Nuova Zelanda: hotel con spa nella provincia di Otago

Walked out onto the balcony and we were met with these stunning views. The time that we visited (May) meant that it was slightly too cold to be out on the balcony for too long, but the views that we enjoyed out of the window were magnificent. When the first arrived the lady on the front desk was very friendly, and helpful. We had asked for a double bed and had been allocated two single beds. She quickly contacted the ladies from house keeping and they very kindly sprung into action to help rectify the situation. The housekeeping staff were nice and pleasant, and the location was just right for us to get out and about visiting some of the local attractions like the Kiwi birdlife park. The big plus about staying at the highview apartments was having a parking space. When you visit queenstown you'll soon find out that in some places finding a parking space is like gold dust.

Abbiamo prenotato la suite sul lago. Ogni mattina ci salutano con la vista sorprendente! Solo un minuto a piedi dalla fermata degli autobus, che collega il centro della città e l'aeroporto. Lo amava e lo consigliava!

Doubletree è stata un'ultima decisione all'arrivo di Queenstown dal Monte Cook. Anche se è prezioso, non mi dispiace di avere una stanza qui per due notti. È stato fornito con una cucina completamente attrezzata dove potresti cucinare, ma non l'hai usata da quando abbiamo mangiato fuori. Ci sono ampie parcheggi e per gli ospiti che entrano, questo dovrebbe essere complimentare per la durata del soggiorno. La struttura è situata al di fuori di Queenstown ma è disponibile un taxi acqua dal doc dell'hotel. La posizione sul lago permette di incontrare la pace e la tranquillità, nonché la fauna selvatica.

Location: The hotel is located close to the Queenstown airport but approximately 15 mins away from Queenstown itself. Parking: There is no parking bays at the Hilton (only valet) itself but it shares with Doubletree which is limited. Due to some maintenance work, level P2 was closed off and had to park in a reserved slot for the night. Cost of parking is NZ$ 16 per night. Rooms: This is where my issue lies, the room temp is centrally managed and it was freezing at night especially with the floor to ceiling windows. Had to go to the front desk for portable heater and extra blankets on the 1st night. Bathroom is non-heated (with tiled floors) so extra cold in there. In most places we stayed in NZ, the bathrooms had heated lamps overhead for comfort. I requested the accessible room for mom and it was provided as requested although the location of the room was on one end of the building which is a distance to walk. Food: Breakfast was a good selection and ran from 630 to 1030am.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel perché ci aspettava di godere della sua vignetta/alimenti. Altrimenti avremmo dovuto stare a Queenstown con molti ristoranti e pub. Come arrivare la sera, abbiamo messo una nota per la speranza di vivere la loro vignetta e cibo (o almeno cibo da dita) quando abbiamo prenotato l'hotel, e ricevere un'e-mail che non possono garantire, ma faranno il possibile per servire le nostre esigenze. Da allora non ci è stato inviato alcuna e-mail. Quando siamo arrivati all'hotel circa le 6:00, nessuno era nel desk, quindi abbiamo dovuto andare al bistro per scoprire che hanno lasciato la chiave in una scatola sicura senza alcuna notifica o inviandoci alcuna e-mail con la sua password. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare un po' che la signora bistro facesse una telefonata a chi le interessa, che era tutto a posto, e, peggio, abbiamo sentito che il bistro era riservato ad un evento di gruppo, in modo che non potevamo usare la struttura. Abbiamo dovuto guidare 15 minuti in una città vicina e comprare cibo da un supermercato. Credo che l'hotel ci avrebbe dovuto informare che l'evento di gruppo non ci ha fatto uscire dal servizio bistro/alimento e dobbiamo prepararci per il nostro cibo. Quando ho controllato, ho lasciato una nota sulle questioni e mi hanno aspettato che mi inviassero un'e-mail per esprimere le loro sincere scuse. Anche se mi piaceva tanto la stanza quanto l'intero posto, penso che il cottage Kinross abbia bisogno di professionalità per gestire il loro programma di soggiorno. Potrebbe essere stata molto più piacevole, l'esperienza di soggiorno memorabile.

great location being a 7 to 10 minutes drive away from the hustle and bustle of the queenstown town center very convenient to head to the airport, towards te anau or north towards arrowtown / cromwelll / wanaka without getting stuck in the morning traffic clean and modern room with decent amenities provided

E'bella come la pittura, vivere nella casa della favola, il servizio è molto buono, c'è un autobus per la stanza, un autobus per la città di Liu, e un autobus per la città reale, il servizio perfetto, si consiglia fortemente di rimanere all'hotel per tutto il giorno, e sedere a piedi o a piedi è la sensazione più bella

La stanza è pulita e abbiamo una bella vista sul lago mentre abbiamo colazione, anche se la vista è leggermente ostacolata dalla costruzione in corso. La posizione è leggermente scomoda se non hai una macchina da noleggio perché è difficile camminare di montagna dalla città.

Dopo lunghi giorni di esplorazione dei paesaggi circostanti, il tubo privato caldo è un'enfasi assoluta. Il bagno nell'acqua calda era incredibilmente rilassante e un modo per calmare i muscoli stanchi.
