Io e mio marito siamo soddisfatti del soggiorno all'Hotel Seminaris. La stanza era di buona dimensione, letti ampie e decorazione moderna. Il bagno era molto pulito, ma un po' di molle si stava percorrendo la grotta nel doccia. Anche sul pavimento erano stati trovati tinture di caffè in pezzi meno accessibili della stanza. Per esempio, c'era una lampada a pavimento che non era stata spostata per un po' e il pavimento non era stato rimosso... ma in generale una piacevole esperienza.
Una scelta equa di cibo al colazione e un sacco di spazio per sedersi e rilassarsi.

Grazie al lavoro brillante del ricevitore, lei è riuscita a ordinare questo posto direttamente e non ho mai dovuto muovermi. Brillante. Deffo torna indietro.

La posizione accanto alle strade del treno è buona vicino alla stazione e anche questo è il male, perché c'è rumore dei treni e non è una zona molto bella che diciamo. Il 21m2 studio era ben attrezzato con una piccola cucina molto completa (anche una piccola lavastoviglie), letto, tavolo e bagno. Per quanto riguarda il prezzo è piuttosto alto, ma era impossibile ottenere questo tipo di alloggio intorno a Heidelberg in quelle date e ciò che era disponibile era ancora più costoso, quindi ha coperto le nostre esigenze perfettamente durante le due settimane che avevamo bisogno di un posto per ospitare mio figlio universitario prima di poter occupare il suo appartamento condiviso con gli studenti. Entrata e uscita autonoma, servizio di pulizia una volta alla settimana, lavastoviglie per pagamento nell'edificio, supermercati intorno. Raccomandabile per soggiorni brevi (per il prezzo) soprattutto se si vuole effettuare viaggi in treno da Mannheim

The location is not so central but the bus stop is located a few steps from the hotel. And for people who love to stretch their legs like we do, you can walk to the center maybe aprroximately 30 minutes. The room was clean and got the basic things that we need. The buffet is enough and decent.
In our second day of stay there was a lady who went inside our room without even knocking. She is bringing some fresh towels. Maybe she was mistaken but it is MANDATORY that she knocks before coming inside any room. Btw, we did not order for fresh towels.

L'igiene spaziale e luminosa, non c'è sapore strano della vecchia casa.La posizione è buona, si trova all'angolo del centro della vecchia città, proprio al centro di trasporto della piazza, davanti a un negozio di grandi negozi, dietro un supermercato, ci sono molti ristoranti intorno, molti ristoranti di strada a piedi dall'altra parte, ricco di stile. Due grandi finestre sono molto belle, e camminare può risolvere la maggior parte delle attrazioni.Nota: c'è spazio pubblico con Wi-Fi; nessun aria condizionata, c'è ascensore e riscaldamento; parcheggio privato al contrario della bara di strada, la pista di parcheggio è molto affamata, e devi andare alla reception per prendere la bara di parcheggio prima. In generale, il rapporto di prezzo è molto alto, molto soddisfatto 👍

The lobby immediately gave me a great impression – spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated – and the staff at the reception greeted me with genuine smiles and efficiency, making the check-in process smooth and quick.
The room I stayed in was exceptionally comfortable. It was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed, from a cozy bed with crisp linens to a well-stocked minibar, a flat-screen TV, and reliable Wi-Fi. The bathroom was another highlight: clean, modern, and fitted with high-quality amenities. One small detail I appreciated was how quiet the room was; I could truly relax without any disturbance from outside noise.
The service throughout my stay was outstanding. Every member of the staff, from housekeeping to the concierge, went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. They were always polite, attentive, and ready to help with any request, whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local restaurants, or providing extra towels within minutes.
The hotel’s location was another big plus. SSUSAN TOMIf we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service.
The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had.
Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room.
The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that.
The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.

The hotel itself was very clean, which is always a big plus. The room was small but fine for a couple; however, for a family with a child, it felt a bit cramped. It was manageable for a short stay, but if you're planning to stay longer or need more space, it might not be ideal.
Breakfast was suitable for those accustomed to a typical German breakfast—bread, cold cuts of cheese and sausage, yogurt, and muesli. For those looking for more variety, particularly Asian travelers, the options might feel limited as there were no warm dishes or other typical Asian breakfast items.
One minor inconvenience was that our bottled water was not refilled after the first night, which was a bit disappointing. Also, be sure to lock your door because the cleaning staff may enter in the morning without warning, which can be quite startling if you're not expecting it.
Overall, it's a good place for a quick stay, with a solid, reliable atmosphere and great cleanliness. Just be prepared for a few minor drawbacks, especially if traveling with family, needing more space, or looking for specific breakfast options.

The hotel is stylish and trendy, with cool and friendly staff. Our room was also stylish, though the bathroom was a bit too small. Some might find the room a bit ”unfinished” due to the lack of paint or wallpaper on the ceiling, but I was okay with that as it adds to the industrialized style.
The hotel is quite large, but both lifts are located together, so you might have to walk a bit to reach them. For breakfast, they have an exciting automatic pancake machine! However, there were many people at breakfast, and the food was not always enough, so the staff were really busy refilling it. Despite this, the staff remained helpful and nice.
If you drive to the hotel, be aware that you might not be able to park in the nearest car park. There is a car park underneath the hotel marked ”Moxy Hotel,” but since you cannot reserve parking, it's not guaranteed that you can park there. However, the rates are the same if you park in other nearby car parks.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.
