Hotel a {{star}} a Norfolk, ({{countryName}})

Really looking forward to staying here, because according to the reviews it is almost perfect. But it is not! Firstly parking is not easy. One side of the street is timed parking, the other is in a restricted zone, so beware if you are taking your car there. Whilst booking we asked for a room in a quiet area as we are very light sleepers, and had to get up very early the next morning to go to work. Getting into our room, past the ”I am clean” sign on the door handle,there was no window open, and the room was suffocating. We pulled back the curtains to find window condensation between the 2 panes. Photo attached, but to our dismay, the extractor fan for the hotels kitchen was right outside our room, and was on full blast, so impossible to leave the window open. Went downstairs to ask if there was another available room, we would have been happy with a family room and pay the difference, but we were told the hotel was full. So back to our room, and longing for a shower went into the shower room. 1 loose tile on the floor which rocked when you stood on it, and disgusting mold both in the shower cubicle & on the adjoining wall. So no shower, and health issues meant that I could only spend the briefest of time in that unsanitary room. It does not take much to clear up that health & safety issue, if only the owners could be bother to check that their rooms are fit for purpose. The room itself is a bit worn and unloved. One of our 2 single beds had something below the divan on the floor, again picture attached. Heaven knows what that is? Strangely, some one had taken the tissues out of the complimentary box, cut them in half & put them back in the box. What is the point in that, as you needed 2 halves to use for any purpose that you might want! One plus point, the amenity tray was well stocked. Lastly when we checked out the next morning @ 6am, the room next to us still had the ” I am clean” sign on it, so an unused room, and not a full hotel as we were told.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Marlborough Hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Snowy white linens and towels, which I always appreciate. I did have a bath and the water was lovely and hot. Breakfast was Continental, you could make your own toast, there were cheeses, jams, marmalade, fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereals and a wide range of teas and coffees to choose from. The coffee was particularly good. The hotel manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The other members of staff were very polite and courteous. This is the ideal place to use as a base to explore the lovely city of Norwich. The hotel is such good value for money and I would definitely stay there again if I was n the area.

We stay in a lot of guesthouses as we move around. We don’t leave many public reviews on tripadvisor & google because of what we now do, but every now and then a place does deserve a bit of a constructive writeup. We ran a guest house for over ten years. Negative reviews are something to take seriously and often highlight ‘little’ problems that the operators overlook or where they have let a standard drop. Other negative reviews can simply be someone with an axe to grind to get a part refund but should still be taken seriously and if its legitimate then always give some money back otherwise if they complain to their bank or credit card company and exercise their rights, you’ll end up with the entire fee taken from you by the bank under the credit card agreements. What we’re saying is we’re not easily put off by a few negative reviews. Keep a balance and open mind. We have stayed at other guest houses in the same road and know some of the other owners , therefore through talking to them we had prior knowledge that the Little Emily has recently changed hands and potentially going through a few changes and thats why it ended up on our list of places to visit. We had another business need to be in the area and at short notice at the height of the season finding somewhere starting midweek extending across a bank holiday was near impossible. Most owners want Monday to Friday, Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Saturday. The Little Emily was very accommodating with our dates. This is intended both for the guest that may visit but also constructive suggestion for the owners. It is lengthy though, so stick with it and as a guest you might learn something. Our experience The booking was done direct by phone, no actual problems noted other than the price we were quoted was £5 higher than the booking dot com website, which in our opinion and experience that site should be avoided but that’s another story. We didn’t receive any email or texts confirming our booking, normally something would arrive explaining check in/out times and a bit of info, but not an issue. We arrived at around 2:30pm, front door locked no-one apparently on site. Another family had been there a while and mentioned that they’d been calling the numbers but no answer. Omar I believe his name was, (if it wasn’t then we apologise we were given the wrong name by someone else) appeared a while later announcing he’s the manager and told us all to come back at 3pm for check-in. We came back later, check in was okay conducted in the hallway. The owner isn’t a very chatty person so it was a little awkward but that could be shyness or experience if he’s a new owner and not used to dealing with the public. It really does take a while to build confidence. We had to ask for info rather than it being volunteered, as an owner you get asked the same questions over and over and become very well-rehearsed, another reason for a good booking confirmation document as this is a good place to e

Very friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. The lift was out of order but help with our luggage was offered immediately. Room was immaculate and well equipped, with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The only inconvenience was no socket for the hairdryer near a mirror. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot and cold items, but more seating would be useful. Staff were clearing tables as quickly as possible, but as it was a warm and sunny morning we ate outside. Would definitely stay here again.

