This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. It’s formerly known as Rosewood Yangon and now reopened for 8 months. Everything is excellent, very friendly, patient and helpful staff, extraordinary service. The hotel’s history dates back to 1927 so it’s absolutely a historical building. The decoration is very exquisite, breakfast is tasty and there are many choices. The location is also good and safe, very near to Sule Plaza, General Post Office and British Embassy. On terrace you can see the river view. I want to especially express my gratitude to Vanessa and Swar, they provided me with a lot of detailed information so I can know more about this hotel, this city and this country. Please make sure they can receive this feedback and my appreciation! Meanwhile, the front desk Moo Thaw, Luca showed me the hospitality. Highly recommends to stay in Yangon. Very nice surroundings with Inya lake views. Buffet breakfast also delicious with cozy space. I stayed together with my 2 years old baby . Hotel’s staffs are also very friendly and helpful.

I came to test out this hotel for a future vacation. It is the most expensive luxurious hotel in the country. I can swear by that. Youre greeted by a welcome drink the minute you enter. I really enjoyed my stay here as there is a personal butler on call 24/7 and she brings bright smiles and complimentary tea and coffees. I was served by khoon and thae thae whom were both very professional and attentive. It was my first experience with a butler. Definitely a memorable one. The suites are massive and though you can’t expect pristine cleanliness due to the buildings age, i did not notice any dirt anywhere except for the outside of the windows.

Old luxury hotel - resort style big pool, great breakfast, spacious rooms. They have to renovate it, but it still very nice. Ah, by the way. Its hard to find some restaurants nearby - be prepared for taxi for any case. But they have 24h convenient store on first floor. And - its very strange for the hotel of this level - there was a situation with exec lounge. It was in my booking but they refuse to give me access: ”It was an error in room description”. Guys, its really not my trouble, right? I wasnt in the mood for hard negotiations, so... let carma decide ))) And they have no local shuttle bus (yes, there is an error on hotel site). Heh )))
