Giappone: hotel con palestra nella provincia di Hokkaidō

Our stay at Chalet Ivy Jozankei was truly memorable and one of the best luxury hotel experiences we have had in Japan. The hotel is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and the hospitality from most of the staff was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady at reception (whose name I unfortunately did not catch), who shared that she personally grows the beautiful flowers displayed in the hotel's sitting area. That personal touch immediately made us feel at home. Mr. Tai, who checked us in, was friendly, patient, courteous and professional. He took the time to explain the room features and hotel facilities in detail, making us feel genuinely welcomed. The cleanliness deserves special recognition. I am particularly sensitive to cleanliness and usually notice dust very easily, yet I could not find a single speck of dirt anywhere in the room. It is honestly one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The lounge was another highlight. Each guest received a ¥1,000 alcoholic drink credit, and the complimentary snacks featured premium Hokkaido brands such as LeTAO, Yoshimi and Ryugetsu, making the experience feel truly luxurious. Dinner was outstanding. Every course was beautifully presented and delicious, while the restaurant staff provided attentive and polished service. The hotel's tasteful interior perfectly complemented the stunning views of the lush greenery and Toyohira River. We were also delighted to find beautifully cut and chilled melon and strawberries waiting in our room upon arrival. It was a thoughtful welcome that reflected the hotel's exceptional attention to detail. Breakfast was equally impressive, with beautifully prepared dishes that made each morning enjoyable. The private onsen in our room was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay, allowing us to relax while enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings. While our overall experience was excellent, I have a few suggestions for improvement. One Japanese male staff member who was on duty during check-in and later that evening came across as rather cold. On several occasions, I smiled and greeted him, but he did not acknowledge me and simply walked away. The contrast with the warmth shown by the rest of the team was quite noticeable. As such a premium property, it would also be wonderful if the hotel could offer more cultural or wellness activities, such as tea appreciation sessions, guided evening walks or seasonal experiences. During a previous stay at Capella Singapore, these activities became some of the most memorable parts of our visit, and I believe Chalet Ivy Jozankei has the perfect setting to offer something similar. I would also like to suggest a different restaurant seating arrangement for tables of four. Currently, only two guests can enjoy the beautiful river and greenery views while the other two face the interior of the restaurant. Arranging the tables perpendicular to the windows would allow all four guests to enjoy the spectacular scenery during their meal. Lastly, although we appreciated receiving tickets to the Summer Night Illumination Festival, accessing the main street requires walking up a very steep slope that is shared with vehicles, which could be challenging and potentially unsafe for elderly guests. In the future, perhaps a pedestrian bridge connecting Level 5 directly to the street level could improve accessibility and safety. Overall, Chalet Ivy Jozankei delivered an exceptional luxury experience with outstanding cleanliness, thoughtful hospitality, remarkable cuisine and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so memorable.

Comfort moderno con servizio eccezionale. Recentemente ci siamo trasferiti in questo nuovo hotel per 3 notti e siamo stati profondamente impressionati. L'atmosfera & camera: L'hotel dispone di un design pulito e mediterraneo. La mia stanza era una grandezza decente, non troppo piccola per due persone, e perfettamente mantenuta. ิิิิฺ-Le moderne strutture, tra cui una macchina Nespresso e una TV intelligente con Netflix, hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto comodo quando neve fuori. - Una cura attenta e coerente, la stanza è stata rinfrescata ogni giorno con acqua potabile. Servizio: Il personale qui sono le vere stelle. Sono veramente amichevole, ci salutano sempre con un sorriso. Sono andati oltre per aiutare a prenotare un taxi a tasso fisso per il nostro trasferimento aeroportuale, che ha reso il nostro partenza mattina presto senza stress. Localizzazione e cena: L'hotel non è proprio nella zona centrale, ma è a pochi passi da tutto. Una piccola nota per il miglioramento: L’unica cosa che mi mancava è la capacità di aprire una finestra leggermente aperta, perché qualcuno che è sensibile alla temperatura della camera durante il sonno (soprattutto in inverno), avendo un po’ di aria fresca avrebbe reso il soggiorno ancora più perfetto. Staff are remarkably friendly, well-trained, and consistently ready to assist. The breakfast buffet offers a wide and impressive variety of choices. While the room lighting is somewhat dim for reading or applying makeup—likely a deliberate design choice—the room features a pleasant view overlooking the brewery. Additionally, the mattress and pillows provide an exceptionally comfortable and relaxing stay.

È la nostra seconda volta qui e noi lo amo tutti. Bello design con servizio di prima classe e tutto nella stanza è pulito . Letto e le mutandine sono molto confortevoli. La stanza è spaziosa. Se usciamo di nuovo da questo aeroporto, rimarrò qui. Non potevo raccomandarlo abbastanza.

Exceptional Private Onsen & Hokkaido Flavors. Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area. Hightlights: The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch. Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries. Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless. Observations: Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity. Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV. Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door. Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.

The hotel is certainly up to the standard and conveniently located right by the cruise tour for whale watching. Price I paid is on par with the service received. Nothing to critique about the buffet and they are cooked to order. What I really like the most is their lounge with many drinks and snacks options available and I am quite surprised in a good way about that. Only thing I would suggest is, for those who want more privacy in the bath, book yourself a room with private onsen as the open air public bath is rather small and can be filled up very quickly. Having an onsen in the room can resolve this issue completely. The seafood don in the breakfast is very good and nothing to complaint. I would certainly come back next time in the winter.

I had an enjoyable stay at Akan Yuku no Sato Tsuruga. The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere and is a wonderful place to experience the beauty of Lake Akan. The service was excellent throughout my stay. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, always greeting guests with a smile and making every interaction pleasant. Their hospitality really enhanced the overall experience. The onsen facilities were one of the highlights of the hotel. They are spacious, beautifully designed, and have a luxurious feel, offering a great variety of indoor and outdoor baths. The only minor drawback was that the top-floor outdoor bath did not appear to be as clean as the other baths. Overall, the onsen experience was still great. The room was a little on the compact side, but it was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, I had a great stay and Akan Yuku no Sato Tsuruga is a great choice in Lake Akan.

L'hotel è direttamente collegato alla metropolitana e al piano inferiore si trova un centro commerciale, il che lo rende molto comodo per cenare e fare shopping! L'hotel è situato in cima a una collina, offre una vista molto bella. Tuttavia, la questione della sostanza e la sua opinione non sono state così impressionanti come si prevedeva. Se si intende cenare fuori dall'hotel, si prega di notare che si dovrà guidare verso il basso, che richiede circa 30 minuti per raggiungere i ristoranti più vicini.

Il check-in era un brindisi, la stanza era pulita n abbastanza spazio per 2 pax. Il ubriaco è grande con freddo n piscina calda, un sacco di parcheggio disponibile in hotel n le sue aree circostanti. Certamente essere di nuovo se tornando al furano!
