Wow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that. She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met. It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here. Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed. While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information. The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate). The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean. Thank you so much Mrs. Li! You will be a highlight of our visit to China and will be remembered in our hearts forever. -Travis and Elisha (Colorado, USA) PS: when we get home I'm going to try to write up a bit about our trip on Tripadvisor because I couldn't find anything about Kashgar on trip advisor since covid, and some things have changed, so I thought it might be helpful for fellow travelers, so look for that.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Transportation is convenient and it is located at the entrance of Gucheng old city. There are many restaurants and shopping places around. The hotel front desk uncle and aunt are very friendly and active. Very cheap and clean. For backpackers, it is as comfortable as at home. If I come to Kashgar again, I would like to stay at this hotel.

La posizione dell'hotel è buona. Puoi camminare per 200 metri da Ximen. È molto vicino a Nang del papà del nonno. La camera dell'hotel è abbastanza grande e all'esterno c'è una terrazza adatta per scattare foto e bere il tè. Anche le porte e le scale sono belle. Anche l'acqua calda è molto buona. Ma bisogna fare attenzione quando si soggiorna nei B&B dell'antica città di Kashgar, perché sono case familiari private e sostanzialmente non hanno servizi. A volte la reception è occupata e bisogna aspettare un po'. Soprattutto nelle stanze al piano superiore, devi portare i bagagli su e giù da solo, e le scale non sono molto larghe, quindi le ragazze devono pesarle da sole. La sorella della reception era impegnata a portare i bagagli fino all'ultimo piano la notte in cui abbiamo fatto il check-in. Grazie mille!

Di notte puoi vedere la vista notturna della città. È caldo e premuroso. Mi piace il servizio del signor Watt nel bar della hall. Quando ha visto la nostra foto di gruppo, ha preso l'iniziativa per aiutare.Nella vetrina del bar della hall non c'è il gelato, ma il signor Watt ha preso l'iniziativa di consigliarlo.Nel buffet del ristorante al primo piano potrete scegliere tra diversi gusti di gelato , così come la cascata di cioccolato che piace particolarmente ai bambini. I bambini sono felici e anche noi siamo molto felici. La hall dell'hotel è davvero bella e i murali sono così abbaglianti! L'hotel è nel centro della città, con trasporti convenienti e viaggi convenienti.Consigliato! Infine, auguro al signor Watt del bar della hall di vendere più bevande. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express near Urumqi Railway Station and had a fantastic experience. Enjoy my stay so much that I extend my stay for 1 more night. Clean, spacious ,comfortable. the room is modern and somewhat looks futuristic. even small details are designed for comfort such as mirror with extra light on it, anti-slip bathroom mat, clear label on lights switch on/off so guest know what button for what lights, automatic night light turn on when guest wake up at night to go to washroom to ensure guest can see the walking path (been travelling for 6.5months and these are items that are almost never seen even in big hotel chain). the receptionist team are also warm and welcoming. Special thank you to Xiao Xia and Noor who help with my check in and extend my stay. Reasonable price, even offer discount on 2nd night (different person offer different discount, so i choose the best offer.lol) This place also close by to many eateries and 4minutes walking to bus stop where multiple buses stop there (i.e.there is bus from airport to here, i.e.take metro and change to bus. the bus will stop here). Convenient for solo traveller who rely on public transport to explore the surrounding (download 百度 or AMAP application to see route and bus timing in real time.百度is better though). They are also available a wechat away for any questions or recommendations that you'd like to know. Delicious breakfast!! Still thinking about it. taste like home cooking style. After travelling 6.5months , my tastebud miss this type of food.lol Overall, highly recommended place!! If I still have time (after exploring the southern part), I will definitely come back again to stay here for one final night before leaving Xinjiang. All the best 😎😄😀😁😃
