Ethan Allen Hotel, Danbury, CT We recently stayed at the Ethan Allen Hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. When we walked into the lobby, we were impressed by how welcoming and well-maintained it was. There was a convenient self-serve coffee and tea station with water and all the necessary condiments, which was a nice touch. Check-in was quick and easy. We were given a room on the first floor. Upon entering, we found the room to be very clean and spacious. Although we didn’t unpack, there was ample space for clothing and storage. A desk and chair were available, which would be useful for anyone needing to get work done. The room also included a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with pods, teabags, and all the condiments, very convenient. The TV was a good size and worked well. That said, the room itself is definitely in need of some upgrades. The sheers were broken and hanging off the hooks, and the privacy curtains were difficult to close. Both the curtains and sheers appeared worn and could use a good cleaning. The ceiling panels were noticeably yellowed, and while the bathroom was clean, it too showed signs of age. On a positive note, the towels were plentiful and of nice quality, and I appreciated the makeup mirror in the bathroom. The bed was very clean and comfortable. In summary, this hotel has many good qualities, especially in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and service. However, I would love to see the guest rooms updated to better match the inviting look and feel of the lobby. I would consider staying here again, especially if room renovations were made.

My first night at the hotel was fantastic, setting a positive tone for my stay. The second night brought a few challenges—minimal bathroom ventilation, a louder air conditioner, and some trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. However, the hotel staff were attentive and promptly offered me a new room, which resolved these issues and provided a much smoother experience. I took advantage of the fitness center, though navigating the new treadmills was a bit tricky since they weren’t pre-programmed. While the pool closure was disappointing, the hotel acknowledged my concerns and generously offered me a complimentary dinner with a drink. On the third night, I accidentally left my car keys behind when heading out in the morning. Upon returning, my key card didn’t work, but the staff quickly resolved the issue. Later, I relaxed in my room, appreciating the view despite a minor inconvenience with a broken curtain rod. Once again, the hotel addressed my concerns with care, granting me a complimentary night and a refund as a gesture of goodwill. While the hotel has room for improvement with its facilities, the staff truly stood out with their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine efforts to ensure my comfort. Their dedication turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one that left me feeling valued. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

自己有車，提前買好吃喝生活品，就會很好的。適合想住家感覺，有小廚房，衞生間乾濕分離……空調温度可控，床品舒適。沒有酒店大堂等附屬設備，有簡易早餐。跟一般美式家庭早餐差不多哈。咖啡牛奶雞蛋，有熱的燕麥……就是：你買了一些生活用品，加上行李，就舒舒服服“在家”住一樣。所以，入住之前去一次target哦，適合有孩子在附近讀書，你來長住一段時間。切記！一定要自己有車。

Il posto è invariato, ma se si guida, non c'è differenza. La stanza è pulita e pulita, le strutture sono relativamente vecchie, la colazione è anche molto semplice, in generale è una buona esperienza

Stavo solo per la notte, ma l'amava. Ci siamo fermati nella camera di King e era grande. La piscina interna era anche grande. Parcheggio gratuito fuori dall'hotel e all'interno del terreno dell'hotel era eccellente. E solo una guida 10-15 min a Mystic e Groton. Un grande soggiorno per il prezzo.

Il prezzo è grande! Sono completamente attrezzati e cortesia. Hanno una piscina e la lobby è molto pulita. Tuttavia, in tutta onestà, ci deve essere un giorno di pulizia profonda. Spiderweb e pareti polverose e caso scala. Cortina di finestra inchiodata e letti da letto. I venti del bagno hanno rivelato un'altra stanza che si argomentava molto chiaramente. E le tovalette di colore che non mi piacevano! Fortunatamente ho tenuto con me vestiti e tovaglie. E anche le mutandine e i bianchetti per gettarli sopra. Oh e io davvero non mi piaceva l'offerta di ”caldo” colazione attraverso. Solo una cosa calda è un produttore di waffle per tutto l'hotel. Nessun uova. Solo proteina era proteine bar di burro di arachidi & che non è buona proteina e alcuni ppl allergico alle noci. Nessuna opzione gratuita per il latte se ricordo per il grano. E solo il succo arancione non altre alternative. Solo molto basilare ma in generale darei 3 1/2 stelle bc potrebbe essere peggio. Mi preoccupano più la pulizia delle lastre e degli asciugamani in ogni parte del lobby.

Visited the area to attend a graduation ceremony at New Haven. This I was told is a brand new hotel so everything was top of the line - both facilities and services… Their breakfast is generous with a reasonable variety of morning meals .. my fav was the waffle and the fresh fruits. The room was very clean spacious and quiet. Staff are friendly and very professional..Because I needed to go to the city center on a daily bases, I was offered free rides via their accommodating clean shuttle van driven by very respectful and highly professional drivers. I stayed 6 nights and very much enjoyed my stay .. Toward the end of my stay I discovered that there are nice venues to explore directly next or near the hotel. i.e. a cinema complex, Olive Garden restaurant, Barnes and Nobles bookstore, Target, Chic Fillet and many more. Will certainly try it again if I ever come back to New Haven. Thanks to all of the Team, I sure did have a great experience!

Il hotel è stato pulito, confortevole e molto tranquillo, anche con molte squadre sportive giovanili che si trovavano lì. La nostra camera era meravigliosa, e con un facile controllo della temperatura, è stato bello rilassarsi dopo un lungo giorno. La piscina era grande e il centro fitness era aperto un grande plus. Il colazione era ragionevolmente prezioso e gusto davvero buono. La parte migliore, però, era il personale. Jenny e Mateo erano molto benvenuti e facile da parlare con , anche ricordarono i nostri piani per il fine settimana e chiedevano come andava tutto, che era molto pensativo. L'hotel era anche molto accogliente quando il nostro tempo evento è cambiato l'ultimo minuto, che abbiamo apprezzato davvero. In generale solo un soggiorno perfetto. Ci saremo certamente di nuovo!
