All staff, from front desk to engineering maintenance, are great. The restaurant breakfast staff might want to smile too. 😊

I recently stayed at the Canmore Inn & Suites on Bow Valley Trail. While the property itself has potential and offers a convenient base for exploring the Rockies, my experience was significantly dampened by a factor I wasn't prepared for: a major local hockey tournament. The ”Tournament” Factor I was unaware upon booking that my stay coincided with a Canmore hockey tournament for U11 and U13 divisions. To say these teams ”took over the hotel” would be an understatement. The volume of children was overwhelming. This translated to: The Pool Area: Practically unusable for other guests; it was packed to capacity with kids from morning until night. Common Areas: Hallways and the lobby were very loud and, at times, felt uncontrollable. Lack of Supervision: There was a noticeable lack of adult/parental supervision in the public spaces, leading to a chaotic atmosphere that isn't ideal if you're looking for a relaxing mountain getaway. Staff and Noise Management To the hotel’s credit, the noise did mostly settle down by 10:30 PM. I spoke with the front desk, and they mentioned we could issue formal noise complaints if needed. However, it felt like a losing battle given the sheer volume of groups. The staff are clearly used to this, as these local tournaments bring in consistent bookings for the hotel. While the team was polite, they seemed stretched thin by the high occupancy and the energy of the young athletes. The Room and Amenities Pros: The location is excellent—close to downtown and Highway 1. The rooms are generally spacious, and the mountain views from the upper floors are a highlight. Cons: The property is showing its age. Some fixtures felt dated, and the cleanliness in the high-traffic common areas suffered due to the heavy foot traffic during the tournament. Final Verdict The simpler solution here is a matter of timing. If you aren't in town to participate in or spectate a tournament, check the local sports calendar before booking. If a U11/U13 tournament is on, I would recommend staying elsewhere. If you are here for the hockey, this is clearly the ”hub,” but for the average traveler, the lack of peace and quiet makes it hard to justify the price point during these peak weekends.

This is my second visit this time it was perfect they renovated it since i walked in smells sooo clean and fresh the housekeeping manger sooo helpful and kind The buffet for dinner amazing Indian cuisine over all very nice experience especially at the pool

La mia camera era spaziosa e pulita, dotata di un letto comodo di dimensioni reali che assicurava un buon sonno di notte, e dotata di un'attrezzatura, tra cui una microonde, un frigorifero e una TV a schermo piatto. Apprezzo in particolare il Wi-Fi gratuito, che è stato affidabile e veloce perfetto per catturare al lavoro e rimanere collegato. Uno dei punti di vista del mio soggiorno è stato il complimentare colazione. Il buffet ha offerto una vasta gamma di opzioni, tra cui uova sgranate, bacon, frutta fresca, yogurt, e una selezione di pasticceria. C'era anche una macchina pancake, che era un divertente toccare! La zona di pranzo era pulita e spaziosa, permettendomi di godere del mio pasto in un ambiente rilassato. La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, soprattutto per i viaggiatori che utilizzano l'aeroporto. È solo una breve distanza, e l'hotel offre un servizio di navetta, che è molto conveniente. Ho sfruttato questo servizio, ed è stato rapido ed efficiente, rendendo la mia arrivo e partenza senza stress. Inoltre, ho avuto la possibilità di usare il centro fitness durante il mio soggiorno, ben dotato di macchine e pesi moderne, e è stato bello avere questa opzione per mantenere la mia routine di allenamento durante il viaggio. In generale, il mio soggiorno all'aeroporto internazionale Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton è stato molto soddisfacente. La combinazione di servizi amichevoli, alloggi confortevoli e comodi alberghi ha reso una scelta ideale per i viaggiatori di attività e di svago. A questo hotel vorrei consigliare a chiunque cercasse un luogo affidabile per stare vicino all'aeroporto. Mi aspetto di restare qui di nuovo durante la mia prossima visita a Edmonton!

Il prezzo è molto amichevole, il personale di servizio è molto educato e il personale di custodia si pulisce ogni giorno.La guancia è molto lontana dal bus, ci vuole circa dieci minuti, ma è anche buona ad adattarsi.

