to change room , the boy told he help me take my luggage from old room, after 10 min , luggage that they sent to me is not belong to me!!!! Where is my baggage? After half an hour, my baggage is back to my room and they told me found it at the other room ??!! I got so many question mark in my mind . 11pm , a boy keep knock my dooor and call Ibu ibu……in the morning , housekeeping come in without knocking the door at 928am ! Thanks god that moment I’m done changing !
Third night : this is the worst night for me. Been awake by toilet water sound again ! But this time is different , I feel something not right and I’m so scared. I try to ignore , but I feel “someone” sit on the other side of my bed and I feel my blanket is grasp firmly to the left side（I slept at right side ) ! The following is 447 am someone knock my door again !
I on my light and dare not to sleep anymore !
Fourth night : no story as I only back to hotel at 2am , I leave at 6am to airport
Hotel location is really good , breakfast nice too .

The breakfast is great, tasty, and the selection is even greater, they have a lot of varieties of Indonesian food. The room is great in size, the floor is clearly swept, the bathroom is clean, the amenities are adequate (bring your own hair dryer bcs the one they have is not as great). But terribly disappointed with the cleaners, I used the spoon and glass on day 1 and they didn't even bother to clean them, only put on the usual spot. I tried to ”tell” them again the next day yet they still haven't cleaned any 🥲🥲

SSharon PSVarna Culture Hotel is located at strategic location closer to Tunjungan Plaza and many local eateries around. But I was given a room at smoking floor although when I booked I already requested for nonsmoking room. We have to inhale lots of 2nd hand smoke which was quite bad for our throat and causing us hard to breathe. The bathroom had given us lots of problems, after we took a shower, we realised the water cannot flow into the drainage hole and stayed floating next to the toilet bowl. The whole floor flooded as the floor design was a problem. When we complained to front desk staff, they already knew the problem but they cannot do anything. They only offered the housekeeper to mop away the water. Which the floor still wet. The water pressure is too low while we on the shower. The shower head positioned wrongly on wall and not flexible which caused the shower water to shoot directly to the opposite wall instead of to our body or face. It wet the whole towel rack and the toilet bowl behind us. Hence, we have to hold the shower head most of the time to ensure we can clean our body thoroughly. Breakfast served was average. The juices were quite plain and no fruit flavour. The overall food served was OK. No minibar in the hotel. We have to buy ice cube 5,000rp for a cup of 4pcs ice cudes.
