Hotel a 3 stelle in Shropshire, Regno Unito

Prenotato una stanza e un pasto serale. Check-in era semplice e il ricevitore era professionale. Sono stati consigliati l'ora del colazione e la posizione della stanza. La camera era spaziosa e grata non troppo calda.La camera da bagno aveva un fan di estrattore che si manteneva. camminando circa 15 minuti dopo la luce era stata spenta! Il letto era molto confortevole, non troppo morbido e il cuscino era caldo.Molte piu'sbagliate :) Ci erano 2 bottiglie d'acqua e una macchina da caffè con le tazze, non l'ho usato, ma l'acqua in un frigo era apprezzata. Le tovaglie erano pulite e il radiatore del bagno era caldo, così le tovaglie erano belle e calde. I bagni sono gratis, ma io ho preso la mia, quindi non li ho usati. Le luci nelle vie di marcia hanno sensori di movimento, quindi la strada è un po' buia quando si entra per primo. Il pasto serale era con il mio gruppo di lavoro e i risultati erano diversi. La maggior parte delle persone si godevano, ma personalmente non lo facevo. La zuppa che ho ricevuto era mezzo fredda e l'altra parte della bocca era calda. Il fungo di stroganoff non aveva gusto, e la mela e il caramello erano il più crudo di caramello. Era molto occupato e il personale sembrava troppo occupato, perché nessuno si chiedeva se fossero buoni o se avessimo bisogno di bere e dovevo affondare le persone per qualche volta. La zona di accoglienza è anche il bar. Evidentemente un pub popolare, perché era pieno di persone, ma forse dovrebbero avere più personale, le stesse persone sembravano occuparsi di check-in, cena e bevande al bar. Sembrava solo un po' disorganizzato. Le bevande qui erano belle e preziose, e fanno anche un grande vino 250 ml, a differenza di molti posti oggi. La mattina dopo, la colazione era grande, buon caffè e cibo caldo. Controlla che sia stato semplice, restituisca la tua carta chiave. Io resterei ancora qui, ma forse non avrei il pranzo!

We stayed at the Days Inn Telford Ironbridge for a quick overnight stop on a road trip, and overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect—just off the M54 at a service area, which made it really convenient without needing to go into town. Despite being near the motorway, the room was surprisingly quiet and I had no trouble sleeping. The room itself was clean and well-kept, with all the basics I needed for a short stay—comfortable bed, TV, free Wi-Fi, and a kettle for tea/coffee. It’s not luxury, but for the price, it delivers solid value. The staff at check-in were friendly and efficient, even though I arrived a bit late in the evening. There’s no restaurant in the hotel itself, but being attached to the service station meant I had access to a few food options, which was handy. Also, it’s just a short drive to Telford town centre or Ironbridge Gorge if you’re staying longer and want to explore the area. Overall, it’s a no-frills stay, but it’s exactly what I needed—clean, convenient, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

I only booked for one night to break our journey to North Wales from London, so my expectations were not that high, I just wanted a bed for the night. The location was within walking distance from Shrewsbury station, down a small alley off the main shopping street. I didn't realise it would get quite noisy, and there was actually a band playing in the pub the night of our stay - our room was directly above it! So we went to bed late! For some this could've been a disaster, but saw the funny side and at least the band were playing songs I liked, and I travelled with ear plugs so did manage to get to sleep. The room was well equipped, comfortable & clean besides this. I had booked breakfast but due to not realising what time it would start from and having to be on an early train, actually couldn't stay for it. To compensate the lady who checked us in kindly offered to make us lunch instead, so we had some sandwiches, nuts, crisps and snacks from the bar to take with us, which I appreciated, as I was travelling with my young son.

Spent first night in noisy room with less than satisfactory plumbing. We were upgraded to a minimise for night 2 - excellent customer.er service. A great historic building that was lacking soul as bar was closed.

From the very start, Rebecca was an absolute star. Her proactive communication and all the useful information she shared made us feel confident we were in for a lovely stay and we truly were. She greeted us on a rainy day with a big smile that instantly made us feel at home.The house is beautifully set among rare farmlands, offering peace and scenic charm. Our room, which had a private balcony, gave us stunning countryside views. Having binoculars provided in the room was such a thoughtful touch we loved watching the birds while relaxing outside.The place itself is full of delightful details board games both in the room and the lobby, Sky and Netflix for cozy evenings, and a nice selection of snacks and small bites available.Breakfast was served with a view, and it was excellent fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. My wife and I truly enjoyed every part of our stay, and we will definitely be coming back.

Where to begin with this one? Firstly i requested to cancel as i was coming down with COVID like symptoms. Ramada Telford seem to not mind that though, so that request was denied (no offer of another stay, or partial refund, nothing). Felt better day of, and decided to travel. On check-in (nor on the website, photo attached) i wasn't told anything about the pool being out of service. Turns out it was. No offer of a full or partial refund. Nothing. Luckily, Trip have stepped in with a good will gesture. Spoke to some people (named below) by email afterwards and basically told ”nothing they can do” and ”it's trip's fault” that the website didn't reflect that their pool had been out of action since DECEMBER. Awful customer service, facilities not available. AVOID AVOID AVOID! Specifically bad service via email: Lis Frost & Richard Bowen

The hotel is a little tired and in need of refurbishment in places. The staff were very friendly, especially considering they were having to work on NYE! The room was warm, the bedding/towels were clean and breakfast was good. We couldn’t connect to WiFi during our stay until we were in the car park ready to leave

I stayed at the hotel to be close to a venue I needed to be the next day. The hotel was clean and staff were available and friendly. Free parking is available. The hotel is very near a co op supermarket and petrol station. There is a pub restaurent next door the Squrriel which uses taste card. If you plan to eat there make a reservation and eat early. The town is nearby but would be a bit of a walk and I didn't see any bus stops for local transport links. The town of Ludlow is only a few minutes and free parking available after 6 pm behind town square. Again could be a good idea to book a table if you need dinner. This is a good Travelodge to stay at.

Abbiamo letto le recensioni e saputo che era sopra un pub vivo, e mentre c'era rumore come abbiamo controllato in Steve e Louis ci dimostreremo che faranno del loro meglio per avere il livello di rumore inferiore alle 11:00, e lo hanno fatto. Il pub e il ristorante sembrano bellissimi, ma non abbiamo provato questa volta perché avevamo piani e prenotazioni precedenti. Interessato di provare la prossima volta. La camera era bellissima, bella e storica, il bagno era spazioso e pulito. Noi ci consiglieremmo certamente (sappiamo che c'è un rumore forte possibile, ma poi muore perciò è perfetto per noi) e ci fermeremmo di nuovo! Servizio assolutamente stellare!

Purtroppo ho scoperto dei morsi di milbenbisse in Kenthall la prima notte. Non c'era nessun risarcimento. Ho dovuto aggiornare il livello successivo in Main Hall per non avere più il problema. La direzione non mi ha incontrato, anche se sembra che i morsi di milza siano stati visibili sulla schiena e sul braccio. Purtroppo, non ho valutato bene la purezza di Kenthall. Nella nuova stanza della Halle principale ho ricevuto una stanza incredibile con bagno, ferro da arco e un'occhiata incredibile al giardino. L'aggiornamento era stato ricompensato. Quello che non mi è sembrato buono era che le lampade nel cassetto di vestiti portatili erano tutte vuote dalla batteria e nessuno ha scambiato le batterie. Inoltre non c'era aria condizionata. Tornerei ancora. Vorrei dire il benvenuto alle camicie e ai lampadine di Kenthall. A proposito, mi aspetto ancora la fattura per l'aggiornamento.