Il letto era troppo duro. L'unità di condizionamento dell'aria si spostava dal caldo al congelatore, anche se l'avevo in un solo ambiente di riscaldamento. L'equipaggio di custodia ha cercato di entrare e pulire la mia stanza 45 minuti prima che mi dovessi andare a controllare. Poi la mia scheda di tastiera è stata disattivata 10 minuti prima del tempo di check-out, quindi sono stata chiusa quando sono tornato dal colazione e dovevo andare al desktop per ripararla. La prima donna al ricevimento ha detto che aveva riattivato la mia scheda, così sono tornato di sopra e era ancora chiusa fuori, e l'ascensore era troppo lento e non volevo essere punito per il check-out tardi, Quindi dovevo andare giù le scale (che erano molto difficili da trovare!) e poi una seconda signora mi diede una nuova chiave per tornare nella mia stanza, poi dovevo andare di nuovo alle scale e finalmente potevo prendere il mio bagaglio e controllare. In generale, è stata una cattiva esperienza.

Location: Excellent location, close to shops and restaurants, etc. and easy to get out of town quickly. Cleanliness: Good overall, but hair in the bathroom, especially shower. Service: There is no hospitality service here, only (attempted) automated provision of a room - which is fine if customers are made aware of this when booking. I booked a couple of days before we stayed. The day of, I received 9 different emails. This included changes to room numbers and door codes. There is no option to check in at the desk on arrival. When we arrived the door code provided in the most recent email didn't work. The email said if there is a problem to go to the front desk in the Electric Wolf Cafe. I looked this up on Google (I am from out of town, had data access but not phone calls) and walked around looking for the Electric Wolf Cafe. After no luck, I popped into a place next door called something else to ask and the girl said that the Electric Wolf Cafe is closed but this was in fact the front desk for the hotel... She was surprised that the emails that I received that day mentioned a closed cafe and asked me to screenshot this and send it to her? I just wanted a correct door code for the room, which she provided. . Facilities: I asked about the hot tub, which she said was closed for renovations. When I mentioned that this was not shared when booking the hotel she said we could use the hot tub at a sister hotel. The primary reason for booking this hotel was because it is conveniently located downtown - we weren't going to get into the car to go get into a hot tub at a different hotel. So there wasn't any facilities beyond the room and a soda machine. No lobby. Parking is available and convenient.

Mio figlio e io abbiamo viaggiato da Edmonton a Jasper e siamo rimasti in questo alloggio. Ci siamo trasferiti per 2 notti e poi siamo andati a Banff . La camera era molto bello e i letti erano molto confortevoli. La vista era irreale. Quando abbiamo avuto un flash, era come qualcosa fuori dal film!! Abbiamo dovuto comprare sacchi di tè perchè avevano solo riso di tè!! Il personale era molto gentile e si sentiva molto sicuro. Mio figlio usava la piscina e la sauna. Lo amava. In tutto, buon soggiorno. Grazie.

I am a customer living in 407 on 9th of November in Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary NW - University Area, an IHG Hotel. . I am writing to complain  the lady on the front desk. She treated me not respectful. When we checked in, I am asking if we have hot spring, she replied several what? And correct me “hot tub” such as I am lack of knowledge. Later, I want to use Landry room and change dollars with them. They gave me several two dollars, and the washing machines only accept 1 dollars, which they should have known at first place. So I went back to the front desk to ask for 1 dollars again. And at that time. There is one guy lining in front of another front desk server. And the lady was answering the phone.  So I naturally stood in front of her desk and waited for her. And I asked her to change 1 dollars for me since they didn’t know. And then she asked me” don’t u notice there is a line? You should wait after it.” So I was so embarrassed to find out I cut in line. So if she is really mindful about me cutting in line, Why not telling me to wait after? Or just remind me in a more respectful way assuming I really don’t know there is a line? Either way will have same effect and I would be acknowledged in a not embarrassing way. And again, the washing machine only accept 1 dollar and they did not know, is their job dereliction. I am very concerned how your service match up with your high level of fees.
