Ok so here goes, we read the previous reviews and were dreading our stay but have learnt from previous experiences to trust our own judgement and I am so glad we did. We found out that the hotel has only been taken over a year ago and the new owners are renovating (no noise) and trying to get the hotel back up to standard. Rome wasn’t built in a day. As you drive up the road you are greeted with a big beautiful hotel, the grounds were clean, tidy and well kept. As you go through the huge wooden door you are greeted by a smell that to me is perfect, (it takes me back to my childhood) it is like old wooden furniture. The check in process was easy and reception staff pleasant. The carpets on the ground floor and up the stairs have just been redone. The decor was lovely like oldie worldie which I loved. We stayed in room 26 which has a four poster bed, the room itself is very big! Quite basic but again in keeping with the theme and was very clean (I even checked the top of the dresser). We went to the leisure building to use the swimming pool which has just been retitled in the actual pool and around the pool, perfectly fine for us. Clean and that’s what counts. The man on reception there was lovely. After a swim we went to the bar area where we were greeted by Tom, what a guy! So friendly and chatted which we loved, we also got chatting to another guest and we all have a few laughs which was brilliant. Thank you Tom you made our evening! We got ready for dinner and we very happy with food, Adam the chef definitely knows what he doing, the food was perfect. The only small complaint I have is the server Laura speaks quite loud and without background music in the restaurant it was very noticeable. The bed was a little hard, the room had sky tv which was good as well as tea and coffee facilities. My husband loved breakfast but unfortunately it wasn’t for me, although there are options. There was a very nicely spoken waiter at breakfast, he would do great on the evening dining shift. We went for a walk around the grounds and found them peaceful and interesting. My small minor complaints are the dust on the curtain hooks in the dining area and cobwebs, and no mirror in the bathroom. When you book just remember that it is being renovated, and if you modernise it too much it will lose its character, there are parts of the hotel that are closed off but you don’t need them anyway. Again thank you to Tom and Adam for great food and company. Some of the pictures on previous reviews are from closed off areas which guests should not be going down. Yes we found them too but it didn’t make me not like the hotel I just thought at least they are keeping everything in one place.

Dove iniziare con questo? Prima ho chiesto di annullare, perché veniva sotto con i sintomi di COVID. Ramada Telford non sembrava preoccuparsi di questo, però, la richiesta è stata rifiutata (nessuna offerta di un altro soggiorno, o rimborso parziale, niente). Mi sentivo meglio, e deciso di viaggiare. Nel check-in (e nel sito web, foto attaccato) non mi è stato detto niente sulla piscina che era fuori servizio. Mi sembrava. Non c'era alcuna offerta di rimborso completo o parziale. Niente. Fortunatamente, il viaggio è entrato con una buona volontà. Parla a alcune persone (in appresso denominate) per posta elettronica e basicamente dicendo ”non possono fare nulla” e ”è colpa del viaggio” che il sito web non rifletteva che la loro piscina fosse fuori uso dal dicembre. A lovely one night stay at The Bull, The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially as I was travelling with my arm in a sling, even to the point of offering to cut my breakfast up so I could eat it 😂😂😂 this was very appreciated! In my room the shower cubicle needed a better clean as there were long hairs from where some one has washed their hair and the bedroom curtains needed blackout blinds in the actual window recesses to block out the street lights, and in the recess, as people could look up from the street and see behind the curtains. Signage or more visible prompts explaining where to go to check in would also be good ! All that having been said I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others needing a short stay in the town.

La posizione è decente per un soggiorno notturno.Il personale è amichevole ed efficiente. La stanza è molto di base, ma tutto bene per quello che abbiamo pagato. La caduta era il rumore di prima mattina, svegliarsi per camion che si svegliano e si riversano alle 7 di domenica non è la mia idea di un buon sonno notturno (che è tutto quello che abbiamo davvero bisogno, questo è seguito da trolley che suonano e spaventano, Pensiamo che si tratti di una vera caduta a un bel po' di fermata. Ho consigliato il ricevitore e lei ha detto che era le consegne .... che capisco sono necessari .... ma non 7am domenica sicuramente e se così fosse un po' più pensato per coloro che dormono. Purtroppo questo ha influenzato la mia classifica generale come davvero paghi per dormire bene, ma non l'ho fatto.