I potenziali clienti di questo hotel dovrebbero considerare attentamente se soggiornare in questo sconto, alloggio impuro e non benvenuto nonostante la sua buona posizione vicino a La stazione e il centro della città. Quando mi avvicinò alla porta anteriore dell’hotel, mi era apparso che avevo fatto una terribile scelta di un posto per soggiornare per la notte, data le matite rotte, le finestre sporche e la porta di ingresso chiusa. Quando la signora finalmente rispose alla porta, ci fu età per trovare la mia prenotazione e finalmente mi controllava, e non poteva uscire abbastanza velocemente da me, uno dei peggiori, benvenuti in un hotel. I corridoi che portavano alla stanza avevano tappeti di colore e un odore terribile. La camera doppia era terribile, il letto era spinto nell'angolo, non aveva un letto a fianco, il letto era vestito di vecchio, indossato di lino con un tubo sottile e le mutandine piatte, ma era antico, La materassi svuotata significava che il sonno era difficile e inconfortabile. Ci era Wi-Fi, ma non era utile, mentre la TV nuova era mancata la maggior parte dei canali di visualizzazione libera. La finestra non aveva vista, perché aveva vetro oscuro. Per quanto riguarda il bagno in camera, questo era così impuro, mi sentivo molto incomodo a usarlo, ci erano strato di schiuma e di forma in tutto insieme con le tessere rotte ovunque. Il rumore era una questione costante, principalmente dal piombo alto e altri ospiti nelle camere sopra. Questo “hotel” non ha offerto cibo o bevande, nemmeno colazione. Quindi come i proprietari possono chiamare questo hotel è al di là di me. Assolutamente terribile e ingiustificabile.

All five of us had our own room, all situated together in the main house and one had a room with a shower which was located just outside. Breakfast choice was good and we also had our evening meal there each night. The menu for the evening meal did not change but there were 2 vegetarian options and what looked like a good selection otherwise. There were two main lounges and a small, well stocked bar. Also a garden with seating. The hotel was a short-ish walk from town and a bus stop was just opposite. A good choice for a stay in Norwich.

L'hotel di catena vicino a Xiaoqiao è vicino al parco ecologico, l'ambiente è bello e tranquillo, le norme di servizio, le norme di strutture, l'hotel può chiamare un taxi molto conveniente, l'ingresso e l'uscita sono molto convenienti, il frutto standard è ricco, il viaggio o il viaggio sono adatto. E'che ho lasciato un po'di oggetti in hotel quando sono partiti, ma non c'e'una domanda, e'un sorpresa.

Siamo arrivati molto tardi e il manager sul conto era molto comprensivo e più che utile nel garantire che ci fossero ordinati per il nostro soggiorno. La nostra stanza era per morire, guardando il bacino e tutto era perfetto per entrambi. L'hotel è stato fermato nella storia ed è certamente l'hotel più chic che abbiamo mai soggiornato. La lettura del libro degli ospiti, che è pieno di complimenti da parte di persone di tutto il mondo, evidenzia la meraviglia di questo piacevole hotel. Dopo una buona notte di sonno, il colazione è stato secondo a nessuno, con tutto quello che potresti desiderare. Vorremmo complimentarci con il cuoco per un colazione così prezioso - era molto speciale e la maggior parte di tutto fresco!!! Finalmente possiamo prendere un momento per trasmettere i nostri buoni desideri alla adorabile cameriera che ci ha servito - era un miracolo, e ci ha messo in buon umore per il giorno in avanti!! Vi vedete ancora, ragazzi e ancora una volta Grazie mille!!!

Ho avuto fortuna di rimanere nel club di quattro volte in tutte le stagioni nel 2022 e ho davvero apprezzato il senso di privacy, cultura inglese e ambiente prigioniero sulla base, ma era in realtà il locale, La mia esperienza alimentare e alimentare organica mi ha reso sentire come se fossi stato su una sorta di ritratto alimentare di alta qualità per la salute progettato per mostrare al mio corpo come si poteva sentire quando nutrito correttamente. Un enorme, molto ritardo grazie a tutti i dipendenti e la famiglia Somerleyton.