I stayed here with 2 others for 2 nights to attend an event. It was perfect for our needs. Very nice room that was exceptionally clean and a fantastic walk-in shower. Having lots of parking and being near lots of shops and restaurants was very helpful. It was very easy to walk to places I needed to be. Breakfast was good! Nothing exceptional but the continental selection did the job and despite limited hot food I could still make myself some nice bacon sandwiches. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Very affordable and would definitely stay again!

A lovely hotel with a beautiful view and very quiet area for a good night's sleep. The beds are very spacious and comfortable; the best night sleep I have had in a long time. A great size shower with a seat to suit guests with accessible needs. The shower products smell great and leave your skin feeling smooth. The breakfast was very nice with many different options. I opted for a hot breakfast which was buffet style with unlimited apple and orange juice. The night light was perfect for late night reading. I would definitely come back

La settimana scorsa sono rimasto all'hotel di Lilleshall per un evento di lavoro di Natale, la notte stessa era meravigliosa e un sforzo era andato a renderlo festivo, il pranzo di Natale era grande e la stanza era ben decorata, non poteva sbagliare la sera.... Tuttavia, il mio soggiorno all'hotel e la nostra camera degli ospiti non erano alle stesse condizioni. Non c'era alcun segnale in zona e il wi-fi non funzionava, la ricezione non poteva aiutare, hanno detto che tutti hanno problemi con esso, anche se il ricevitore era seduto usando il suo cellulare. Ho notato che non c'era un asciugacapelli nella stanza e ho chiesto uno che mi è stato detto che c'era uno in ogni stanza e qualcuno mi avrebbe portato uno... 90 minuti dopo, ancora nessun asciugacapelli. Sono andato a ricevere di nuovo per essere salutato con un nuovo ricevente che mi ha detto che non poteva fare nulla su di esso, mi sono annoiato quando mi è stato detto che avrei dovuto portare uno, quindi ha accettato (finalmente) di ricevere uno per me, è arrivato 20 minuti dopo. La stanza per 2 ospiti aveva solo un mattone da bagno e due piccole tolette da bagno con nemmeno una toletta a mano, non utile quando il bacino, che è una bolla arrotondata, non poteva gestire il tappeto che era su più di un ghiacciatore, mentre si lavava e gettava tutto il pavimento. Domani dopo il nostro lavoro, siamo andati a colazione appena dopo 9.15 che è stato servito fino a 10 per le tasche vuote e è stato detto di aiutarci a molto poco, non c'erano salsa, pomodori o funghi che avevano scappato. Il server ci ha detto che non avevano detto i numeri in sospeso e non avevano abbastanza. Una vergogna come la bella casa e la festa di notte erano grandi, ma il servizio clienti non è un punto molto forte e il personale è meno utile, anche quando ho espresso le mie preoccupazioni via e-mail mi è stata data una risposta senza interesse. Sarei certamente tornato per una notte, ma restare al primo ministro in strada.

What a beautiful hotel exuding old school charm. The room was characterfull, warm and clean. The breakfast, served in a magnificent period dining room, was plentiful and of the highest quality. The staff, were absolutely brilliant, attentive, enthusiastic and very helpful. All in all a wonderful place to stay, we will return.

The swimming pool was nice. The service was good. Dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids was around £50 (two courses) and the food was nice as well. If you are IHG member, you can check out at 12 noon.

Ero disperato per un hotel a Shrewsbury ma ho lasciato andare così ho incontrato questo delizioso pub con le camere circo ho prenotato 2 camere per me e mamma anziana abbiamo avuto un bellissimo soggiorno 2 notti qui i letti erano comodi bellissimi cucchiai grandi doccia bianca Lavanderia di oggetti un carife fresco di acqua abbondante di tè ect sorprendente colazione non potevamo sbagliare nulla in un ambiente molto tranquillo e abbiamo mangiato nel ristorante due volte si può dire la qualità dei cibi utilizzati dagli agricoltori locali sicuramente torna il personale è stato così amichevole e utile grazie per una pausa sorprendente
